  Anyone know how to open the full width of the screen? I thought that Fn + F10 was the reason, but it does not work on one of my TE2100. Nothing is missing 'under' the Virgin 1 inch, it just uses it for some reason any. What gives? Thank you.

  Have you checked the properties of the graphics card if there is an option called activate the full screen or something like that? Sorry, but I don t know the name exactly.

  You can also try to check the BIOS if there is a similar option.

  Hello deerjohn,

  I understand that you are having problems when your monitor guard shift to the right, and you have tried to do a factory reset on it and it continues to happen. There is not a lot of troubleshooting you can do with a monitor. I provided you with the steps to do a hard reset on the screen below:

  Step 1. Unplug the power cord from the wall and the monitor

  Step 2. Hold down the power button while the power cord is disconnected for 30 seconds (this drain ALL the power to the monitor)

  Step 3. The monitor, ensuring that it is plugged directly into a wall and not into a power strip or surge protector.

  If the problem persists, try to reduce your screen resolution down a little and see if it works.

  To go further with troubleshooting that I encourage you to post the number for your product for your computer (if it's an HP computer). I'm a link a HP Support document below that will show you how to find the number for your product. So, if you could indicate what operating system you are using. And if your operating system 32-bit or 64-bit like this and the product number I can give you accurate information.

  Your lowered obtained resolution. This can occur if you are running an older game that uses 800 x 600 for example.

  Control Panel > display > settings - change the resolution to correct for your monitor. MS - MVP - Elephant Boy computers - don't panic!

  I would ask anyone here who has some knowledge about windows 7.i have a HP Compaq laptop and since I had it has this weird black space on the right end of the screen. I can see everything on the screen, including the time and the Desktop button but after that, there are just 3-4 centimeters from the darkness.   Your question isn't described very well.

  What do you mean exactly by: mouse disappears on the right of the screen and the background in the black bars at the top
  Do you mean the touchpad or the cursor?
  The laptop's touchpad supports the (multi-touch) gesture control feature, and this feature could be configured in the settings of the touchpad:
  + Control Panel-> mouse-> device-> settings settings tab.

  You will also find the option called shots of edge which opens the charms, app Switcher bar and toolbar Application simply by moving your finger between the edge of the touchpad to the centre.

  In this case the cursor is not visible.
