  Currently, if I have to say, page 97 to be page 82, the only way to do it is to extract page 97 to a separate pdf file (Acrobat X, see menu Tools, Pages, extract Pages and select Remove after extraction).  Then after the backup off-page 97 in a separate file, I have to import this file into the correct location... in this case, after the 81 page (in Acrobat X, see the Tools menu, Pages, inserting file, then select after page 81).  It is tedious and error-prone.  I want to drag and drop pages to reorganize within the document - similar to how you could drag and drop files within a portfolio - but have not found a way to do it.  Any ideas on how to make it simpler?  I had to re - order 25 pages of a document of 100 pages and it took almost two days of work!

  Kosal,

  For this you will need to create a VO where you pass the parameter like employee ID. This will return your MangerId using vo.first ().

  Once you are able to get the value, you must set the corresponding bean.

  There is no need to use the PPR for this requirement.

• How can I change the formats for left and right pages?

  First timer here in the Apple community so forgive my mistakes.

  Works with Apple Pages 5.6.1 on a MacBook Air, try to format a book for automatic printing. I want to do different for left and right pages headers and footers, and margins so that, for example, the page numbers appear outside of the page rather than all the beings in the lower right.

  Is it possible? I googled around and it seems page was once able to do, but the feature was removed thereafter. I have reviewed in the Document and Format menus and sought help, but no joy so far.

  Any help much appreciated.

  Not possible on Pages 5.6.1 which is absent from the reams of features.

  Use instead the Pages ' 09.

• Why Pages 5.6.1 creates large files?

  I just changed 5 version of iWork 09 Pages (because, frankly, I prefer the previous iteration), but I moved but I am very frustarted with relatively huge files it produces.

  For example, a page file a text-only page is almost 1 MB in size. The exported file is much smaller than 100 KB. Some will say whatever that these files are 1 MB when you have TB of storage available, but which is not probably the issue.

  If an exported file is 10 x smaller then why don't Apple produce a meager same documents.

  It goes the same for numbers v Excel. The Excel files are still way smaller than their counterparts from Apple. I won't go to the office; Mac, but I'd like to see the next version of Pages, Numbers and Keynote to offer significantly reduced files.

  I use a MacBook Pro 2011 end with recently upgraded hard drive (500 GB SSD) and doubled for the 8GB maximum RAM. I also had a new battery installed Apple (the first new condition in more than 4 years).

  If there is a way to set Pages to produce smaller sizes of default file, I'd love to hear from you.

  Pages 5.x is what it is. Bloated, inefficient and devoid of a very long list of features really basic, with Apple pretty much lost interest in it.

  Why I and many others barely used and sticks with Pages ' 09.

  I'm working on an application to replace our current generation of report with Diadem program.  Our test feature allows us to perform the same test with different boundary conditions.  Each test receives its own section in the final report.  Given that the test type is the same, the pages of the report are exactly the same model and layout and channel names.  When I process the data incoming I appoint depending on the section of report groups and report page, they are applied to the (Section = year, Page = Y16, group name = YR_Y16).  All sections have a list of pages that are created.  When there are several tests, then the corresponding sections are named by adding a 1, 2, 3... at the end of the Section (YR1, YR2,...) resulting in group names like YR1_Y16, YR2_Y16, etc. etc.  Channels for a specific page (Y16) carry the same names, and the name of the Group (YR_Y16, YR1_Y16, YR2_Y16), that's what makes them unique.

  My question is about how to better use the TDR files to create report pages.  I know I have to create a TDR separate for each type of page (Y15, Y16) because content and information varies from page, but for any page Y16 channel names are the same with the unique group name.  Is there a way to put the call on TDR in a loop which changes the name of the group when it is called while I only type Y16 RDT to maintain the page.  If possible, that she keeps the number of TDR is to maintian to 213.  If it is not possible then I'll have to file TDR 1533 to maintain because we let to 9 of each type of test.

  Attached is a file of TDR example report page (Y16), and a CT file that contains a set of data for the Y16 page in sections YR YR1 YR2, etc..

  I know this can be confusing, so do not hesitate to ask questions.  I use Diadem 11.0 SP1.

  Hi Wayne,

  Yes, it is possible to reuse a set of TDRs by adding each and then programmatically reconfiguring to point to a specific group in the data portal.  I enclose below the architecture that I always use to do this.  In this case there is that one sheet by TDR, but you could add a loop in each of the leaves of the file last TDR added to generalize this approach to TDR multi-page files.

• I can not display the page numbers of my books

  I want to sort my books pdf by number of pages, but when I add this detail (Pages) in the folder the whole column is empty.

  How can I get page numbers to display?
  I tried the following far with the following results:
  1. the folder does not give me the ability to edit the details of the file when I right click on it so I can't enter the page numbers manually.
  2. when I right click and check the properties of the available tabs are general, sharing and customize.  Customize tab only allows me to change the folder icon.
  3 when I select the properties of one of the pdf books in the folder tabs only I get are general, Pdf, and resume and I am unable to add the page number, use one of these tabs as well.
  4. I downloaded 'Quick pdf tools' that allows me to be able to change the pdf information because I thought that the reason why the column is empty is because the PDF itself does not page number filled in, but by viewing the properties with this tool, I am able to see that the page numbers for all the pdf files are listed (and can not be changed) so I don't understand not why the column for pages shows blank in the windows folder.
  What I resorted to that adds the keywords column to the file and write the page numbers in this column because the information I enter in this field will appear in the windows folder column.  I have a number of books, and it's a little disheartening to think that I must do this for each book when the information is already there for example the page number.
  So, if anyone can let me know what I can do to make the Pages column displays the number of pages rather than remain just an empty column, I would be very grateful.

  If you want to move an element upwards or downwards in the list (higher appear to the left in "Détails" view), click on the item in question and press the 'Move up' and 'down '.

• HP Laserjet P2015d: HP P2015d duplex printing blank first page

  Hello everyone

  I have in my office, among other things, the printers two HP Laserjet 2015b. We use it on Windows XP, 7 and 10. Whenever I put them for the first time, I have the same problem with the drivers.

  From XP and ending with 10, there are 3 packs of drivers, PCL5, PCL6 and Psalm none of them installs ok, printers work, but there is a problem in duplex printing, gives me a headache. I try to only print only one page (for example: 1 page, current page, etc.), printers print on both sides of the paper, first white and the text on the second.

  In XP and 7 that I managed to solve the problem in a very strange way, install a software package and manually change the driver with that of another pack! For example, I installed PCL 6 and I changed in the printer properties Advanced pilot, the PCL 5 driver. And that after many attempts to find the best combination!

  Now, I have improved my work to 10 Windows 32 bit laptop and I can not solve the problem either. Any driver, I choose the 3 special indeed for Windows 10 or fom those made for 7 or XP, try to only print that one page in duplex, the printer prints on both sides of the sheet of paper, white on the first and on the second text! And I find no option in the settings of the printer to solve this problem.

  Thank you all for the advice and opinions. I did it!

  After many, many attempts, I noticed a small option "allow manual duplex", which was enabled by default, and which appeared in print (MS Word and other programms) main window only when selected duplex! Strange! I disabled it in the Advanced tab of the printer properties and everything is normal now!

  Now I can use the printer again only in "duplex" mode, and it prints a page "simplex" and the two following pages "duplex", because it suppose to do!
