• Question about importing video footage in Premiere Pro

  I'm new to Premiere Pro and have a question about it. I need to move all my videos on my new computer (Windows) from my old computer (iMac running iMovie). Where should I store my images so I can access inside Premiere Pro? I just need to store everything on a hard drive, and then create inside Premiere Pro projects when I need to import images in, or should I create a 'library' to store all my movies in? Setup bridge would be another beneficial way to view my videos (I use Lightroom for my photo library)? I'm just trying to discern the way I need to store and organize everything in order to get started with Premiere Pro. Thank you!

  Premiere Pro has no capability of database for the media in general, only in a specific project. 'Import' is not like in Lightroom, it does in PrPro is tell her where to look for the media while working on this specific project.

  So... you need create your materials on a particular disc, presented in a way that you can find them in a folder structure you design.

  A typical use of PrPro spreads parts on several disks. OS/programs on the system drive, a disk each cache PrPro & cache of database files; preview files; and project files. Media probably on another drive and exports on a final drive.

  Access the disk cache & cache database files, preview files and project files are the two ways of reading & writing, in addition to being constant. Multimedia files are used unalterable and exports only Scripture, their connections can be a little less robust.

  We have a production cluster CUCM 8.6 running.

  I was asked to create models of translation of 300-400.

  I see that I can not do this directly through bat. But I can't see the import/export option.

  We have 1000's of existing patterns of translation on our system.

  I have a small question about the import feature.

  A new import overwrites existing data in the database that contains the data in the import file or because the new data in the import file added to the existing data.

  If the import file has only the new models of translation, it will eliminate the existing patterns of translation in the system?

  I don't have a system of cucm lab to verify this behavior?

  Can you please help me on this query?

  I often do and it's the only way to bulk add translation models. It removes all the reasons for translation it will only add/edit the translation model. If all the new models it will simply add your new entries.

  Hi can someone explain me how the WLC (4402) decides which server to use for AAA?

  I have two servers set up as servers AAA, one with an index of 1 server and the other with an index of 2

  Index 1 = x.x.x.70

  Index 2 = x.x.x.38

  AAA of one of my wireless networks tab I listed them as:

  Server 1 = x.x.x.38

  Server 2 = x.x.x.70

  This is the Index number that is the deciding factor? What is the order in which they are listed AAA tab in wlan config page?

  There are two ways to set the priority of the Radius server. If you have servers Radius defined under the WLAN will serve first of all the server defined as server 1, Server 2 will be used then, and so forth. If you do not have the Radius servers, listed under the WLAN, they will be used in the order that they appear in the global configuration (index).

  Backup RADIUS configuration will come also into play.  If you have RADIUS rescue disabled when the Radius primary server goes down the startup using secondary controller, but it goes back to primary school up until high school fails or the controller is restarted. If you have activated the controller will start using the primary server when it becomes available again.

  So, in addition to my head, these are the things that are coming...

  Can you please check the logs failed on the server to make sure that there are not all messages concerning requests for the controller?  May be that the shared secret key is not matching or the controller is not defined in the server.

  Even try to ping the server of WLC and see the connectivity...

  or even...

  check if there is no firewall problem between the WLC and the RADIUS server.

• Question on import of foreign records - Win 7 Pro

  Hello, I have two RAID-1 arrays on my computer (2 discs) and suddenly (perhaps because the registry change), they appear as "Foreign" and are not accessible.

  I see (and I read on) the function "Import foreign disks", but when I select it among the readers, it is said there are FOUR disks in the group.  I expected to find two disks in the Group and then I would click on "Import" one drive in the other group, and he looks as two drives it.
  So - is it normal to import all disks at the same time, but I'll still end up with two separate "readers"?  (If not, I could easily enough disconnect two discs).
  And Windows will automatically which discs go in what table?
  It is a totally 'safe', or should I worry about losing all my data?

• Question about importing the roles of users through LCM HSS 11.1.2.1 MSAD

  We use Hyperion Planning version 11.1.2.1. I tried to export user and group provisioning to prod environment and migrate there in the dev environment.

  The following steps have been

  1 open Hyperion Shared Services Console

  2 expanded Application groups

  3. scope of the Foundation

  4. click on Shared Services. I got a list of artifact on a new tab on the right side of the screen

  5 expanded native Directory. Some groups (Checked), roles and users

  6 click on define Migration and then did then, then, then on the following screens until I got a popup asking to "run the Migration.

  7 enforce Migration, I received a folder created under admin@NativeDirectory with 2 subfolders (info and resources)

  I saw 3 csv files is created - Groups.csv, Roles.csv and Users.csv.

  Groups.csv contains all the groups and users in each group.

  Users.csv contains all the users belonging to the Native directory

  Roles.csv was surprisingly an empty file (don't know why)

  My question is

  1. how to export that 'Aboriginal group' has been implemented to what roles?

  2. how to export what Directory user external user (i.e. MSAD) has been put into service for what role?

  I need to import roles provided to the 'MSAD users' and 'Indigenous' of Prod to Dev env env. Since I'm not able to export to MSAD user roles and groups... I don't know how to do in this regard. Please help me with this. Thanks in advance.

  I have a few questions about this, and I would really appreciate your input gtting. (I also posted this question on this page, but I don't know if it was the right place...)

  1. that means 'otherwise, Lightroom treats the JPEG in doubles as a file? The JPEG format is not available at all in these circumstances? What can I do with this file "jpeg"? Is located in the same folder as the RAW images?

  2. my understanding is that the JPEG image contains the treatment unit (e.g., Vivid, sharpning, etc.); When I import pictures from my Nikon (NEF) raw, LR does not apply to these parameters, and the image I see in LR is * really * gross (i.e., bland and "free upgrades").  If I shoot and bring in JPEG and RAW, LR is it possible to have LR somehow automatically "make RAW image look like the JPEG?

  (1) No, it simply as an initial overview.  LR replaces this overview as soon as it renderes its own.

  (2) the profiles are already built for Nikon and Canon.  Look in the calibration Panel in the develop module.

• I am running LR3 on Win 7 x 64. I have a few questions.

  1. I have a hard drive that is assigned to the drive letter "B:\. "Why the import file does not see this disc in the list of drives? I use "other readers" and to travel whenever I want add files to this disk. Other readers, including network drives are very good.
  2. When you import from a main folder and including subfolders, is there a way to filter the files in any way? Never, I want to import web galleries that I made in bridge, for example. These files have very small files JPG, thumbnails and web images. Is it possible to exclude consideration of form, while importers? Is there a way to reveal and display thumbnails with the folder structure? I don't want to have to go to each folder individually when I try to import all the useful images from an entire drive. If LR would show at least the structure of folders to subfolders when you select photos in a top-level folder, that would help. How can I do this?
  3. In the library folders view, how to filter on all the files in one disc? I can select a folder in the disc and see this whole file, but LR does not allow me to select the entire disk. Is there a way to do this?

You can uncheck the checkmarks next to folders in the Destination Panel on the right side of the import dialog box.

You cannot select the disk, but you can select "All photos" at the top of the left panel. You can also shift-click all the top-level folders under a volume to select them all.

4. How can I view the entire folder structure in the laibrary Panel? Some files do not display their top-level folders that they are inside. How to reveal this information?

Right click on the folder that is currently higher level in your folder pane and select 'Add parents' until you are satisfied with the hierarchy. When you reach the parent level you want, you can click the folder parent for select you all files of a certain drive, as you asked the question #3.

• Need help with corrections of order import

  Hi Ganapathi,

  have you disabled the 'Error' indicator on the folder you want to import before clicking on "validate". You will find it under the 'Status' tab where you clear the box check and save before you try to validate or simply import!

  Can you please help me to understand the relationship between the customer number and the related SHIP_TO and address org_id. My understanding is that the address and SHIP_TO org_ids correspond to the party_site_numbers. But he does not seem to be the case.

  They do not concern the site numbers or IDs. They are uses of site for the customer account.

  where a.invoice_to_org_Id = b.site_use_id

  and d.party_id = e.party_id;

  Similarly to ship you use code use as SHIP_TO. I might have a few typos in the columns, but will give you an idea.
