  Hi there everyone,

  So I'll be quick on my problem to go straight to the point. I installed Windows 8 to Dreamspark to try to update my system, may be faster. After the installation of the OS, I had problems after problems, including performance was extremely terrible!

  So I used my restore DVD to return to Windows 7 Pro. Now, I've updated all my drivers Lenovo Web sites and Intel, that not all drivers Lenovo has seemed to work.

  I never noticed before, but my light optical (digital sound, the red one on the side 3.5 mm plug right hand) is still on. IM pretty good with computers, but nothing that I don't seem to turn it off. Is it supposed to be on? Seems rather pointless if its still on.

  I guess I'm looking for assistance on this topic. I tried to disable the hardware, change of drivers... Ideas now. Any help is appreciated.

  I managed to get the drivers to work. I was about to try to install the drivers manually, but then I got the idea to try the XP drivers. BAM, they worked. I have no idea why XP drivers worked, but the pilots of 7 or 8 do not have.

  I just upgraded to cs4 CS5 and I discovered that won´t cs5 allow me to something that has to do with the quicktime codec. I tried to make some mov files h.265 but seconds after I started to the make I got an error message (error code:-1610153464), after flows having failed to render a mov cs5 refuses to read mov files in my project or and refused to import other mov files so that I had to restart the program. I get a message saying that the "MooV" file is probably corrupted. I tried every mov. Codec and lots of mov. the files that I had, to exclude the possibility that this has to do with one of my mov. I used files. CS4 has absolutely no problem, the same files of reading or rendering of the mov files. Rendering view, tiff-sequences etc. in cs5 works very well.

  I already tried to reinstall cs5, but still have the error message.

  The system is OS X 10.6.3 on an iMac i7. (Sequel to the German Production of Adobe)

  Had the same mistakes. I think I found the solution. Eruptions optical video it s CoPilot´s Plugin. Go to http://www.videocopilot.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=37748 and ask the last construction of optical flares. Hope that helps.

  I have a HP wireless mouse, model No. MG-0856, on which the left button of the mouse became capricious recently, which is probably just due to dirt on the contacts. I can hear the clicking noise, but the object is not enabled (no contact of the switch), or a "double click" occurred (rebound probably due to dirt or oxidation).

  That the warranty is over, how can I remove the mouse so I can access the Microswitch? I removed the screws in the battery compartment, but it did not help. Is there a screw hidden somewhere or do I have to use force?

  Sorry, that the original message was not clear (paste copy error among others). It is now published. It is not a software or an optical problem. It is the left button switch which must be cleaned or replaced. Once I removed the screws in the compartment battery, how can I open the case of mouse to access this switch? (Hidden screw? Plastic brackets?)

  I have CS4, but I was reading an old book by the Meyers, create Motion Graphics with AE flight 1. the essential (© 2004).  On the DVD, they have a few free Plugins - by various manufacturers.  In the chapter projects that they mention that some of the plugins work better than those provided in the EI program (i.e. AE version 6.5) because I like the idea of having more toys to play with, of course, I want to have them at my disposal in AE CS4

  However when I placed the where the factory designated (AE Plug - in the folder) and open lessons AE of the book, I get the message that the plugin is missing.

  I was wonder 2 things.

  It is likely that the plugins are so old that they are simply not compatible and therefore do not appear in CS4;  and

  Since CS4 is more recent than when the book was written and those 5 years made plugins, it is also highly likely that AE now comes with plug-ins that are better than one of those old freebies and/or the features of the AE has improved so that those plug - are obsolete.

  For example WE premultiply was supposed to be good by knocking out a solid black color when you use it for a stray light or other lighting effect.  Is it possible that now in CS4 the "Multiply" blending mode is much better and that's why a plug-in like prémultiplier US is useless.

  I am new to AE with CS4 (2009) so I have no reference to compare to.

  The gifts are: Boris Continuum Complete, DigiEffects Delirium (fireworks and OF Glower), Digital Anarchy text display, digital tools (WarmCool), red giant (IT Alpha ramp), The Foundry (T LensBlur) and effects of Walker (prémultiplier US)

  Finally, install one of these old effects eventually would lead to conflicts and accidents.

  You are right that the old AE 6.5 plugins are just too old for CS4 compatibility.  Note that even now we all get around the fact that CS4 plugins do not work in CS5!

  There are a number of ways to unmultiply / prémultipliez layers.  I usually precompose the layer in question, then duplicate the layer of precomp-ed and assign it as Luminance cache by approach to the first.

  The most common third eruptions optical Lens Flare Plugins Red Giant Knoll Lens Flare and video of the first officer, both have unmult capabilities built into them, that's why many plugins to standalone unmult have not been updated in recent years.

  But Red Giant Software still offer a free version of UnMult.  It is labeled as AE 7 compatible - you could try and see if it works in 6.5.

• Optical USB mouse problem with Portege R100 on windows XP

  We have three laptops Toshiba Portege R100 currently giving problems with mouse optical usb from Toshiba.

  When starting the laptop, that the mouse is not recognized by windows. Before and after will be identified in the mouse will not respond while Burns led.

  I have a beautiful Equium L350 which I use for very basic tasks such as e-mail and internet shopping.
  I'm an absolute fool when it's nothing technical, even remotely.

  However, I bought this laptop in May last of PC World, Cardiff and were very happy until a few weeks ago when I went to use the 'optical driver' (thing stick you a disc in?) for the first time.
  My daughter had a Barbie MP3 player for her birthday and I was trying to download all the relevant stuff from the disk, and nothing happened.
  I don't know from reading this that you can see how hopeless, I am!

  I have assumed that I was doing something wrong, until a colleague told me that he had the same problem with their Toshiba last year and there was a problem with the optical driver.
  In any case, for 3 weeks, I have been ringing Toshiba trying to get some help.
  I'm losing the will to live!

  I'm put on hold each one each time for more than 20 minutes at a time.
  I haven't talked to anyone! I sent (no reply!) and PC World have been just as useless as telling me that I need to contact Toshiba direct.

  Did anyone have a number for them to the United Kingdom for service / warranty repairs / help of any kind! I love the machine, but the lack of customer service is soul destroying! I would be so grateful for any kind of comments!

• Problems with QE65000 and optical driver Océna spectrometer

  Hi, a few months ago, I installed the driver to use the spectrometers of USB4000, HR4000 and QE65000 with LabVIEW 2010 with Windows 7 - x 64.   I'm glad to hear that you were able to access the files. The only thing I can think in light of what you posted is to check to make sure that you have updated drivers optical drive on your computer. To do this, I would recommend running the HP Support Assistant to update all your drivers HP and to ensure that you have completed all your Windows updates as well.

• Am having problems with my new mouse Microsoft Wireless Optical 2000

  I received it with new batteries and it seemed a bit so twitchy.  So I replaced the batteries - the same brand, also the new batteries... and it seemed to fix.  He runs so much better and moving more enjoyable.  But it seems that I need to replace the batteries every day.  It is already to be tense again and I have replaced the batteries and it fixed again.

• problem with optical drive DVD

  I installed a new optical drive and I can't seem to use several DVD discs. It will install the first but does not install any more wide. Sometimes diving keeps opening and closing of the drive.

  Device Manager displays the driver for TS-H653R but optical device signals the driver to be SH-224DB_Sb00/1

  How do I get the machine to use the correct driver or is this really the problem.

• Problem of wireless optical mouse.

  I have two problems with wireless optical mouse opportunities now encountered on my computer laptop windows 7, they will no longer work correctly on this laptop, tested both on another computer and they worked very well. The first time it happened with the mouse 1 it has been installed correctly and completely, the Device Manager also confirms, the issue that happened after I removed the usb receiver to move my laptop (done this before without problems) when I reinserted the receiver and turned on the mouse the mouse was completely insensitive. I changed batteries, uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers and still the same result, tried the mouse and the receiver on another computer and it worked fine.

  I then used a wireless mouse that worked well backup up to now and I'm having exactly the same problem after exactly in the same circumstances. A mouse by logitech and the other an i.t.works (ironically)

  I am confused now and any help would be appreciated as my computer laptop touchpad died a few months ago and not worth having repaired or replaced. I'll try and answer any questions you have for me better than I can.

  Correction of a problem. uninstalled all drivers mouse number two and reinstalled four times... Fourth time that the mouse works fine. I will try a number of mice when I get my hands on it. Must have been a problem with the driver moved.

  Here's what I'm trying to fix it but ended up with saying it was installing the device, installation failed and getting the error failed and unrecognized again...

  • Plug my optical mouse on my other ports and it works perfectly fine (to see if its working)
  • Plug the mouse (in the wrong port), went to Device Manager and uninstall the unknown device, reboot with usb plug in and have the connection to the internet (not decided)
  • Uninstall all devices under USB bus controllers in the Manager device and rebooted with mouse in internet connection (not decided)
  • Went to device manager expanded bus controllers USB right-click on power management all the device label "usb root hub" click and uncheck the box "allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" and reboot (do not set)
  • Open the normal startup in msconfig (system configuration) selected and restarted (did not set)
  • Shut down the computer, disconnect the plug, unplug all the devices connected to all IO ports (usb port specifically) and my desktop pc has left alone for an hour and a half and start it to the top after with everything back plug (mouse in the wrong port) (has not set)

  Note: when the mouse is connected to the usb port it is light on substance, but its does not (not flashing do not and when you move, mouse is frozen on the monitor)
