  I'm trying to create a link of database from a very locked down server (A database) at database B, which is on my internal network.

  I believe that UDP (beforehand) and TCP (for communications) is used by MAX.

  You might also consider using a tool like Wireshark network sniffer to see what links are used.

• What ODI protocol uses to communicate over the network?

  We need to open ports in the firewall to allow the ODI to connect to another instance, but we want it open only for the protocol used by ODI. It would be something like SQLNet or HTTP.

  In general, communication purposes with an agent of the ODI for invocation (i.e. perform scenarios etc.) is performed via the HTTP protocol on port defined by the user, as far as I know - TCP port 20910 is often used. If the communication with the agent of ODI is protected with SSL / TLS, then the initial communication would take place over HTTP on port defined by the user in front of an encrypted tunnel is set up by using the SSL / TLS protocol.

  Database connectivity is also at the level of the network as you say properly and according to the particular database that you are using a different application level protocol will be used by the JDBC driver. For example, database connections Oracle would use the TNS (the TCP port default 1521) Protocol while MS SQL uses the Protocol (TCP port 1433 by default) TDS, but these ports can be customized. If you use tools such as SCP in ODI while you need to open ports between the agent and the target computers so that for example you can access SSH on the target (TCP 22 for SSH default port) machine and so on.

  What this really means to however, it is exactly that you need to open TCP ports would depend on what tools you use in ODI and what technologies are, you connect from / to.   Have a new toughbook of Panasonic CF - H2.  Windows 7. On the login screen of the touch screen keyboard has black keys with white numbers. When you type the password it does not show what keys are be depressed. Once logged in the change of keyboard color to be more transparent and you can see the key used during typing.  Is it a setting in the keyboard that can be changed or is it a thing of security?

  I understand that you want to know what graphics driver is used, and whether or not you can disable a specific. Go into Control Panel, then Device Manager. Go to your display adapter section and right click on the one you want to disable, and then select "disable."

• What ports/servers are used to display customer (PCoIP)

  I have spent hours reading on this subject and can't understand how it works.  Is there someone who can explain in a few sentences what ports are used in this scenario and what the connection through servers?

  In administrator mode, I 'Use' secure tunnel connection to the office and "Use PCoIP PCoIP gateway secure connections to desktop" both died. In my view, this means that clients connect directly to the correct virtual machine?

  Most of the clients are on the local network, but we also use ipads to connect through our vpn.  In the vpn configuration, I welcomed ONLY access the connection Broker: 443 yet ipads are able to connect to their desktop very well.  I don't understand how this is possible, unless the connections between the client and the virtual machine are always routed by the broker for the connections.

• Cannot communicate with scanner hp virtual windows XP wireless.

  Hi all.  I'm on ubuntu 8.10, vmware server 2.0 and windows virtual xp.  the host is the box of ubuntu and windows xp running inside vmware server.  I have a printer hp 6300 series all-in-one.  the virtual operating system windows communicates with the network wireless using NAT via the linux box.  I can't seem to print on the hp all-in-one through virtual windows, but am not able to scan.  When scanning, the hp softtware opens, and after a short delay, I am presented with an error message regarding the transfer of data.  I have paint shop pro installed on the virtual machine, and when you try to connect to the scanner using this software, the same error message appears.  I think I might change some files in linux for ease of analysis, but I don't really know where to start.

  Is it possible to try briefly the VM with bridged networking? One of the differences between the bridge and NAT networking is that NAT does not automatically allow unsolicited incoming traffic must therefore be configured according to the guidelines on page 252 of the manual - http://www.vmware.com/pdf/vmserver2.pdf. It does not require to know what ports are used. If that doesn't work not on either packed then this isn't the issue. Also, is there a firewall that might block traffic?
