There is a small sign on the back of the printer that I can open to peak inside the printer to see the internal Board, nothing look damaged, but perhaps its something in there that is damaged causing the Ethernet to not work even with a new trainer Council?

  I solved the problem, it was very easy. Just had to hold the "Check" button while the printer is switch on and wait three led flash, then on LAN on-board.

  Now, I'm having a problem with a HP 4250. It has a Board which have no ethernet. I traded with another Board that performs on the first boot I think the built-in JetDirect menu. But he has been on static IP so I switched it to DHCP, then transformed it works.   I have a problem in my application when opening new window by clicking on the button (window.open ('http://...')). After the new window opens, "parent" window becomes dead - all session variables are lost, and as a result, he throws the user to the login screen (default page).

  According to the standard HTTP protocol, all applications are completely stateless and have absolutely no connection to any other reqeust coming before or after.

  To enable session state management, ColdFusion uses cookies to know when a new application needs to share data with an application that preceded it.  These cookies can be either a pair called "CFID" and "CFTOKEN" or a named 'JSESSIONID '.

  When you use JavaScript to create a child window in a browser, ColdFusion doesn't know anything about.  All he knows is that he gets another request.  If this request does NOT contain valid cookies identifies as belonging to an existing session, ColdFusion will create a new session with completely new data.

  If you see different of JSESSIONID values when you open this child window, it's probably what's happening.

Stock HARD drive used to run very slowly with the wheel that turns all the time, replace with a Sandisk 240 GB SSD drive recently. It's still at the spinning wheel, colorful, even with the finder. I have still 220 GB unused space.

  You can also prove that it is a SATA interface error by testing two hard drives in a box USB or Firewire. If you can live without portability, then perhaps this is also an option to use the T500 in the future.
