EventHandler: fading out before doing anything else

Hello everyone

I wish that the current page to falter before another html page is loaded in the browser when you click on a link button.

So I guess that the handler must call an interpolation function, get information when the main movieclip alpha is 0 and then call the new URL.

My wonder is how the Manager read the alpha value of the main movieclip until it is 0, so that it can act accordingly.

In addition I don't know where to place the interpolation function, if it has to go in the document class, or in the AS3 of the button, which is on the timeline of the mc that contains the button.

Thanks for your thoughts

If you create an interpolation function, you can assign an event listener to the interpolation to listen for the MOTION_FINISH event and have this process of evolution to the new URL.  If you look in the Tween class in the help documents, you will find all the events that can be listened to.

Firefox announces that it crashed before it does nothing and told me to stop or restart that results in the same crash. I have included my e-mail address with the report of accident several times but received no recognition. I am a veteran of Windows since 98 & can find my way around directories & registry. I have all crash reports, not acknowledged by the last id including the FF site.

Win7 seems otherwise healthy and going Explorer'net ok.

It seems that the uninstall of FF program is not severe enough or that I fell into a black hole of FF. I've uninstalled and reinstalled without success. My next thought is to remove all program FF, Applications and data files, and whatever the entries in registry, Regseeker & CCleaner think appropriate., & then reinstall.

I've been running Win7 with the last pack of Srv, Norton Inet Scrty with FF for years, with no problems.
I reported this with Inet Explr given that FF does not work. Are there procedures or suggestions to offer?

Thank you for the report crash IDs. I checked the last three and that they do not match philipp mentioned originally, here is a little more information about this problem.

If you open the error reports and click on the 'Modules' tab, you will see that the first on the list in each case is "FLVSrvLib.dll". This module installs with various programs of Applian Technologies including Freecorder and Replay Media Catcher.

The accident seems to have started after that users with one of these programs installed a recent last update their Norton Security software.

Could you check again on the question of if you have either of these programs, and it is not essential, try to uninstall it then restart Windows to ensure that none of its components are running.

Firefox will start normally after that?

If you do not uninstall the program, a few others said using the msconfig program to stop execution at startup FlvSrvc.exe circumvented the problem. See: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/using-system-configuration

  • Installation disc Win7 keeps restarting (before doing anything useful)

    Recently, I bought a Windows 7 upgrade (a file called ')

Dutch_Windows_7_Professional_SP1_W64_X17 - 59236.img'). Now I have burned the image on a dvd and am trying to install, but not having not success.

When I start the computer with the disc, I get the usual "press any key to boot from the disc" message, what I'm doing. Then, a white with the text "loading files" progress bar appears. After the progress bar has filled, for a second or two, I see the text "Starting Windows" and then the computer restarts. And that's all, I can't go any further.

I took several measures to ensure that it is not a bad burned disc or a hardware malfunction:

-J' have burned and tried the two DVDs. Same thing with both.

-J' tried my desktop computer (a fairly new PC with UEFI) and my computer laptop (very different material, old-school BIOS) and several virtual machines. All these machines are known to work properly (I'm typing this from one of them). All give the same results.

-In addition, on the virtual machines I tried to start the downloaded directly (not from the dvd) image file. Yet once again, the same thing happens.

So. Someone has an idea what is happening? What can I try? In my view, that the problem occurs at a stage early that there are little, I as a user can do, but I'm not a big user of Windows, then maybe someone has an idea.

    Thank you

    Hello

When you set up the link that points to the PDF file, you open in a new window? If so, you should also see an option on the drop-down menu where you choose to point to a new window that says something like: continue a game project. You must make sure that the option is NOT enabled and playhead should remain on-site.

  • How can we change automatic spacing without changing anything else in a paragraph? (InDesign CS5.5)

I'm very new to InDesign and I am trying to format a novel that was written in Word. I have many ongoing complex formatting (areas of text, fonts, alignments, etc.) and noticed after I imported the text of the word, most of the setting in the form (with the exception of most of my text boxes, which I can live with) has been preserved, but the leader has changed considerably (which I just can't live with).

I figured out how to change the functionality of automatic line spacing in the paragraph styles box, but I don't want to change anything else in the paragraph - namely, all of the custom line spacing (like tabs, for example) disappear when I apply the style with modified automatic spacing. I don't need the leader has changed, nothing else.

Best of cases, I'd love to be able to bulk change the entire novel to automatic spacing changed, if possible.

    I would appreciate help!

Looks like there are overrides of style before you make the change in leadership. If you select the paragraph, do you see a sign more after the name of the style? If you do, and the formatting is rally to what you want, right-click on the name of style, then choose redefine. You should then be able to reset the amount of automatic spacing and other attributes will stick.

  • Malwarebytes - do I need anything else (security tips)

Hello ladies and gentlemen, Apple Support Forums!

I have a few questions about this great little Mac Mini on my desk. Coming from a Windows background, I have a bit of inherent paranoia that needs a bit of smoothing.

I have read about the security of the Mac, on the defences of sandbox, Gatekeeper, never install suspicious applications etc. But I guess it's always better to have a scanner installed as well. Mac simplifies the sort to choose as my old Windows, Emsisoft Anti-Malware and Superantispyware programs do not provide versions of Mac.

Malwarebytes is one of my classmates that comes with the Mac version. And howdy to how fast it scans. O_o compared to Windows 7 minutes 30 seconds.

Norton was even crap in Windows and Avast, I have more confidence. Avira for Mac looks nice and simple.

So my questions are the following:

    (1) do I need anything else besides that Malwarebytes and Avira? (And common sense, I got load of Windows security vulnerabilities...)

    (2) as I understand it, Windows malicious software may enter the Mac, but they are completely powerless to do anything, just hang out? Under no circumstances can they interfere with my Mac? So as long as I scan with Malwarebytes, all bad guys he finds are for Mac and trash from potential Windows that the rest is harmless anyway?

Thank you for any assistance you can provide!

  • Now my HP Officejet Pro more will not print Photos or anything else!

Here I am once more.  I finally solved the problem that I had been downloading the software for my HP printer after that I downloaded Windows 10.  I could not download any software without getting an error message 'download cancelled '.  I was able to print pictures and letters typed with WordPerfect X 6.  I'm embarrassed to say that I accidentally fell into the solution and now I can scan, send faxes again.  Yay!  Problem is NOW, I'm more able to print photos, or anything else!  I go through all the motions and send the message to the printer to print, but nothing happens.  I have already run the hppiw.exe and configure the printer.  When I try to run the HPPSdr.exe, he unzips the file, the printer appears as "installed" and click on the 'Next', I get a screen with 3 different ways to connect the printer to my computer - I choose USB because it'S the way I was connected.  Then I get a message telling me to do that my printer is on (it is)!  and try a different USB port (I have) or try another USB cable (I HAVE!)  OK, so FINALLY I get to the point where I am able to print on a HP Officejet Pro 8600 N911g series Print Page of Diagnostic quality, AND DOES IT!    But I also know there is a problem with the software and I need to uninstall and click the Support link and the Driver to download new software.  But when I click on the link, I'm told I'm not connected to the internet - here we are again.  I'm exhausted.  I am 65 years old and I've been at this for 96 hours.  I've corrected the problems of scanning, but now I can't print while yesterday I was able to do it!   Arrrrggggghhhhhh.

Can someone tell me why I get the message 'not connected' when in fact I AM connected to the internet?  sigh/smh

Then, run the HP print and Scan Doctor to verify that everything works.

    I hope these steps help!

  • Reactivated my computer with muted and all I get is a song play more and more, can not hear anything else.

    Original title: music

I used my sound muted.  I had something that I needed to listen to the sound but when i not cut the sound there is a song that plays again and again... you don't hear anything else.  How can I disable this...

    Hi Kathy,

From the description you have provided, it appears that there is a program (most likely a music player or a browser that has a tab open playing multimedia content) that runs in the background in the computer at the time where you encountered this problem. Sometimes when you open Web sites in a browser, they automatically open certain pop-up windows that keeps the game ads. It could be like a local browser window as well.

So that the community to better help you, you will need to provide some information on your computer. I put a few questions below, answer please:

    1. What is the operating system installed on the computer that has this problem? And what is the service pack installed on this operating system? You can check this information by referring to the this article .

    2. what internet browser do you use on your computer? If it is Internet Explorer that you are using, let us know its version by referring to the information here.

At this point, I suggest two things you can do on the computer that has the problem of eliminating the factors I mentioned above. I describe below, check them out:

Method 1: Use Windows Task Manager to identify current programs that may cause this problem:

If you press the keys Ctrl, SHIFT and ESC keys together on the keyboard of your computer, it evokes the Windows Task Manager program. On the Applications tab in the Windows Task Manager, a list of the applications currently running on your computer is displayed. When you have found this reading repeated in the computer, you can open the Windows Task Manager and check what programs are running on the computer at this time.

Check the list of Applications for probable programs which could play music - a music/video player, a Web browser, etc.. You can right-click on these programs that are running and click on switch to to get that particular program and check if it plays the song you hear. If you find the program that is causing the problem using this method, you can simply close this program. That should solve the problem.

However, if the problem still persists in the computer, follow these steps:

Method 2: Save your files/programs, and then restart the computer once:

Save any unsaved file/program, you have opened in the computer and restart the computer once. Is the issue still there after the reboot? To let us know.

These steps has the basic things that you need to register such a question. I hope that they help you get started in a good sense. Please report if the problem is still there, or you need help Windows. We are happy to be of assistance.

Once the parameters required by the computer's BIOS were kept in low-power CMOS memory.  The power was supplied by a battery when the power was provided by the computer's power supply.  Removing the battery with no available backup power would cause the memory of losing the settings.  Some - but not all - power supplies provided backup power to the CMOS when the computer was turned off but still connected to the external power supply.

More recent computer use a nonvolatile memory such as EEPROM or flash the BIOS settings for memory, so that the only thing the battery support is the real time clock.

In both cases, remove the BIOS battery without having available backup power will not result in a black screen.  If the BIOS settings are lost, the computer will generally display a message giving the possibility to access the BIOS configuration utility to reset the missing values.

Most probably, when you had the case open to change the battery you dislodged or loose a connector for the video card.  Two more serious possibilities come to mind: you put the battery head down (I don't know what will happen in this case) or you skipped a few circuits with static electricity.

Open the case and static precautions, look for loose or damaged connections.  Also check the polarity of the battery of the BIOS.

    Hello

1st thing to try is a restoration of the system in safe mode

    http://www.windowsvistauserguide.com/system_restore.htm

    Windows Vista

    Using the F8 method:

    1. Restart your computer.
    2. When the computer starts, you will see your computer hardware are listed. When you see this information begins to tap theF8 key repeatedly until you are presented with theBoot Options Advanced Windows Vista.
    3. Select the Safe Mode option with the arrow keys.
    4. Then press enter on your keyboard to start mode without failure of Vista.
    5. To start Windows, you'll be a typical logon screen. Connect to your computer and Vista goes into safe mode.
    6. Do whatever tasks you need and when you are done, reboot to return to normal mode.
