    We have Windows 2003 server where active directory is installed and used as a domain controller, we also have another server where our web timesheet application developed in .net is installed.

    What we would like to do is before any user logs on his computer that he must complete the timesheet of the yestarday, if there already fillied timesheets can log or the system must raise message to fill the first timesheet. UserCan bypass the timesheet for max 3 days after that the system does not allow the user to log on to the field and exhausted once the time sheets he can log.

    access to the application of the timesheet using ipaddress with connection by port.

    It is just a bit beyond, issues of the support that we offer in these forums, because we support the public versions of Windows and their security.  I suggest you post this kind of question in the forums TechNet (http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-us/categories), as this is where people from Active Directory and the server will be found.

  • How to get the host name of the physical computer inside a virtual machine until the user logs in Windows?

    I don't know if this is the right place to post this question, I develop software to support VMWare PCoIP and need to know how to get the host name of the physical machine (which manages the virtual machine and View Client) within a virtual machine before the user logs in Windows of the virtual machine.

    I understand there are two ways to read the host name, via the HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Volatile Environment registry and environment variables, but they are available once the user is connected. I need info before the user connects.

    Is there a VMware API that can be called or asked the host name?

    Thank you.

    Not on the broker, but there are the startup scripts to log on to the computer virtual itself: http://pubs.vmware.com/view-52/topic/com.vmware.view.integration.doc/view_integration_startsession_script.9.2.html

    Note that these executed when a virtual desktop computer allocated connection, not to the point that the client connects - it is possible for the customer to not complete the connection (crash, cancel, network failure) and so any what solution you design must handle this.

  • Impossible to establish a VPN connection with a router configured as a Cisco server using client VPN 5.0.00.0340

    Hei guys,.

    Please help me on this one because I'm stuck enough on her...

    I am trying to connect to a Cisco 3700 router configured as a VPN server by using a VPN client and the VPN connection does not settle.

    This is an extract from the log:

    130 12:48:30.585 07/01/11 Sev = Info/5 IKE / 0 x 63000001

    SEND to > ISAKMP OAK INFO (NOTIFY: INVALID_HASH_INFO) for 200.100.50.173

    I enclose the whole journal extract... The message "BOLD" is quite obvious, you mean, but I'm 100% sure, in the login entry, I typed correctly the group password: pass

    My topology is very basic, as I am setting this up only to get a clue of the operation of the Cisco VPN. It is built in GNS3:
    -2 3700 routers: one of them holds the configuration of the VPN server and the other would be the ISP through which the remote worker would try to establish a VPN connection. I am also attaching the configuration file for the router configured as a VPN router.

    Behind the second router there is a virtual XP machine on which I have installed VPN client...

    My connection entry in the customer is to have the following parameters:
    Host: 200.100.50.173 , //which is the IP address of the VPNServer
    Authentication-> authentication-> name group: grup1 password: pass / / I'm quite positive that I typed the correct password... even if the log messages are linked to a misidentification.

    I use public addresses only, because I noticed there is a question about behind the NAT VPN connections and is not not very familiar to the NAT.

    Another aspect which can be of any importance is that "allow Tunneling of Transport" in the tab Transport to the input connection is disabled

    and the VPNServer router logs the following error message when you try to establish the connection:

    * 01:08:47.147 Mar 1: % CRYPTO-6-IKMP_NOT_ENCRYPTED: IKE 200.100.50.34 package was not encrypted and it should have been.
    * 01:08:47.151 Mar 1: % CRYPTO-6-IKMP_NOT_ENCRYPTED: IKE 200.100.50.34 package was not encrypted and it should have been.

    You have no idea why I can't connect? Y at - it something wrong with my configuration of VPN server... or with the connection entry in the VPN client?

    Thank you

    Iulia

    Depending on the configuration of the router, the group name is grup1 and the password is baby.

    You also lack the ipsec processing game that you would need to apply to the dynamic map.

    Here is an example configuration for your reference:

    Hope that helps.

  • I'm having a problem when I try to establish a VPN connection

    I have a problem when I try to establish a VPN connection between a remote computer and my desktop computer that we use as a file server in our network of workplaces. It has a static IP address. The VPN connection was working until the person on the other side you have forgotten the password. We decided to set up a new connection with the new user name and password. The remote computer could not establish a VPN connection with the server, but when the person on the other side tried to open the files, she received a message indicating there is no permission to do so. I can't understand how to give the person permission to open folders. Can anyone help?

  • VPN connection before user logon in the domain environment

    I took a huge project, but managed to set up a comprehensive network for an organization not-for-profit.  Is only a single obstacle, but the answer is completely referring me.
    I installed a Windows 7 Ultimate in a test environment.  The server is standard 2012 and are located off site.  I have configured VPN and can connect, but remains one of the limitations...
    THE SITUATION
    ... the computer, I am preparing in aura production environment users and will be on the field.  They have shut down the computer during the night and on weekends.  During my tests, I found that VPN will NOT connect automatically.  I don't want a users to this remote location with access to the local office any longer.  Everyone must sign their credentials of domain only, and I'll be locking the local office with identifying information has changed.
    With the help of Google, I found several ways to automate so-called VPN connection, but every article I've read so far says that it happens as a script at logon Windows.  Who defeated the purpose here.  I wish the VPN to be connected at startup, BEFORE the opening of the session, so that users can sign on the field immediately after the power of the computer.  I had considered just giving a directive to leave the PC on 24/7, but in case of crash or regular updates of Windows, which would put us back to the start.
    DEMAND
    Can I do so that the VPN connects automatically TO a user on a desktop computer log?
    THE SPECS
    The clients are on Windows 7 Ultimate Edition
    Connection VPN set up in windows (no third party software)
    Windows Server 2012 with Active Directory server-side
    Before someone says, yes I know that Server 2012 has called DirectAccess, however even if it is installed, it is not an option with my setup because I won't drag desktop through the city to connect to the domain when I can use VPN just as easily without the risk of damaging the material.
    I appreciate the answers and eager to solve this.  It must be possible, as I hear from companies doing this all the time for satellite facilities.  Have a good night :)

  • Access connections 4.52 tries to authenticate until the user logs

    We have a large number of computers laptop R61 and R61i on our field. How they are to connect to the network is the Windows login screen appears, the user enters his user name and password, THEN access should try to access the network and connect.

    Now, we have a few computers that start at the login screen but before the user can enter their credentials, logins continues its merry way and starts logging in the wireless... Since many of our customers are looking at the keys instead of the screen, they don't see what happens and are QUITE frustrated that they have to keep re - typing their username and password.

    Of course, the network connection fails because all users logging into our wireless network must have a domain account.

    This is how it is currently set up and works on MOST laptops.

  • After authentication redirecting before the user logged

    Version of apex 4.1, custom authentication based on users of the Oracle database.

    My goal is to allow a user to connect, and if their password is entered in the grace period (7 days before the due date, for example) they will be taken directly to a page to change their password, rather than the home page.

    I have a page on page 101 (login) process to check if a password is about to expire (triggers a warning 28002). If this is the case, I store the warning message in a part of the application, "AI_LOGIN_WARNING".

    In my custom authentication module, I have a post_authentication procedure: -.

    ------------------------------------------------
    PROCEDURE post_authentication
    IS

    BEGIN

    IF INSTR (: AI_LOGIN_WARNING, ' 28002') > 0
    THEN
    htmldb_application.g_unrecoverable_error: = TRUE;
    owa_util. REDIRECT_URL ('f? p =' | v ('APP_ID') |) ': MY_ACCOUNT:' | v ('APP_SESSION'));
    END IF;

    END post_authentication;
    -----------------------------------------------

    where 'MY_ACCOUNT' is the alias of page for a page to allow the user to change his password.

    There is a process on the MY_ACCOUNT page to change a password by calling a database procedure, passing in parameters p_lid = >: APP_USER, p_password =: P103_NEW_PASSWORD:

    --------------------------------------------------------------------
    PROCEDURE change_own_password
    (p_lid IN VARCHAR2,
    p_password IN VARCHAR2)
    IS

    e_not_current_user EXCEPTION;

    BEGIN

    IF p_lid! = V ('APP_USER')
    THEN
    RAISE e_not_current_user;
    END IF;

    EXECUTE IMMEDIATE 'modify user ' | V ('APP_USER') | ' identified by ' | p_password;

    EXCEPTION

    WHEN e_not_current_user
    THEN
    RAISE_APPLICATION_ERROR (-20010, ' you can't edit another user "password is).

    END change_own_password;
    ---------------------------------------------------------------------

    The first problem is that the app only redirects to the MY_ACCOUNT page if it is set to the Public.
    If it is set to the Public, when I try to change my password I get the following error: ORA-01918: there is no such thing as 'NOBODY' user.
    If I put APP_USER programmatically I get ORA-20010 ' you can not edit another user "password is error.

    I seems as if I am redirected to the MY_ACCOUNT page before I was connected, even if the diversion is called in the later part of the AUTHENTICATION of my authentication scheme.

    How can I make sure that Apex connect me before re - direct?

    Thank you.

    Hello

    * Remove the message authentication process
    * Creation of a branch in Page 0 or your homepage (before header) that redirects users 'Change password page' and set the condition so it runs only when it meets your requirement.

    That should do the trick.

    Kind regards
    Hari

  • Get the user logged in PL/SQL

    Hi, I need to get the user name of the user currently connected to the database in PL/SQL.

    I discovered that this can be done by using the following statement:
    select USERNAME into user from v$session where audsid = sys_context('userenv','sessionid');
    The problem is that the above statement will work for a user with privileges higher (if I run it with a user at a disadvantage, I get a table or view is no mistake) and I need to do for any user.

    How can I do this?

    Thank you

    Hello

    Patch 10.1. 3.4 must be installed on an advanced version of SOA 10.1.3.1. Since this is for change of domain name. If you install the patch for 10.1.3.3, basic install works fine... but it would not for 10.1.3.4

  • Remote shadowing / Assistance when the user logged in...

    Hello

    Is there a way I can connect to a VDI machine that is already used by a user for purposes of troubleshooting and technical support?

    Currently we use Remote Desktop Centeral in and manage these workstations, but once we introduce vWorkspace (VDI), we no longer have this feature and I want to avoid installing Desktop Agent Central on the VDI Machine...

    I wonder if vWorkspace have workaround / plans to introduce a new feature for this issue?

    Thank you

    Hello

    In the vWorkspace Management Console, right click on "Locations" and then click RDP connections

    Check the box 'enable remote RDP administration control '.

    Now navigate to the computer group. Right-click on the computer that you want to help, and then select

    Remote control | Remote assistance

    Not sure if they fixed it again where you can control the machine or if it is still seen only. Which was recorded as an enhancement request.

    Thank you, Andrew.

  • Connection of the user before Windows 8 PRO WiFi connection

    Windows 8 Pro, WiFi doesn't connect before a user connects.  I manage all the remote PC and restart them remotely via remote desktop.  In Windows 7, we had only to ensure that the availability of the wireless profile has been created for all USERS.  In Windows 8 PRO, even if I have my profile wireless for all users it does not.  If I try to connect with Remote Desktop, and a user is not already connected, the wireless connection is turned off.  If I connect remotely to a user, the WiFi off as well.  It is a major issue.  Is there a difficulty, a configuration change to enable the WiFi for the value IT if no user is logged on?  I'm about to go back to Windows 7 PRO.  Windows 8 is great, but I'm so again, I don't want to think about.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks PBWS.  In fact, I solved the problem.  The problem was caused by the WiFi I was using either WPA2 Enterprise encryption.  As soon as I changed my personal WPA2 worked well all.    Under Windows 7 PRO, it wasn't a problem.

    Thanks in any case.
