Event ID 1001 system Bug Check 0x000000c2

I have a user who is getting 0x000000c2 error code.  How can I fix this error?

Hi AmyHutt,

·         You did it of any material changes or software on the machine prior to this problem?

·         When exactly do you get this error code?

If you have any external peripheral needless connected to the machine, you can disconnect and check if the problem persists.

Hope the helps of information. Please post back and we do know.

The system has RAID? If so, it's also very suspicious.

This error is usually a driver problem and display adapter (video) driver is the most suspicious if
It could be others. Antivirus/antispyware/security programs, major software and hardware (heat)
questions can also cause the error. When you get to the section of the driver to use the Troubleshoot utility my
generic methods in the next message and then return to the if necessary troubleshooting tool.

Have you recently added hardware or drivers updated? Don't forget to look in Control Panel - Windows
Updates to see if all drivers have been updated it. Other donor opportunities include the antivirus/anti-
    spyware/security programs.

When you get to the pilot and sections of the memory of the troubleshooter check the following message to update drivers and test the memory and then return to the troubleshooter if necessary.

  • Computer re-started from a bug check?

I was in another room and I heard my PC Boot back to Windows.  When I infrom him, I saw a Message saying that my computer Re-started... etc.

I went to the event viewer... and that's what he interprets: "the computer has rebooted from a control bug.  Bug check was: 0x0000009f (0 x 00000003), (and several other codes that not many men know what they meant...); An image has been saved in c:\windows\MemoryDump.DMP. Report id: 051712-22604-01 "

Why Microsoft can't write these messages that normal people can understand what they mean?  I went to c:\Windows\MemoryDump.DMP...the report was there... but yet another obstacle to Microsoft... when I try to open it I get ACCESS DEINIED.  What good is it to clear a report that may... and I say may... tell me what going on if I can't open it?

Any input would be appreciated; I wish you to know what caused my re-Boot and what should I do to avoid the cause in the future.

I suggest go ahead and install the driver.

Create a restore point from the system in advance.

Also, if you have not already, create a system repair disc, so you have the ability to perform a restore of the system outside of Windows:

System File Checker is not a universal solution, but it can help in certain situations.

You really ned to determine the nature of the error before deciding on solutions.

    Event Viewer reports

    1. normally, when an error occurs on your computer looking in Event Viewer should be your starting point to find a solution. More related system errors are recorded and get an exact copy of the relevant report is important. Unfortunately, is not easy to understand reports and most of the users computer need help with their interpretation. I have to say later interpretation.

2 Event Viewer includes three main newspapers of Windows. Here's the Application, security, and system. For purposes of troubleshooting system is by far the most important.

    3. to access the system log, select Start, Control Panel, administrative tools, Event Viewer, in the list on the left of the window select Windows and the system logs. Place the cursor on the system, right click and select filter current log. Check the front of the error and click OK and see you only reports errors. Click the Date and time column header to sort. You may need to click a second time to see the last report above.

    4. a tip for posting copies of error reports! Run Event Viewer and double-click the error you want to copy. Select the Details tab and check the box in front of the XML view. 5. He cautioned against three types of reports, information, and reports errors. In most situations, it is the error reports that offer the best information but sometimes WARNING reports provide useful clues.

    6. all reports have stamps date and hour and when troubleshooting, it is important to focus on the latest reports. Reports of studies from the point when the computer is started, and then check if a similar report appeared in the previous session. If errors do not repeat investigation as to why they happen is wasted effort.

    7. in the individual reports the most important information is the event ID and Source such as these help when looking for help on the internet. The description is just as important and copy the exact text to use as search criteria greatly helps achieve better results when using Google. • System File Checker detects files from oembios that cannot be repaired

I ran the System File Checker on my computer Dell Dimension, and he found files that cannot be repaired: oembios.dat, oembios.sig and oembios.bin. The computer has Windows XP with Service Pack 3 installed and was purchased new in December 2002. The original XP installation disk that I've ever used, a SP1 is installed.

Event Viewer gave this message for one of these files after run the System File Checker. "The oembios.sig of file protected system could not be restored to its original, valid version. "The file version of the bad file is 0.0.0.1 the specific error code is 0x800b0100 [no signature was present in the subject.]."

Everything works well, and these corrupted files seem to have no effect on the operation of the computer. I even ran a Seagate hard drive diagnostic test, and it passed. These files, compressed copies that are in c:\i386 and on the installation disc, be repaired and properly placed in their place in c:\Windows\System32?

Thank you, Robert. I tried your suggested solutions.

First, I tried expanding oembios.si_ of the CD on the e drive (CD player) after the reboot. But I got this message from the command prompt: "cannot open the input e:oembios.si_ file."

Second, I tried to develop oembios.si_ of the c drive, where I know it exists in c:\i386. Yet once again, I got the same message that the input file cannot be opened.

This has proved to be a sticky problem. Fortunately, my computer still works well. It is just that I do not have corrupt files hidden.

  • BSOD Save Dump Event ID 1001 STOP 0x100000d1 after uninstalling software

I recently decided to uninstall Avira Antivir & Comodo Firewall due to complicated updates, without success.  Uninstall was messy & unfinished.  Then, I installed Avast Antivirus, & tried to install PC Tools firewall, which was unable to complete the installation and is causing BSOD on a loop.

The event viewer displays the following text:

    Event type: Information
    Event source: Save Dump
    Event category: no
    Event ID: 1001
    Date: 22/10/2011

    Description:
The computer was restarted after a bugcheck.
    The bugcheck was: 0x100000d1 (0x00000002, 0x00000001, 0 x 00000018, 0xf735c716).

A dump was saved in the: C:\WINDOWS\Minidump\Mini102211-01.dmp.

Could someone show me how to interpret the minidump and determine where the problem (s) was/is?

I have a Dell Inspiron 600 m, XP SP3 and can operate in Mode without failure.

    Thank you very much.

    Yes, you said that... :)

In Support of Comodo Forums, there are many, many uninstall problems which go back several years and go on for pages and pages and pages - try things, perhaps, could be, could be, etc.

Some type AV programs have their own special uninstall tools.  I don't know whether or not the Comodo.  I checked my notes and I don't have to Cómdo.

When uninstall fail, some people have luck with this product:
    http://www.GlarySoft.com/products/utilities/absolute-uninstaller/

Some people seem to reinstall everything and then try again to uninstall, and sometimes it market.

I found this link on their forums that has a few Comodo uninstall ideas:

    https://support.Comodo.com/index.php?_m=Knowledgebase&_A=viewarticle&KBArticleID=10

If none of this works, you can continue this Comodo problem in their forums.  Tell them you found this BSOD, here is my info, here is my report discharges BSV, etc. and how uninstall you Comodo, during the uninstallation has failed?  Clearly your BSOD come from their product.

I hope you understand that I am not a great help because I do not use Comodo and won't install to try to understand why it does not uninstall it and what to do about it.

Right now, I would say that you have a problem with Comodo - is not an XP problem.

If the links above do not help, I would take it to them in their forums, where they have the Comodo product experts who work on this stuff throughout the day.

  • Event ID 1001 when you try to delete a file or folder.

Hi out there. Trying to remove a results file in a pop-up window: "Windows Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience. »
and event id 1001. By clicking on the link says what SQLite requires an update - why this should affect the deletion of a file? If I have to update it, where should I save it?

Responses received with gratitude – thank you.

Gerry: thank you by subscribing to what I had just decided to do. I replaced the version of SQLite3 dll most recent, and restarted - that did the trick. I suspect it has something to do with Genie Timeline, which installed a recent, but not later, SQLite3.dll version - I installed a few days ago, but haven't configured it yet (it run in the background, tracking the evolution of certain folders, etc.) my external drive has just developed a fault and is replaced! To watch the files I'm trying to remove and wants to check if they have been saved, where the use of SQLite. My wife actually reminded me of this facility, so I'm very grateful to her.
Thanks for your help, especially since I see that you have been very busy trying to help others.
    Merry Christmas.

  • Event ID 1001 - "bucket Fault 236805788, type 5..." etc. occurring 30 - 50 times per day (and almost never caused by the same component/software)

    Hi all
Since I installed Win7 - x 64 Ultimate on my system a month and half ago (was a clean install, not upgrade), I had a few things of stange happening (for example, my pc now randomly beeps at me through the pc speaker), I have not confirmed this, but it seems to be a sound signal at the same time as the event ID 1001 - Windows Error Reporting occurs ("Bucket Fault 2937..." etc., but) the problem always different signatures).

The event is an event 'Information', however due to the volume of events, I wanted to make sure that it is not more serious, as happened 52 times until today, but average about 25 - 30 per day. I did a quick search on google and noticed that exactly what I saw was a known issue for Win2000 and Win Server 2003, but has not found anything to do with Windows 7. (see KB290647 & KB271213)

    My configuration is:
    -Windows 7 Ultimate x 64
    Motherboard - Asus P5Q-E
-Intel Core 2 Quad 2.4 ghz
EVGA - GeForce GTX 260 video
    RAM DDR2-1066-4 gb
    1 TB WD HD-Black

I added a few newspapers today below XML code, if anyone out there knows what could be the cause of this or if there is a problem, should I even worry about... your comments would be appreciated!

Check updates systems installed to KB2862330. Is it installed?

This security update was initially released on 8 October 2013. The security update was re-released on January 14, 2014, for computers that are running Windows 7 Service Pack 1 (SP1) or Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1. The reissue resolves an issue in which one of the pilots of the stack kernel USB 2.0 is not updated in some specific computer configurations.
