  You can certainly use the amplifier wide band and you can remove the other antenna because it is not necessary... It can cause interference so it is best to remove it...

  Replacing the LED backlit screen, that's what will solve the problem. There is no converter in a backlit led display

  If you feel uncomfortable with do it yourself you will save a little. The price range is very broad since it is a touch screen and the high-end model.   According to the manual, the unique connection is Ethernet. The USB port is used to connect flash drives. For a VXI-11 instrument, open MAX and right-click devices and Interfaces. Select create new > resources TCP/IP VISA. If the detection does not work, make sure that you can test the instrument.
