  In looking at RSOP (resultant set of policy) shows that the local and domain administrator users have full control over these files. I tried this using the two connections to user with the same result.

• OfficeJet 8620: Error using scan to network folder - although the EWS test demonstrates the success

  I have configured the 8620 via the integrated Web server for scanning to \ \Scans < ip address of my macbook > the 'test' function's successful return.  However, when I run a scan to network folder in the control panel of the printer, I get the error: "cannot write in------< ip address > \Scans.» Destination folder is read-only, has the wrong permissions, or is no longer available. "I don't see how that's possible given the test of EWS.  I confirmed that the file is read-write for all.

  I see that you have taken the lead and sent the scan to network folder problem you encounter as you mentioned that you on your previous post. I'd be happy to help you with this also.

  Please use the following document to ensure you have the analysis of the configuration of the network folder correctly; Scan from the control panel (including the Scan to Email, in PDF format, and to a network folder) for Printer series e-all-in-one HP Officejet Pro 8610, 8620, 8630, 8640, and 8660.

  Please also ensure you have the latest update of the firmware for the printer; Update of the Firmware 8620/8625 e-all-in-one printer Officejet Pro HP.

  I'm trying to connect to Skype by using our business e-mail address that uses Windows Live Custom Domain service. After be identified using the link "Sign in with a Microsoft account", the usual "create an account or connect" appears, but two options ("I have a Skype account" and "I am new to Skype") leads to the following error after clicking 'Join Skype': 'there is a problem of signing with Microsoft account. Please try again or connect with Skype details rather than this'. I tried with the two Skype Desktop and on the Web.

  Well, I managed to make it work by creating a new Skype account with the same email as my Microsoft Account address.

• Got the error using recovery disk to reinstall Windows 7

  I write this cause maybe it could be useful to someone in the same situation I was.

  After the events of my Z930, I decided to reinstall my laptop to the State of Out-Of-Box. In my first time I got an error, that I didn't understand, so I did on the second attempt:

  1 extract in the Bios and set the COMMAND SATA COMPATIBILITY MODE
  2 erase all SSD, data, partitions, sectors... etc ALL

  The second attempt was successful!

  Usually if the problem is option SATA solution should not be the BIOS option change but load SATA driver before Win7 installation begins. With SATA option enabled (no compatibility mode) HARD drive works correctly and with maximum efficiency.

  Your solution is just solution and a sort of temporary solution.

  Try to copy in memory USB, using Recovery Media Creator, original image from the Pc; just in case of future problems, I get this message: error 040 EAE-02-000000000.

  Have you tried another USB key? The stick is probably defective, so the recovery media can t create successfully.

  Also format the stick before using the recovery media creator.

• Satellite A200-1AI (PSAECE) error using Toshiba Disc Creator

  I have an A200-1AI (PSAECE) running Windows 7 Ultimate 64 - Bit with 3 GB of RAM and a TEAC DV-W28ECT Combi drive...

  Whenever I try to create a CD/DVD or anytype of media using Disc Creator, I get the error messages 6 or more: -.

  An unexpected error has occurred.
  32007C-26-00000001

  This error message appears 6 times, when I run the software and select Audio or data.
  Then the window file transfer normal 6 tracking software-related the same error messages and the software is unable to burn anything... When the software is closed, it does so with 6 error messages more before closing...

  The laptop is installed with Vista 32 bit and I formatted the computer before installing Windows 7 64 bit as a clean install...
  There were no problems at any time during this process, the laptop infact has been better than ever... so far :)

  I already had 10 Roxio installed in my burning software, but I couldn't get along with it if he took off for Toshiba Disc Creator (as it's FREE!)
  Media Player and Windows itself also consumes CD ok...

  I can provide more information if necessary.

  I checked the European driver of Toshiba page and there is nothing in the box Satellite A200.

  In my view, the error message is displayed because you use software that is not compatible with Windows 7 installed.

• Remove the error using iPhoto 08 and iPhone

  I use iPhoto 08 to import my pictures from my iPhone 5s.

  I just started getting this error...

  I didn't use to get this error and was able to remove them after you import?

  It is an iPhone5s.

• Definition of FD CAN baud rate gives the error (using samples of C)

  I use C for XNET "FD CAN Frame Input Stream" samples where I put the valid values of "nxPropSession_IntfCanFdBaudRate" between 1000000-8000000. (according to http://www.ni.com/pdf/manuals/372840k.pdf#page=983)

  NOR-XNET status: NOR-XNET: baud rate (Hex 0x3FF63040) The FD CAN you provided is beyond the capability of the manufacturer of the specified transmitter/receiver. In our internal testing, we found this baud rate to run, but bus errors may be detected or generated during communication. See the Presentation of the material NOR-XNET CAN section in the software and manual equipment OR XNET for more information.

  I have a loop back configuration with a PCI card with 2 ports.

  It is a warning and not an error to inform you that you may be exceeding the capacity of the physical hardware. While the FD CAN protocol supports very fast transfer speeds, none of the manufacturers transcevier still created talkies that they ensure that all transfer speeds. Talk to them, the number one problem was do an EMC low enough to run in the vehicles. They tend to be actually able to follow the signaling rate.

  Therefore, we allow you to use NOR-XNET to communicate to a wide range of transmission speeds, but sound you the alarm if you are exceeding the rates allowed by the manufacturer. For most use cases, this can be ignored safetly.

  FYI, what baud rate you try to run to?

• Error using an executable file and Excel 97

  I have a program that writes a file samples periodically (a specific) Excel, the program works fine when I run LabVIEW, but when I try to do the same thing with an executable built with report generation tool it opens for awhile without any Excel sheet, the file is closed and the executable generates the following error ' ': Error 97 "in a system error unknown whole cell Value.vi-> test.vi", can someone please tell me what is causing this error and how to fix it? Thank you.

  I use LabVIEW 8.6 and Excel 2007.

• Can we average channel error using multiple channels to measure the same voltage?

  I don't know how correlated error terms are between measuring channels max, but it occurred to me that, if they were relatively independent, I might be able to sample the signal even with several channels and increase accuracy.

  For example, rather than measure a voltage with an AI only at 100 kHz, I could connect up to 10 different lines to HAVE the signal, sample to 10 kHz on each line.  This should allow to reach me on average some of the error associated with each channel (, or so I think).

  Can someone speak definitively to this?

  Well, if you are using a MULTIPLEXED Board (everything is not specced for simultaneous sampling) then each channel is connected to the ADC even one after the other, best that you would be able to do is extremely, extremely small variations into the paths of each channel of the multiplexer.  This would still be massively overshadowed by the inherent noise from the system and the accuracy of the device.

  Your best bets to reduce the measurement error is to oversample in one way to reduce the effects of noise and to calibrate the unit before starting each test to keep variations of temperature.  In addition, make sure you keep your calibrated Board (most of the boards have a calibration 1 year of the cycle).

  For some applications, you should also consult wiring field and considerations of noise for analog signals, How to eliminate ghosting of my measurements? and Troubleshooting unexpected tensions, floating or crosstalk on Analog Input Channels to better account for ghosting and the issues of the hour.

• Error: using a bow instead of a refnum

  Hi, I have a basic question. I plugged the 2 terminals of the same type (e/s FPGA), however, I get an error (I have attached a screenshot). The source is an FPGA of IO from a node and the sink came FPGA of e/s of a FPGA Read/Write.vi. The terminals are of the same type; Why do I get an error? Connect a refnum at the vi does not cause an error. Why?

  The problem is not the node against refnum, this is the channel you have selected.  In the picture in your initial post, show you the node IO SEO Module1/DIO2 and refnum Port8/DIO0 SEO.  These channels may not support the same set of methods.  According to the e/s node name control FPGA configuration (FPGA Module) (sorry for the link broken in the previous post), "when you use a control FPGA IO as input on a Subvi, entry accepts only the I/O that support a superset of the methods and properties that you enable for the FPGA i/o control.".  You can configure the properties that are needed by right-clicking on the control on the front of the Subvi and choosing "Configure IO Type."  If you eliminate the methods or properties that are supported only by Port8/DIO0, you should be able to connect successfully to the Module1/DIO2 even a knot of IO.

• DAQmx 201105 error using the cDAQ 9403 module

  I'm using the DAQmx C library of Borland Delphi programming.  My hardware configuration is a cDAQ-9174/9178 with a 9222, 9401 and 9403 module.  Here's where I manage problems at the moment:

  I want to run three different tasks on my 9403 module:

  Task1 is an output buffered with frame sample clock/cDAQ1/do/SampleClockTimebase to 100 kHz (channel 0-5)

  Task2 is a software-timed output (20-25 channels)

  Task3 is a timed software entry (channels 26-31)

  Task2 and Task3 me give 201105 errors when I try to use DAQmxWriteDigitalLines and DAQmxReadDigitalLines, respectively.  Create channels for these tasks works very well, however.  Apparently, there is some reason to believe that the 9403 won't perform Task1, except that it works without raising errors.  This work by accident and only because I am using channels 0-5?  That's why I'm getting errors when trying to use the tasks 2 and 3?

  Any thoughts are appreciated.

  This is expected behavior and is documented in the digital i/o considerations for devices of the series C using DAQmx.

  The 9403 is registered has a series module that has the following restrictions:

  • You may not use modules series and parallel together on the same task timed material.
  • You may not use modules series for the trigger.
  • You can do static and timed tasks at the same time on a single serial module.
  • You cannot material timing in one direction at a time on a module in the two-way series.

  You can do task 1, or you can do tasks 2 and 3.  You can not do the tasks 1, 2 and 3 together, as you saw.  You can do it with an additional 9403 if you move the software tasks timed to the other module.

  The 9401 is a parallel module that does not have these restrictions.  Snacking is configurable, however, which means that you must set the direction in groups of 4, but it seems that you are using too many lines for a single 9401.

• HP C7280 All in One printer: HP Scan of the error using HP C7280 all-in-one printer

  I was scanning documents successfully until recently.  I use a Mac with OS X 10.7.5 and receive the following error message when you use HP Scan.

  Cannot perform the analysis because another program has control of the HP imaging device. Try the following steps. After each step, try to scan the image.

  -Restart the program.

  -Close all programs that might be using the device.

  -Restart the computer.

  I tried to download several drivers without success.

  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  Welcome to the Forums of HP Support! I see when you try to scan with your HP Photosmart C7280 with your Mac running the 10.7 operating system, you get an error "cannot perform the analysis because another program has control of the HP imaging device. Try the following steps. After each step, try to scan the image.'.

  Complete the following steps:

  Scrub / uninstall

  • Open the Applications folder > folder HP or Hewlett Packard > Uninstall HP
  • Click continue, click on one of the printers in the list.
  • * Only perform this step if you have not all other HP printers. Hold down the command, Option , and command, while now the three buttons.
  • Click on Uninstall.

  Reset the printing system

  1. click on the Apple icon ( ), then click on System Preferences.

  2. in the hardware section, click Print & Fax/scanning. The Print & Fax/scanning dialog box opens.

  3. make a right click (or Ctrl + click) in the left panel and then click on reset printing system...

  4. click on OK to confirm the reset.

  5 type the name and the correct password.

  6. click OK to reset the printing system. The Print & Fax dialog box shows any selected printer

  Note: This will remove all printers in the print and Fax/Scan, any printer deleted can be re-added later by clicking the sign plus (+) symbol...

  Repair disk permissions

  1. on the Dock, click Applications, then utilities.

  2. double-click click disk utility.

  3. highlight your hard drive / partition on the left (by default this is "Macintosh HD").

  4. click on the button to repair disk permissions at the bottom of the window.

  5. once the repair is complete, restart the computer.

  Restart the printer. Now, you will need to install the printer driver using the Apple updates. Click on the link below and follow the instructions on the screen:
