ESXi 3.5 - Patch Important Update

Hello

Today, I read this article here: http://blogs.vmware.com/kb/2011/05/important-patch-information-for-esx-35-hosts.html

We have even 4 guests ESXi running ESXi 3.5.0. Number 123629 construction

After reading the article I don't really know if I need to update or not.
Normal, we are not day our ESXi hosts. When we arrived the new server, we install the current version of ESXi and this version works, until the hosts of ESXi is not replaced. So the update is perhaps not relevant. But when I look at what problems might occur, I think that we should update our guests.

So, I have the following questions:

(1) how to perform this update? (In an article I read, that updating should be done with the Update Manager vCenter? But I still have nothing on my Windows Client. Where can I get the program?)
(2) is that I have to back up virtual machines? Are they deleted during the update?
((3) regarding question 2), I think we were able to deploy the update (the ESXi host reboot) and then just update VMware, right tools?

Thanks in advance

Hegg

They could occur, but if your systems are stable, you might be fine in the perspective of software problems.   I insist however update your systems just to make sure you stay on top which are released with these updates security patches.
