  I downloaded 4.0.0 - esxupgrade - 208167.zip and esx - DVD - 4.0.0 - 208167.iso

  The attempt failed to decompress 4.0.0 - esxupgrade - 208167.zip! Not unzip the executable file.

  I unzipped the file on my desktop and got esxupgrade.sh.

  Unfortunately there is no ZIP code in script shell to be decompressed.

  BusyBox v1.2.1 has gunzip is not working.

  Is there a solution? This is not the first time that I had problems with the

  VMware has changed the way updates are performed in vSphere versus how you used to be able to make upgrades in VI3.  You can use the vSphere Host Update utility you vSphere client on your Windows desktop to upgrade a stand-alone ESXi 3.5 crowd to vSphere (aka ESX 4).

  You must have separate profiles for each version, otherwise you will get a "first release" whenever you pass versions when you are using the same profile.

• SRIOV support for FreeBSD 8.4/10.1 VM with ESX 6?

  Would like to know if the SRIOV VF drivers are supported on FreeBSD 8.4/10.1 VM with ESX 6?

  Configuration information:

  In my setup, I have Intel 82599 NIC with VF interfaces configured and assigned to a virtual 10.1 FreeBSD computer.

  But claim fails with the following error message:

  ix0: Intel (r) PRO/10GbE Virtual Function Network Driver, Version - 1.1.4 > mem 0xebaf8000-0xebafbfff, 0xebafc000-0xebafffff to the 0,0 on pci3 device

  device_attach: ix0 attach returned 6

  pcib4: < ACPI PCI - PCI bridge > camera 21.1 on pci0

  To probe further, pci_alloc_msix() call returns-1, which is unexpected.

  The PF IGB driver on esx 5.5 is 3.21.5

  The ESX version is: ESXi 5.5.0 (Build 1331820)

  If I have a Ubuntu VM affected with a VF of the same physical NETWORK adapter interface, he claims as expected.

  If I live of e/s configured for the Intel 82599 NIC, the 10.1 FreeBSD VM calls for the interface as expected

  Yes, it should work even with the virtual machine. After having developed the virtual disk in the graphical interface, connect to the virtual machine Windows 2003 (or open the console or via the administrative RDP session) and rescan storage in disk management. Assuming that the data disk has only one partition or is the last partition on the disk and does not have the file exchange/swapfile on it, you may even be able to extend disk space by using the diskpart command-line utility.

  Hmmm... I've never known VMware to publish '1a' versions of ESX and KB article below does not reference anything other that it is more build 208167 and continues to list a set of patches.

  Why would be released "1a"?  Wouldn't more typical for U1, U2, U3, etc be released and then, for patches between them, simply use the Update Manager?

  You are right, for the upgrade of the host you should definitely use the ISO 1 update.

  What I meant by "You don't have to worry about update 1 and 1 a update when you update from version 3.5" was the 1a Update doesn't have any effect on this scenario (that's why VMware has not released a new DVD image for the 1a update). 1 to update just came out to correct an installation problem when updating to 4.0 - with the HP management agents installed - update 1. The binaries are the same, there was only the installation change, as described in the article.

  I'm busy building a book to buy as a souvenir printed pictures of a trip.  I finished the book, but found a few more pictures and imported into the original event that I used for photos pic of for the book.  I can't find a way to add pictures of the book that are not part of the original event, I loaded in.  Any ideas?

  I have changed the AOSPS for awhile for Nexus devices and maintains also a few threads on XDA.

  I have now moved to the Xperia Z3 and started to set up my build environment, as shown here.

  Hi, first of all thanks to increase my status as a rookie to the learner. The learner wants to sum up its experience to build the AOSPS for the Xperia. Since I've already built for Nexus devices for years, I thought that the Xperia cannot be too difficult to build software for.

  1 building AOSPS will not a radio works but find you some codes in Git. I still had questions about wasting time on reboot very probably due to bad binary files (already had it on Nexus also). 5.1 construction will lead to graphic flicker but the 5.0 building, which still uses the core 3,4, doesn't have this problem. There is no way to get the camera work, so it was a reason for abandoning the Nexus for the Xperia devices. So I started building CM.

  2 building CM works well. Recovery can be added easily (what cannot on AOSPS). Although version 12.1 (5.1.1), CM still use issues 3.4 kernel so not on the graphics. It is also comes with a camera works but the photos are storted (probably because of the lens wide angle).

  I am very disappointed. Has now spent nearly two weeks to find that any building ROM still will not lead to have a ROM works fully. Also, get comments here seems to be difficult, but we, people come here to get questions... I hope that we will get the binaries for the phone soon to build a ROM that had already been built on other devices for years... the Xperia must return in the package. :-(

  However we start the couldn t of virtual machines. I solved this problem by using the KB1002511 (sea above). Now it starts up fine however it starts like it where 13 December 2011, that was before I did the first snapshot.

  It seems that you have lost the file descriptor for snapshots and attached the basic disk to the virtual machine, which caused the "loss" of the current data. Because you have turned on on the virtual machine with the base attached disk, there could be a corruption of data in the file system, even though I think it should be minor because of the size of the snapshot. I created a set of files based on the timestamp of the hard file that needs repair instant chain and run the virtual machine snapshot 4.

  Please follow these steps:

  1. power off the virtual machine (in fact, I hope that it is always off)
  2. remove the virtual machine from the inventory (right-click the virtual machine)
  3. Download the files from the .zip file attached to the file of the virtual machine on the data store
  4. Add the virtual machine to inventory (right-click the .vmx file)
  5. create a new snapshot!
  6. Turn on the virtual machine

  You must redo your folio with a version of spectator target version 31 or lower. It is a known problem with the version of the viewer target 32 incorrectly being included in the current version of the folio builder Panel.
