Exact size of brush

Why isn't the section what I paint the brush size exactly as what shows the cursor?

For example: when I use a round brush, I see it, but only the heart is what is paint, smearing, cloning, etc.

I went into preferences and I chose different options under the sliders, but it always not to paint my cursor size chosen.

You need to right click inside the image and should see something like this: (this is the clone tool)

  • Defining an exact size in pixels for a rectangular selection area.

I need to set an exact size to my rectangular selection box. Is there a way to do this? I tried to use the tool of crop as an alternative method, but I find that I could not figure out how to set the culture to the exact size in pixels or how move the selection area cultures when it was placed above the image.

    Thanks in advance...

    Hello

What version of photoshop are you using?

Is to use the rectangular selection tool and set the Style to fixed size and then enter the numbers in the width and height fields.

Alternatively, you can move the selection area by dragging inside the selection if you have the option of the enclosed rectanagular tool set to new selection tool.

Then Image > crop if you want to crop the image.

  • Do not put files to the exact size

    Hello

I created Illustrator files to the exact size of InDesign pages I want to place on, so they're just right of pop. But they don't come out the same size. I do the command d for the place and then dragging the cursor with SHIFT pressed from the top left of the page to the bottom right of the page, but it never comes out not evenly.

    No idea what is happening?

    Thank you!

It is the movement which makes the incorrect size.

Move your cursor to the upper left corner of the InDesign file, and then click. The file will be placed at 100%.

  • Larger sizes of brush in Adobe Flash CS5.5

So what my problem is with Adobe Flash CS5.5, is that it goes back only to a certain size of the brush. I want one even of larger sizes of brush. I wish there was an option where you can choose a number and this is what the size of your brush size would go up. But it gives you only a limited number of options. Is it possible AT ALL for me to get much bigger or smaller brush sizes? Thanks in advance!

  • Out an exact size canvas in PS CS5 for magazine ad?

    Hello

I started in PS CS5 by creating a canvas 4 x 7 "and started designing.  It does not seem good to me so I decided to print a draft of my partially finished and discovered that it's actually HUGE.  I need to go out an advertisement for a magazine that must be exactly 4 x 7 ".  How do we guarantee that the output size will be exactly as planned?

    Thank you

    Hi, auctioneer

This should be fairly simple, there is no that many variables.

Assuming that you want to print at 300 DPI - to simplify the calculations! -which would give you a screen size effective from 2100 high x 1200 pixels in width, assuming that the orientation is portrait.

This image would not fit on my screen, but it does not matter, then the impression, that would be precisely 4 "x 7".

Ignore the 'width' of my picture below, I have nothing that fits your exact size, but I hope that the indicated settings are pretty self explanatory.

    Good luck!

  • Can I resize to an exact size in bridge when you export with export Panel?

I need to create and export JPEGs to an exact size: side lonmgest 5700 pixels. I used to do this, use the command 'fit the picture' in photoshop. However, if I enter the export box 5700 it converts just below, as is a box "worthy of".

Any ideas? that I'm testing. If this is possible without photoshop then we can encorperate bridge CS5 in our workflow of the enterprise. Thank you

In addition, you can only Downsample!

Is it possible that I can export my .indd to PDF to an exact size? I need my pricicely 2 MB file and want to compress all that it takes to reach this size but no more then necessary compression.

Is this possible? or maybe through Distiller?

Size is a dependent variable on levels of compression and content and is not predictable or something you can set.

  • Culture to exact size - out of 0.001 inch

    Hi-

I'm trying to do pictures for a scientific publication that requires that they be 3.5x2 inches exactly.  When I get to that size, I find myself with images that are 3.5 x 1,999 inches.  I don't know if le.001 thumb is important for the editor, but is there a way to get around this?

    Thanks in advance

    Yes, it's probably your problem: 304 ppi. Change to 300 ppi and 3.5 "x 2". It should work as 3.5 "x 2" translates in 1050 x 600 pixels

Edit: Wait, you try to get 3.5 "x 2" or 3 "x2.5"? " Anyway would a whole number of pixels in each direction I guess (at 300 dpi)

  • Difficult to change the sizes of brush with keyboard commands

    Hi all

All of a sudden I have problems change of brush sizes, hardness etc. using keyboard shortcuts. Additionally, when you try to use a brush with a taper on it (which I would like to get rid of), he refuses to go.  Sometimes I can use keyboard controls and all that after I chose another tool and back brushes (or dodge or burn), say brush, click on the arrow icon, then back to the brush and use the keyboard command, or click on the program and back in.

It is not Yosemite, it started before that, but don't know when.

I'm on an iMac running Yosemite 10.10

    Thank you

Could it be! Menus, shortcuts, Lasso tool, or Photoshop constantly run when using a Wacom tablet. Mac OS

Adobe has a white window plugin to solve this problem.

  • Setting size of brush and opacity in Illustrator line. Possible?

    Hello

Just to make sure I have missed something.

Would it not possible to adjust the opacity and line size for the brushes used in Adobe Illustrator? Or it is available in Adobe Illustrator to draw?

Also, the chromatic circle for the choice of colors is not a feature online, right?

    Thank you very much

    Gustavo.

    Gustavo,

Illustrator attract so many line Illustrator let you specify size/opacity.

In Illustrator Draw controls the size and opacity are on the toolbar after you select a tool type.

In Illustrator, if you press and hold one of the tools in the toolbar at the bottom, controls the size and opacity will be available.

To access the color wheel, now pressure on one of the colors in the theme of the color in the toolbar.
