Error Photo transfer from iPhone to Mac

Hi all

I have synced my iphone today with my Mac through the 'Photos' application to save and sort my photos.

Unfortunately, it seems that many of my photos have been 'cut' and lost their original quality

See attached example. Gray lines appeared and the image seems such that reproduced.

Happen similarly to a lot of my uploaded photos.

Thanks a lot for your help.

How exactly synchronize you the phone? It may work for a new attempt

  • Need to transfer from iPhone to iTunes apps

I had to perform a new installation of OS 10.11 El Capitan. Doing so removed my apps (I think my music library is OK...) - so I have all the apps on my iPhone.

The issue is - as I can't synchronize without wiping the iPhone with nothing library on my MBP - how to get apps from the iPhone to MBP? Note, I have file > transfer from iPhone (as coming from another page from Apple's Support) and has no effect.

I have 5 apps according to iTunes on MBP - but iTunes accurately 'sees' the 191 apps on iPhone

Any wise advice would be greatly appreciated.

First say you that the library is correct but then tell you it's a library, hence it is not correct.  The way to avoid having to wipe a phone is to transfer the library properly.

Move a library: quick response if you use preferences by default iTunes settings: copy the folder iTunes integer (and to ensure that all of its subfolders and files) intact to the other disk. Hold down the option/ALT key to start iTunes and on request to select a library iTunes Library.itl file in the copied folder.

When it's to a new computer put the iTunes folder copied to the default location of Macintosh HD > users > * user name * > music (or home > music) so you don't even have to start with the down option, iTunes will automatically look for what it y.  (Make sure that it is no anything already in the iTunes folder it that you want to keep because you will replace it with the one you are moving).  Don't forget to authorize computer in iTunes to your Apple ID if you use it to synchronize with Apple devices or play multimedia DRM protected (e.g., movies).

Some elements used in iTunes related activities are not stored in the iTunes library folder, but in special folders.  If you move a library to another computer, you can copy these too:

  • Cannot import photos from iPhone to mac after 9.2 & 10.11.2

A few weeks ago, I could join my iphone to my mac (USB) and iPhoto open, show me the new photos, allow me to import, etc.

After "improvements", nothing happens when I move the iphone.

OK, tell me, maybe Apple finally stopped supporting iphoto.

So I place Photos. Still nothing.

There seems to be no obvious way to import pictures from my iphone to my mac. I guess I could use e-mail, but it's so stupid.

    Any help appreciated.

What happens, when you launch iTunes when you attached your iPhone?  Do you see the iPhone in iTunes?

Then unlock the iPhone, if it is still blocked and when prompted, confirm that the iPhone should trust the computer when you are prompted on the iPhone.

    • You use Dropbox?  Then ensure that the preferences in Dropbox are set in a way that Dropbox is unable to access photos on your iPhone when the iPhone is connected.

  • transfer songs from iphone to mac?

I accidentally deleted songs on my laptop which are still on my iPhone. I tried to sync to have these songs 'redownloaded' on my laptop but it does not work.

These songs are not purchased, they were imported from my own CD.

There are a few software programs that claim to do this, but: "MacX iPhone mounter" goes down, "anytrans" says the free trial has expired, forcing you to buy... I don't want to download any 3rd software always end up with the same result.

What is the solution? a free?

I tried to have iTunes 'locate' missing songs, but he can't 'see' my iPhone for this

    Gurus out there? Help?

    Thank you!

When it has been removed from iTunes, do you know if it deleted the file in the computer as well? If it's only missing in iTunes, files will still be on your computer.

You can open the Finder, and then click your Home (home) folder. Go to music > iTunes > iTunes Media > music.

Assuming that you have not been messing around with the settings/folder iTunes, iTunes will have copied the music file into this folder.

You use Time Machine? It would be easier to simply restore the songs using a backup. To my knowledge there is not a way to transfer music from iPhone to computer without a third-party program.

  • iPhoto / Photo transfer from computer to phone

I finally understood how to transfer photos selected in my iPhone of iPhotos via a folder designated in iPhotos that transfers the photos to a folder selected in my phone.

Apple has decided to no longer support iPhotos.

Now, I have to deal with photos - (which is not as user-friendly as iPhotos).

I went through a learning curve and multiple libraries identified in Photos and finally got a designated photo library can I open when I need to access my pictures to the computer.
NOW - no matter how many times I tried to understand this, pictures will NOT transfer my account identified in this list on my iPhone the same way I used to be able to do it in iPhotos.

It is essential because I have an app on my phone which is ONLY usable on my phone that helps me to manipulate photos in a specialized style.  I can then download rigged photos back to my office and moving to special folders on the Photos, then export them to the where - ever I need on my computer.

It is SO frustrating... any suggestions or ideas on how to get photos to allow me to use a folder identified to move the photos in my iPhone?

Turn on iCloud photo library on all devices - it will keep all totally synchronized libraries and any changes (additions, deletions, or modifications) libraries will be synchronized to all devices - is much easier than your work in iPhoto flow

  • How to transfer music from iPhone to Mac?

    Hey guys,.

If the past few days, I've been playing with my iTunes files and put them on a USB stick in order to free up space. Everything worked perfectly until yesterday, as I synced my iPhone to iTunes (which was to store the files on the USB key) as the synchronization is almost complete, everything crashed, ejected USB itself and I got the message "disc ejected properly." I tried to plug in the USB key in once again, but absolutely nothing happens.

When I open the USB drive utility comes after awhile, but refuses to ride. I am replacing the USB today and get a new one. So I gave up for the recovery of my old files.

Which still leaves me with questions to lose my entire iTunes library. Backups are good, they are easily replaceable. But my entire library, a few songs of 2000 has completely disappeared. I don't have the original CD anymore, and as I've been upgrading my storage management I also absolutely no backup of my mac. The only place where I have a copy of my entire library is my trusty iPhone SE.

So after all that! My question is this: how the * all of these songs can I turn off my phone and on my Mac?

PS I'm not willing to pay for the programs that I'm already on an extremely tight budget. But I must find a way to get my music!

    Thank you in advance, Grant.

You do not have a copy backup?

The iPhone is not a backup/storage device. Synchronization is a way - computer to iPhone.  The only exception is the purchases of tunes. File > devices > transfer purchases

You will need to buy a third, at your risk, manifest program to recover anything else.  If not supported by Apple.

  • Copy music and more from iPhone to mac, rather than the reverse?

Using a PC, I finally have my iPhone music and everything set up exactly like I want. I was hoping synchronization and backup, and everything with my Macbook instead of the PC, but I can't seem to do without erasing my iPhone. My Mac iTunes library is virtually empty, so I was wondering if there was some sort of implement for phone orders is copied on it, and not vice versa.

A mobile device is designed to allow only limited copying of media from the device to a computer (only iTunes Store purchases).  You need to transfer your library to the Mac, or else he will always want to erase from your phone.

Page 6 of Apple, exhaustively meticulous instructions step by step: how to move your iTunes library to a new computer - https://support.apple.com/HT204318 it is convenient if you think that all your materials are not in the standard location.

My resume in a sentence if you use preferences by default iTunes settings: copy the folder integer iTunes (and to ensure that all of its subfolders and files) intact at the other disk, hold down the option/alt key (shift on Windows) keys to start iTunes and on request to select a library select iTunes Library.itl file in the copied folder (open a different iTunes library file or create a new one - https://support.apple.com/HT201596).

When it comes to a new car/computer put the iTunes folder copied to the default location of Macintosh HD > users > * user name * > music (or home > music) so you don't even have to start with the down option, iTunes will automatically look it there.

-Music files Apple cache: http://dougscripts.com/itunes/2015/09/new-flush-apple-music-cache-files/ - ~/Library/Caches/com.apple.iTunes/SubscriptionPlayCache/ file, which is a bit like a "iTunes Media" folder for music from Apple

Pulling content out of the iPhone may be difficult if the course through third-party program. Pulling content that is simply there as a reference to an Exchange Server account is still more difficult, especially when you actually do have permissions of table of contents more.

There are many media extractors out there in the desert. No which one I met that go up to extract emails from an iPhone. Accounts Exchange wear protections than other accounts because they are intended for the use of the company, so extract the content out of one through your iPhone while the service is not truly connected will be a little difficult. You may well be able to transmit emails individually by changing the 'From' address to another email that you currently have on your iPhone. He cannot transfer your Exchange e-mail as it is right now, because you don't really have access to send anything from him.

If you are looking for an easier way, perhaps join your old company and ask if their IT Admin or the person they have to manage the messaging service to create an archive for you and who to send your way. Companies can be a bit skittish about sharing this content with employees passed, but it is worth it.

  • Problems of blackBerry Smartphones photo transfer from the memory of the device to media card.

My BB has hundreds of photos on the device's memory, so I can't transfer, then to the PC (T Mobile "expert" told me) unless I have move to the media card. How it happened, I don't know. So, looking through this great forum I found the answer from a guy with a link to ID of Article: KB05478, I'm sorry, I couldn't find the post, but I photocopied it. Thank you, whoever you are.

BUT there is no command 'move' on my BB, so I can't move the photos from the memory of the device to the media card.  I can, however, move them individually. Needless to say, there are 100 pictures, which will have for ages.  Is there another method?

    Thank you very much.

    P.

Yes, this is what he means.  It is at the same time.

The best thing to do in the future is to get a camera configuration always save the photos to the media card / media card.  The photos on the memory device, if ever, the device is corrupted or fails you will lose all your photos.
