Hi John,.

Thanks for posting your question on the Forums of community of Microsoft.

1. is the computer connected to a network domain?

2 are connected with the administrator account?

3. don't you make changes to the computer before the show?

Here are some ways you can follow to resolve the problem:

Method 1:

If you are not logged as an administrator, log in as an administrator and then try to access the command run.

Method 2:

Scan your computer anti-virus using the Microsoft Safety Scanner.
Reference:
http://www.Microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx
Note: If you run the virus scan will get deleted the program is infected with the virus. Therefore, reinstall the program. Also, if files and folders are affected by the virus, while they might even get deleted.

If your computer is on a domain network, please post the request in the TechNet support community:

Hope this solves the problem.

  • Does not open the files shared via the command run

We use a server in our Organization and we can connect to this server using RDP. But when we try to access shared files and folders in this server via the command run in the client by entering the IP address of the server asks it enter network password, and we enter the right username and password (I'm sure that I entered the password and user name correct to 100%) it displays 'failed to connect '. ': unknown username or bad password ". and if we took the same user name and password via RDP it will easily connect without any error. • Previously, work job FTP in the batch file gives message "error opening script file.

I have two FTP jobs on two separate machines that I've been running as tasks scheduled for a few years with success.  They are on the same network, but we're on the field, the other is out of the field.  Both are Windows XP SP3.

Starting this week, two of them fail when you try to load the actual script FTP file.    Here is an example of the ftp command that I use: FTP d - n-i-s:C:\scripts\getmyfiles.txt

The message says "Error opening C:\scripts\getmyfiles.txt" and displays help FTP.  I should also mention that the FTP seems to work fine if I connect from the command prompt, and does not use a script file manually.

Both of these batch files containing similar (different but calling script files) FTP commands were executed the week last successfully.

    Any suggestions are appreciated!

% Error opening nvram: / startup-config (Permission denied)

You are indeed allowed to run the command (as evidenced by the fact that the command run).

See the config is actually an alias for the command more nvram:startup - config

Accordingly, the question is the permission on the file, not the control itself.

Unfortunately, the file systems do not explicitly support permissions.  This used to be implicitly supported by permissions to see the config.

Maybe it's a bug.  I opened a case on it if you need really need this feature.

    Bill

    Hi William,.

Thanks for posting the question in the Microsoft Community. First of all, I would like to congratulate you on the purchase of a new camera. I will certainly help you to question.

    We start with two questions:

    1. the problem occurs only for a particular disc?

2 are you able to open other discs?

    3. do you get an error message? If Yes, what is the full and exact error message?

    4. have you installed Windows XP Service pack 3 on the computer?

If you are faced with the question with a particular disc, there are chances that it might be damaged. I suggest you check out the link and try to download the software:

If the problem is not resolved, please respond with more information to help you best.

I come with a message "error opening file for writing" C:docume~1\user\LOCALS~1\Temp\OpenCandy\OCSetupHlp.dll, as I am trying to install a program.

    Any ideas what is happening?

    Thank you

Hi and thanks for your time.

The program was an application to create your own music

I don't have any problem installing other applications programs...

The solution was a scan with malware bytes who discovered infected with the registry data.

So I deleted it and after running a lot on the line scans, I deleted the program, I wanted to install.

    Everything is still better then...

  • Open and run purchased downloads

I bought and download Corel Album 7.  However, it is not open or run.  I have windows XP.  What should I do now?  I get the message that an error has occurred in Setup.exe and it's the end of this.

I agree that this is a pretty generic error message that does not lend itself to an easy search.  You can open the event viewer (start > run > eventvwr > OK) and see if there is an error with an error code of your application Corel, but I think your best bet is to try first installation of Corel by phone free support (and you could tell that Album 7 - If this is the correct name of your application - is so new that there are no entries in the Corel KnowledgeBase for this).

  • Error opening Windows Firewall: 0 x 80070005 access denied

I have Windows Vista Ultimate Service Pack 1 installed on my computer. When I opened a Bittorrent client, I receive the following error message

"Error opening Windows Firewall: 0 x 80070005 access denied."

I've added exception for a specific port 24366 (used by the BT client) on the Windows Firewall, to receive incoming connections. However my port (http://www.utorrent.com/testport?port=xxxxx) and the test of telnet to the port, seem to fail. The port online test gives the following error

    "Year error has occurred!
" Port 24366 does not seem to be open."

This looks like a problem with the Windows Firewall. Any ideas on how I could get this problem resolved?

Thank you Rob for the various ideas. I finally got this working! Not sure if this is a Vista problem or just my computer, but when I opened the customer of BT using 'RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR', it started working.

I hope this helps others out there of similar problems. It's a two-step process,

    1. make sure that the port of the torrent is open in Windows Firewall
    2. open the customer of BT using 'RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR'

NOTE: I am already connected with an administrator account.

    Thank you guys.

NTVDM is the program that emulates back and very old windows. There is none
the reason that the NVidia Control Panel would need this.

Registry programs, outside the cause of problems, often have a facility to cancel.
    Look in the program.

Plan to run the restore of the system (type in the search on the start menu) to roll
Back to a date that precedes ran you the program.
