  There are a couple of settings that may affect your alerts. Please make sure that your notifications are enabled for reminders and calendar. Go to settings > Notifications. Also, make sure you do not disturb is turned off by going to settings > do not disturb. Here is some additional information on notifications:

  I'm building a control for a Laser machine which based its controls in the ActiveX control technology. I had a program in c# that works, but I have because I wanted to change the settings and then connect it to another program Labview, I "translate".

  I start with a very simple operation:

  1. 'Start' ActiveX Server
  
  
  2. "load" a design for the laser.

  If the "QueryStart" laser signal is activated by a switch, then "run" program.

  If laser 'ends', then light a led.

  I have problems to light a led by using the ref (LaserStartedLed) VI. I'm using as a model the Labview example: CWKnob to see a number from the button. But in this case, they use the numbers from the button, in my case are just Boolean, and I try to get data from common event.

• No output message in the reminder of the event reminder register

  Nice day. I've created a diagram that uses the DLL of our client. I have a hard time to create because I am not no matter what background or experience this level of .expertise which involves DLL files. The DLL file is a type of Assembly code .net. The DLL file will be used for sending specific commands (i.e. read the Firmware Version, serial numbers, etc.) using a NFC (Sony S380) Player. It is the only means of communication about the product that is a digital watch. The problem is on the VI Ref callback, which implies a dialog box & a Message string for the property of 'DebugResponseReceived' node, there is no output, but the dialog box Message only gives me a message OK or info that I need to get. If I put a breakpoint to unbundle it by name "e", it gives a message in the property node power & the dialog box. both the Message property Node & dialog box have the same performance. Please see my Code.

  A reminder cannot directly return values. You must use the user parameter of event reminder entry register to pass a reference to a queue, the user event or another way to pass data to a primary application. • Probe an event reminder vi

  Hi all.

  Please could someone tell me why when I probe, or turn on tracing on the block diagram of a vi event reminder nothing is shown even though I know the vi has been called because I can the results of it being called. I'm in Labview 2009.

  When your program runs, LabVIEW makes copies of you re-entering VI so that you can call them several places and have them run dependent on the other. With your sub VI is already open you watched the EDICT of the VI version. While LabVIEW worked a copy (or clone) of the Sub VI.

  Normally (non-re-come) VI only have a copy of your sub VI. If you call your sub VI of several palaces at the same time, the sub VI can only run one at a time and the other one must wait for the VI is free.

  You register the event with the same VI reminder each time? You don't need to do. Once registered, the VI reminder will trigger on every triggered event.

  You would only need to re - register the event if you want to switch to another reminder VI. To do this, you must first call Unregister for events on the first recorded event.

• Notifications of events generated and sent to EWS counts for TMSXE

  My account of EWS has been installed for TMSXE receives notifications of events planning and trying to find a way to turn it off.  When I go to system-> Notification of events and for the TMSXE account management, it is not configured to receive any notifications.  Yet, it does.

  If I add notifications for other events (for example start-up), the account TMSXE receives e-mails for charging machines, as well as planning events.

  It seems that TMS is stuck with the idea that it is to send this information to the TMSXE account.  What is a behavior of the integration of the Exchange with TMSXE?  Can it be disabled?

  It happens that if you enable the user tmsxe as 'User integration Exchange' there is a checkbox if you change the user. Just uncheck it. This setting will be deleted in a future of tms versions because it is no longer used.

  As far as I know, the list of supported resolutions is determined solely by the graphics card. It is possible that one used by the PC supports only 800 x 600 as maximum resolution, even if you plug an external monitor.

  Like Dennis suggested, the recommended option would probably be to develop on another PC and only deploy an executable for the industrial PC. That's what we do with our systems (although not because of this problem, but because it makes sense. There absolutely no need to have the IDE installed in most of our systems).

  Other options:

  1. See if you can get an update of the driver from the manufacturer to solve this problem.
  2. Plug a USB Monitor with its own driver.
  3. Try to hide the taskbar and make the smaller title bar in the hope that the bug manifests.
  4. Try remote access in the PC. I think that some remote access programs allow you to specify custom resolutions that are not affected by the original drivers. Remote Desktop seems to be a likely this option even if it has been awhile since I've used it.
  5. Check the BIOS. I saw at least one industrial PC where there was some settings in the BIOS to control the resolution, but I don't remember the details, and it was quite limited. I think that in this case, you can change the resolution, but then the image does not fill the entire screen.

  Most of the suppliers do not let you send if you are not connected through them, or they have special settings.  So for now, see if you can access your e-mail via webmail and use this interface and in the future, contact your ISP and ask them if there is a way to send emails when you are connected through a different network.

  Your symptoms point to a Graphical Identification and Authentication (Msgina.dll) file that has been replaced by your netgear installation.  The following items describe your condition and suggest alternatives:

• Received a call from someone claiming to be from Microsoft - error in MS Windows event viewer and warnings

  I just got a phone call from someone claiming to be from Microsoft.  He directed me to go to MS Windows event viewer and County errors and warnings in the Applications and the system section.  Then he asked me to let them access my computer and fix any problems that would be 'crash' of my computer.  When I refused him access said he couldn't help me and hung up.  I do not think that it was Microsoft but are ratings warning and error a problem?  I use Windows XP.

  Kudos to you 1Grizzly, you have made the right choice. Microsoft does not make unsolicited support calls or send emails to customers, offering support.
