Error recognition USB on XP SP3

This may be identical or similar because of ManOMullet.

Whenever I connect my new Sansa Clip + to my XP V2002 SP3 with all the latest Microsoft, the system refuses to connect it up as a USB device.  Setup-> system-> hardware-> Device Manager displays the USB port with the message: "this device cannot start: Code 10."  I took the advice of troubleshooting and uninstalled the USB port.  I plug in, it is under the new hardware, munges for a while and then tells me that there is a problem during the installation of the equipment.  The device manage returns the same message: "this device cannot start: Code 10."

However, when I have it join a XP older than SP2 competition, the device attaches immediately and works perfectly.

I'm limping this second computer loading, but I need to be able to fix the Sansa to the computer because it is one that is connected to the Internet.

After a Google search for "sansa clip + driver XP ', I found:

http://www.FixYa.com/support/t256468-computer_doesnt_recognize_mp3_player

One of the suggestions was to install the Media Player version 11.  I wasn't going to, but...  I did and now the Sansa Clip + Monte!

Let's say it's resolved.

Also, what is your level of service current pack (start-run then type Winver, and then press enter)? If you have no current service pack level, you must first install SP2. Unfortunately, the link for that

I have a Tecra 9000 in very good condition, until yesterday, I have no problem!
After updating my Windows XP service pack 2 on the "service pack 3", everything works fine but when I press the button 'TOSHIBA controls' and 'mouse' for setting, Windows error message occure: "run a dll as an app"!

My driver for mouse is "Logitech mouse ware, 9.40! Can you help me?

This oldie works well with Windows XP SP2 home edition and in my opinion you should use without SP3. Try to remove the SP3, and I hope that everything will work properly again. Problem is that the old tools and utilities designed for Toshiba probably aren't tested and updated to SP3.

I have more Satellite M70 and use sill with SP3. I don't want to risk anything and have problems.

I think you should check the drivers in Device Manager.

The error message tells me that "a USB device has exceeded the limits of its hub port power.

I have nothing connected to one of the USB ports

I talked to guys tech at length to Toshiba, but they can't seem to explain or correct the problem - a same thought it could be a motherboard problem, but cut which like the timing is too coincidental to be something other than the upgrade of the BIOS.

If anyone knows a fix, so I would be grateful - is - it possible to find a previous BIOS and roll back from 5.20

I guess if it's the BIOS, then when they deliver another it will correct itself?

    Hello Phil

Maybe again the stupid question, but I also want to know why you made the decision to do the BIOS update? Is there a particular reason or you just want to have laptop with the latest version of the BIOS.

  • Driver for Keysight 34461 A DMM instruments works with GPIB, errors with USB

The pilot of the aircraft works like a charm the DMM is connected via GPIB, but it error when connected via USB.  I've isolated the problem to "Default Instrument Setup.vi".  When this VI is called in the case of USB, the device is left in a State which translates by a later call a time-out at VISA Read.  The only way I found to get the instrument still talking after this occurs error condition is turned off.  I have an another 34461a with the same behavior, is probably not a hardware problem.  I can successfully run the example 'Agilent 3446 X series Acquire Single.vi' via USB if I remove all calls to "Default Instrument Setup.vi.

  • Error-200077, USB-6008, deterministic application

    Hello

I acquire and generate analog signals using a device USB 6008 to achieve control of feedback. I use a loop of simulation to generate the output of the controller, so need to synchronize signals input/output with the calculation software. I have the following questions:

    1. when I use a sample for the analog output clock, I get an error (-200077). What is the cause of this error and are there solutions?

    2. what values of step size and calendar period (simulation loop settings) should I use to ensure that determinism?

    Your comments are appreciated.

    Thank you.

The 6008 doesn't have a clock output. It's software timed and so not deterministic.

I have a permanent error on my computer and when I run the troubleshooter I get the above message.  It says Windows cannot load the driver.

    Hello

USB devices remove all you can - restart the computer - is still there, the error? If it isn't
It is related to one of the add-in devices that you removed. If she is still there, then, the question is
either a device internal who can not remove or physically with the USB bus itself.
If it was not there, add devices at a time until it is displayed - keep in mind that it is
possible that there are two (or more) devices in conflict over the issue. Once you
identified the check of the aircraft with the help of the manufacturer.

    1. to find the control panel - device - device - right-click on it - uninstall - Manager then
Restart the computer to see if it clears.

    2. same place - double click on the device - driver tab - driver update - to see if that helps.

    3. check with the support of system manufacturer (manufacturer of motherboard for customized systems), their
online documentation and drivers, diagnostics and ask questions in their forums on all known
questions. Update the Bios and chipset or other USB drivers.

  • error of USB hub

    Hello

I've upgraded to windows 7 on my Pavilion dv7-2180us a few months past without any problems and things worked really well since then.

Last night, however, I started having errors on the usb port.

If I open the Device Manager, it gives me a list of USB devices are working properly, and then lists "unknown device".

If I go to properties it says that it is the standard USB host controller and gives this message:

Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)

I've upgraded to the latest Windows hotfix. I have re-downloaded & installed the drivers from the chipset intel from this site and I still get the error.

I checked the event log, but there is no error reported.

Two USB ports are now does not work.

It could be a hardware problem, it could be a driver problem or it could be something to do with other software I have installed...

Any ideas how I can limit?

    Thank you

    -kevin

It actually turned to be annoyingly easy.

I finally managed to find a web post where someone had the same problem. Taking their suggestion, I turned off the laptop, he unplugged and took out the battery for a few minutes. Then restarted and... * ding *... works very well.

Seems there is a capacitor on the usb controller which must accumulate a load to deodorize the parameters. And unless empty you the load completely from the map, they can get corrupted. As I rarely turn off my cell phone, it never gets drained. I had turned to bike a few times since the problem, but never taken from the battery.

I am pleased, it's a simple solution, but I must admit to being a little disappointed by that.  Seems like that should fall into the category 'you should not do. "

    * shrug *.

Maybe this will help someone else, at least.

  • Disk full error but USB drive has enough free space

I am trying to copy a file to a USB flash drive even if the drive is empty when I try to copy the file, I get an error message telling me that the disk is full.  The file is 8GB and the drive is 32 GB, so there is plenty of room.  How to fix this?

Most of the USB flash drives are formatted with the FAT32 file system.  This file system cannot store any single file larger than 4 GB. You will need to reformat the NTFS-formatted flash drive to store an 8 GByte file.  (Attention: save all the files on the drive before reformatting).
