Error messages in Event Viewer

I get the following error messages in EV, please help to decipher and all the solutions, thank you:

1 - system shutdown prior to 29/01/13 to 18:14 was not planned.

2 - the system has rebooted without clearly stop the first. This error can be caused if the system is not responding, crushed, or lost power unexptedly.

3 session "Microsoft Security customer OOBE" stopped because of the following error: 0xC000000D.

4 audit events have been abandoned by public transport. 0

5 - the SNMP Service encountered an error when accessing the registry SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\SNMP\Parameters\TrapConfiguration key.

6 - the computer has restarted after a bugcheck.  The bugcheck was: 0 x 0000000024 (0x9f693698, 0x9f693270, 0x001904fb, 0x8af32c51).  A dump was saved in the: C:\Windows\MEMORY. DMP.  Report ID: 012913-25890-01.

7 - the print spooler cannot start because the PrinterbusEnumerator could not start.  Error code 0 x 490.   This can happen due to instability of the system or a lack of system resources.

8 - custom dynamic link libraries are loaded for each application.  The system administrator should review the list of libraries to ensure that they are linked to trusted applications.

9 - the next (s) start or system start could not load:

amacpi

mssmbios

I am particularly concerned about #8 - libraries of custom applications loading dynamic links...  (doesn't look good)

I might suggest that your support align more closely the event viewer, since this is a descrept of the activity log, and that it be made possible to COPY the EV, WHO SHE does APPEAR TO BE POSSIBLE CURRENTLY.

Anyway, your help to clarify and solve these problems is appreciated.

Hi Al Adams,.

Welcome to the Microsoft Community and thanks for posting the question.

From the description, it seems you are trying to find errors in the Event Viewer logs.

Files related to the way Windows dynamic link library communicates via the network and the Internet, most often related to Microsoft Outlook applications

Event logs are special files events important folders on your computer, for example when a user connects to the computer or when a program encounters an error. As soon as these types of events occur, Windows records the event in an event log that you can read by using Event Viewer.

It would be great if you can answer this question in order to help you further.

Are you facing any problem with the operating system?

I did everything with the drivers and software. In the event log, it has this event where he falls TCP/IP NetBIOS support apparently without reason? I then immediately lose my connection and it never seems to happen with the rhyme or reason. Any suggestions? It doesn't seem to be a hardware problem either. Where is microsoft on this topic? Can someone please explain to me how to solve this problem. My computer shuts down whenever I get on the internet. I need some answers please.

You have a problem with a driver Atheros.

It could be the network card is bad or the driver is damaged.

If it is a wireless card, try to connect to the router with an ethernet cable. See if you can get an updated driver from the computer manufacturer's website.

    Parameters of scanning has been:

    • System
    • Errors
    • 1-20 errors, valued at twenty.

What are these errors and they are nothing to worry about?

I have Nero 8 on this system and have an updated hosts file the running here: http://winhelp2002.mvps.org/hosts.htm

Not sure, but I may have changed a network setting to activate the new hosts file work properly.

Seen these errors for a while. system works well and smoothly.  No symptoms of malware or infection seen or found.  I would call these software errors as they seem does not affect the operation of the system.

    XP Home Edition SP3 P4 2.8 2 GB RAM

    Joe

    Oh yes :)

I have never used the program VEW and don't think I will check it - I just look at the Event Viewer logs the old-fashioned way (manually) if I think that there is a problem, but that might just be the old me.

It is true that XP Home doesn't have Group Policy Editor, but all policy settings are always available via the registry.

Some malware will change your GP settings and cause problems.

I have a little import registry will correct all the ones I know, so if someone has these symptoms, any flavor of XP, they are running, I'll just send the script because sometimes you will be not able to solve the problem, even if you have not the GP Editor.

The registry always import work - and work well for XP Home or XP Pro.  If you have the symptoms and XP Home, what would you?   Start the import operation of the registry.

If you're curious, off on my SkyDrive it is a spreadsheet Excel (Group Policy settings) who has all the parameters of GP and where they are in the registry.  I do not recommend start searching, but it is useful to know where things are if there is a problem.

I would not allow the connection of a security XP stuff unless you think you're being attacked.  More and verbose logging slows things down.  My Event Viewer Security log is empty.

Find the links to the Microsoft Support Engineer for the most part useless to actually solve a problem (because it help you with your problem), if someone has a question or point of Event Viewer, I usually just send them this:

To view the logs in Event Viewer, click Start, settings, Control Panel, administrative tools, event viewer.

A shortcut to the event viewer is to click on start, run and enter in the box:

    %SystemRoot%\system32\eventvwr.msc

Click OK to launch the event viewer.

The most interesting newspapers are usually the system and Application logs.

Some newspapers such as security and Internet Explorer may be completely empty or have just a few items.  The default settings for XP wants do not connect all this activity, unless you need to solve a problem in these areas.  If you enable logging for them the papers fill up quickly and could adversely affect the performance of your system with all the extras (often unnecessary) activity.

If you have Microsoft Office installed, it has its own newspapers, and they can be empty or occasional boring activity very little or, if there is no problem with your desktop applications.  It's normal.

Not every event is a problem, some are informational messages that things work very well, and some are warnings.

However, no event should defy reasonable explanation.

Each event is sorted by Date and time.  Errors will be red Xs, warnings will have yellow! s.
Informational messages have white is.  Not every error or warning event means that there is a serious question.

Some are excusable at boot time when Windows starts.  Try to find only the events to the date and time around your problem.

If you double-click on an event, it will open a window of properties with more information.  On the right are black up and down arrow keys to scroll through the open events. The third button that looks like two overlapping pages is used to copy the details of the event in your Windows Clipboard.

When you find an interesting event that occurred at the time of your question, click on the third button at the top and arrows to copy the details and then you can paste the details (right click, paste or CTRL-V) the text in detail here for analysis.  Remove all personal information from your information after you paste If you are forced to do so.

If you paste an event, it will look something like this annoying system startup event:

    Event type: Information
    Event source: Service Control Manager
    Event category: no
    Event ID: 7035
    Date: 14/07/2010
    Time: 17:54:18
    User: Jose
    Computer: computer

    Description:
The Remote Access Connection Manager service was sent successfully a starting control.

To get a fresh start on any log of the event viewer, you can choose to clear the log (the log backup is available), and then reproduce your problem, then just look at the events around your show and troubleshoot events that are happening when you have your question.

You can search for events on the World Wide Web and get ideas.  It's where people events they see and then to the top of their questions, ideas and solutions:

    http://www.EventID.NET/

If you find your event in the discussion, the first idea or discussion does not necessarily mean it is the "answer" to your situation, so read through all the ideas to find the one that sounds more like your situation.

  • Get the error in the event viewer that refers to Repultemtn. How to remove it?

    Original title: Repultemtn

Every day I receive at least one error in Event Viewer-system that refers to Repultemtn:

The Repultemtn service failed to start due to the following error:
The system cannot find the specified file.
The only trace I can find is the reference to a former pilot of Repultemtn in the registry. When I search online, I don't find any reference to this driver. Someone met by this old driver before?

I have a last question. The reference to Repultemtn has now disappeared from current control set in the registry, but it is still listed in ControlSet004 and cannot be deleted. Should I be worried?

Look at the key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\Select to see what the setting is, if it's a set of failed control, you can skip the whole game, if it's the LastKnownGood game it will be gone once you restart the computer.

When you start Windows the bootstrapper checks the key HKLM\SYSTEM\Select to see which setting it should load, if 004 is a set of failed control will never be loaded again, if it's the LastKnownGood control set it will be charged only if you use the F8 advanced boot menu and select this option to start the computer to the last good known Configuration.

After that you start the computer and successfully log on the LKGC is copied over from the set of controls that has been used to start the computer, these entries have been removed from the default (CurrentControlSet) If you restart the computer normally with the control set by default the LastKnownGood (which is a copy of the set of control kick successfully) can no longer contain the entries.  The LastKnownGood game should NEVER be modified manually... otherwise he will not be the same game as the one that was last with success started, that's why in most circumstances you must only change the current setting.  See here for more information about the boot process and control sets and the Select button:

I get these since I installed MSE this time on Windows 7 and also on my most old laptop with Vista.  I see that it is not critical, but I don't know what the problem is.  I have not found a problem when the MSE is scanning or protect my computer.

Is this serious and I want to do something more?  If someone can tell me how to investigate this type of info in case the Viewer, I would be happy.

    Thanks for any help.

    Joanne

    Hi Joanne,

You have any anti-virus or anti-malware to third party software installed with MSE (Microsoft Security Essentials)?

I wouldn't think it's serious, but a mistake is a problem regardless of its gravity.
However, I would like to you follow these steps and check to see if they help.
    Step 1:

I would like you to put your computer in a clean boot State in order to eliminate any conflict of third party software causing the problem to occur. I suspect the involvement of a third-party software.
Note: Please follow step 7 to your computer as usual after the test.
    Step 2:
You can also Uninstall MSE and install version 2 of MSE and check if the problem persists.
Note: Be sure to only install the version appropriate for your operating system

  • Error in the Event Viewer system log

    Separated from this thread.

    Gerry,

Thank you for your response.  It gives me a better understanding than the data stored on my computer that may be able to help me, and you have introduced me into a player.  I've posted the system log here and it includes hundreds of lines.  However I do not know how to make it visible to you.  I checked it to share and the only file that is serious is one that you brought me to download.  Although I have not found the answer to my problem, I found your advice gave me a better understanding about the tools that are available.  Maybe I'll get to understand how to use them.

Please provide more information for your issue to be diagnosed.

Restart your computer and wait 20 minutes for the system to operate before you download information. When the review much, not Event Viewer log files all problems show in the period immediately after the computer has booted.

Please provide a copy of your system information file. Type the system information in the search box above the Start button and press the ENTER key (alternative is select Start, all programs, accessories, System Tools, system information). Select file, Export and give the file a name noting where it is located. Not to place the cursor in the body of the report before exporting the file. The system creates a new information file system each time system information is available. You must allow a minute or two before the file is completely filled before exporting a copy. Please download the file to your OneDrive, to share with everyone and post a link here. If the report is in one language other than English, please indicate the language.

Please download and share with everyone a new copy of your log System of your event viewer on your disc one and post a link here. It allows to avoid confusion if you delete all previous copies of the log files of your OneDrive.

To access the system, log, select Start, Control Panel, administrative tools, Event Viewer, in the list on the left of the window, expand Windows logs and select System. Place the cursor on the system, select the Action in the Menu and record all events like (the evtx default file type) and give a name to the file. Do not offer not filtered files. Do not place the cursor in the list of reports before selecting the Action from the menu. Do not clear the logs so that you have a persistent problem.

General remarks on the event viewer:

  • When running scheduled report, receive error message "table or view does not exist.

This is the first time that we play with the planning reports. We can schedule a report to base without problem, BUT when the report begins to call database packages it starts mistake. We found the package is called end but when it's a SQL query he does not know the scope of the table. For example if the code says "select * of per_all_people_f' he doesn't know what per_all_people_f. BUT if I change the code to specify the owner of the table ' select * from hr.per_all_people_f' then it will run successfully."

In discoverer we have it set up so that a generic user db (DISCO_SCHEDULE) is used when running scheduled reports. I searched metalink and we run scripts of Oracles about this user setting. At this point, we think of creating a group of synonyms for tables of this error, but thought that it had to be a better way.

Anyone have any ideas on how to solve this problem? Their a configuration step we missed when setting up the user db DISCO_SCHEDULE?

Thanks in advance for any assistance received.

    Marty

    Hello

Your problem is that you call the function hr_general.decode_person_name the DISCO_SCHEDULE user and like most HR packages, the package hr_general is defined with the current_user rights. Therefore, the package will use the privileges of the current user when the package is run.

You can try to grant privileges to the tables to the DISCO_SCHEDULE user and creating the necessary synonyms, but you will struggle to get this working. HR packages refer to other packages and tables, and ensure that you have all the privileges that are put in place will be virtually impossible.

Another approach is to create a view owned by APPS that makes calls to the hr_general package. You can also create a wrapper function which is owned by APPS and created with the copyright that calls the package hr_general. You can then call this package instead of using hr_general.

  • DEFAULT DOWNLOAD EPG IN WINDOWS VISTA MEDIA CENTER ERROR ON ERROR CODE: MC EVENT VIEWER CODE 0 13.

No not someone arrive at a viable solution for this yet? I had this problem for about 6 weeks and tried all of the solutions that I can find with no luck. I think that now it is linked to an update of Windows but which when I certainly don't know.  When I do a system clean reinstall the EPG download will temporarily (I did twice now) but after just a couple of updates and when Windows update has done been thing guide refused once more to download. How the world would be a person understand this because when I do reinstall the system there are about 150 updates waiting to download?

Come on Microsoft Engineering people must certainly be a solution to this problem if anyone cares enough to explore the substantive issue. It seems that there are many, many others having the same problem.

The old post of 2006 has an explanation detailed on the error code 13 and the same thing applies for Vista too, this is why I mentioned this one.

I understand your frustration. The problem is essentially due to firewalls or things of internet security or antivirus interference.

http://Forum.wegotserved.com/index.php?/topic/2676-guide-dowload-error-code-13-Vista-users came up with a solution. Does that help?

    Try the other suggestions too.

  • List of ERRORS in the event viewer...

Hello, could you explain to me, what should I do about it?
All of these errors and warnings...

    Thank you.

Yes, long closed downs, start-up newspaper very often!

The less you have to run all the time, most things you want to run will perform:

Use Autoruns to understand this all starts when your computer's / when you log in. Look for whatever it is you do not know using Google (or ask here.) You can hopefully figure out if there are things from when your computer does (or connect) you don't not need and then configure them (through their own built-in mechanisms is the preferred method) so they do not - start using your resources without reason.

You can download and use Process Explorer to see exactly what is taking your time processor/CPU and memory. This can help you to identify applications that you might want to consider alternatives for and get rid of all together.

  • Error message on my Vista computer: missing or damaged file: C:/windows/system32/drivers/ATAPI.sys. (Status: OXC0000098). NO RECOVERY DISK! (lost).

Missing or damaged file: C:/windows/system32/drivers/ATAPI.sys. (Status: OXC0000098). NO RECOVERY DISK! (lost). How can I recover my system, if possible? It does not even start.

Do you know when this problem started?  Try a system restore to a point in time BEFORE the problem started.  Here is the procedure: http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/using-windows-vista-system-restore/.  Don't forget to check the box to show more than 5 days of restore points.  If the first attempt fails, then try an earlier point or two.  NOTE: You will need to re - install any software and updates that you have installed between now and the restore point, but you can use Windows Update for updates.

If the system restore does not work, do a startup repair, boot from the disk Installation of Windows Vista genuine (or one that you can borrow from someone) or a recovery disc.  Here is the procedure: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/tutorial148.html.  The Startup Repair tool can repair atapt.sys.  You may need to change the BIOS to do first the CD drive in the boot sequence to boot from the CD.  To do this, hold the screen that tells you the key F to push to enter the menu start or start of installation.  Push it quickly. Make the changes, save your work and exit.  Put the CD in the drive and reboot.  When you are prompted, press any key to boot from the CD.

If you do not have a floppy disk, you can make a bootable recovery disk by using http://neosmart.net/blog/2008/windows-vista-recovery-disc-download/ with burning software like: http://www.snapfiles.com/get/active-isoburner.html and, of course, a blank CD.

If this does not work, try to start in safe mode (click on the F8 key during startup and go into safe mode with network - or using the prompt from the disk, if necessary, several times).  Then we will check some of your system files:

Go to start / all programs / accessories / command prompt and right click on command prompt, and then click Run as administrator (skip thiis step if you use the disk)...

Type sfc/scannow, go and let it run.  It will scan and try to correct some of your system files.  If all goes well he comes complete with no corruption, it could not repair (if it has these post of corruption here or try to analyze it to find the problem or files using http://support.microsoft.com/kb/928228.  In a best-case scenario, he'll fix Atapi.sys.

While in the command prompt, type chkdsk /f /r and enter and let it run.  It will scan and try to solve any corruption or bad sectors on your hard drive and remove especially as a cause.

If it does not, then thanks for posting any repetitive error message in Event Viewer on startup (Start / Control Panel / administrative tools / event viewer - type eventvwr and enter, if do it from the command prompt).  Here's how to use Event Viewer: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/topic40108.html.

I hope this helps.  Post back the results of the analysis and attempts to repair if these do not work.

    Good luck! Lorien - a - MCSE/MCSA/network + / A +.
