  I wrote a small application that reads the values of a NetworkVariable created on the local computer. The address of this variable is something like \\127.0.0.1\System\test1

  That I can see, I can use this type of variable (I mean System -based) that if I installed an EVS (by Measurement Studio). But to install Measurement Studio, I need too Visual Studio...

  There is a way to work properly with NetworkVariables based on a system without having to install everything as I said before? AES is responsible for the correct operation of NetworkVariables? In this case, is there any chance to install a standalone engine shared Variable of EVS?

  I found the solution to help NI MeasurementStudio 2008:

  Server deployment

  In this scenario, you must deploy the motor Variable shared to another machine that plays the role of the server. To deploy the shared Variable engine, you must run an installation on the target computer. The required Installer is installed with Measurement Studio for the [InstallDir] \ Redist\NINETVARSERV folder.

  You can view all the command-line options to run the installation program with setup.exe /? . Command line options, you can choose to run the installer in silent mode.

  You can use the Variable Manager to create and configure network on the server variables. The variable Manager is installed by default. To run the Setup program without installing the Variable Manager, run setup.exe /prop VARMANEXCLUDE=1 command. To run the installation program of engine Variable shared in silence and without the Variable Manager, run setup.exe /q /acceptlicenses yes /prop VARMANEXCLUDE=1 command.

  Im trying to connect an audio input OR EVS - 1463 RT (LabVIEW RT App). I thought that the audio input behave as "analog input" for example DAQmx Device.

  Is there a driver to control the acquisition on audio input NI EVS-1463RT? I need only to connect the sound signal and save it for the next treatment.

  In LVRT there is absolutely no way to use these audio jacks. I think they're working on the Windows version however.

  How can I view my front panel, running on the Exchange virtual server on a monitor connected to the DVI - I output of the EVS-1464?

  Hi Roy, I'm not sure if actually read Hossein that KB or not, but she deals with the display on the front panel on the network on a Windows computer, not on via the connection of the monitor on the Exchange virtual server running LabVIEW RT.

  To answer your original question, no, it is not possible to look at the façade of standard LabVIEW on the RT system today. All the code used to display all the buttons on the Panel before the user interface, controls, and indicators are simply not present in LabVIEW Real-time and is only visible on a separate computer that is running the development environment or by using a web browser that has the plugin installed LabVIEW.

  Have a display of the UI on RT is certainly a requested feature and it would be available someday. You can see this request: http://forums.ni.com/t5/LabVIEW-Real-Time-Idea-Exchange/Real-time-display/idi-p/1391108 . He has some good ideas for what other alternatives exist today also.

  However, it is a way to use the monitor on the Exchange virtual server and other LabVIEW RT systems output. Module Vision Development includes video RT on the screw that can display any image on the connected monitor. You can either display images captured from cameras or images custom overlay text and simple graphics objects (lines, circles, rectangles, etc.). It is certainly more effort than normal front panel editor in LabVIEW but it could be adapted to your needs if you want some things to be displayed. You will of course have no mouse/keyboard so that you cannot interact with any display of the elements directly.

  I used variable shared unique process and shared network variables in a project with a host PC and a cRIO.

  Is it possible to host the variable engine shared on the PC and still have the cRIO using process variables unique shared when the PC is turned off, and therefore the EVS is not available?

  Reading the documentation, I think it's okay, but I don't know, I'd check myself but the cRIO isn't available .

  Here is a link to a KB which has a note that a shared variable unique process does not use the Shared variable engine.

  The reason is that it would add additional overhead to the application.

  One thing to remember of thought, it is that when the VI on the cRIO comes to use a shared variable of the network and the engine is not available this VI will throw an error.

  I have no recovery disks and have spent most of 30 minutes where to order them online with no luck to research.

  How can I configure my build Distribution Source so that the LabVIEW shared Variable engine is loaded and all my shared variables are deployed?  I need to build my code in a LLB file, which, once opened, automatically launch the high level vi and deployed all shared variables.

  I can do this for code that is compiled into an EXE file, but I can't understand how do for code compiled in a LLB file.

  I thought that the problem starts the first level VI, does not deploy, sorry.

  You can deploy the library using a node to invoke with the library "deploy" or 'deploy libraries' method in the application class. Simply give the path to the library then.

  The only way to EVS all the metadata transferred another Mac photo library. Make a copy of the photo library on an external drive and copy the complete library to your other Mac.

  If you want to only copy the selected photos to a library on the other Mac with included metadata, export photos using the "file > export".   Hello everyone, I had a problem after in place upgrade to windows 10.
  the usb driver is completely does not work. If I plug any usb device kind he'd jump as unknown device in Device Manager.

  my laptop: vaio EVS 14126 cxb
  usb driver: chipset family Intel (r) 7 series \c216
  OS: windows 10 unilingual home. version Build 10.0.10586 1511

  1 reinstall the driver from the manufacturer's original (the most recent driver is 2013, and I do not think that this support would win 10)
  2. I tried updating using the driver intel update but nothing found (there is no compatible driver)

  no idea how to solve this problem? recovery is out of the question since I accidently deleted the recovery image

  I have upgraded and also installed the driver from the link. I've already updated with vaio update, but the problem still exists.

  in fact 2 days ago, I did own install.i use boot inherited and closed in secure boot mode, because UEFi will not work. then I deleted the partition because it used acvept GPT so I use NTFS installed instead.then victory 10.

  now, all is working.i can probably guess when I update to win 8.1 to 10 something goes wrong.
