• Determine the specific user permissions for a script

  With a bit of advice from LucD (thanks!), I finished a script simple last night that removes the clones, defines the network cards, takes snapshots, etc to automate a procurement process.

  Initially, I was running the script as a user with limited permissions but frustrating after a few hours, I found that I couldn't see some objects with this user.  I tried (briefly) extend the privileges on the role of the user has been assigned, but I couldn't get the right combination and finally gave up and executed the script as an administrator and it worked.

  I hope that someone will be there to tell me there is a quick and easy to run a Profiler against a script (or look at the server logs) which lists the specific permissions are required when running a script?  I suspect that would save a lot of time on trying to figure out which of the hundreds of privileges must be defined for the user running the script.  If not, I'm going to nuclear dawn somewhat undesirable to administrator.

  This looks like some sort of an old question, but I was working just by there myself. I managed to do work in doing this;

  1. go to computer files that you want to share (action)
  2. Right-click on the folder or files
  3. You should get a menu asking if you want to share with homegroup, so yes, it should be complete at this stage
  4. If you don't get this click with the right button on the menu, then the residential group is not defined in law. You must both PCs has joined the same homegroup and who needs to work before sharing specific files.

  Dell Bostro 1000 using Vista.  When you try to open a session as long as the message from the administrator that is displayed is "the user profile Service has no logon.  Pfoile of the user cannot be loaded.  The administrator can connect to a different user account.  When she tries to reinstall Vista she gets the following message: must remove the power cell.

  Hey,.

  is it possible to store user-specific responses of RESTING in the sqlite DB and also reading for the current user?

  The idea is that another user can log on to the same device and receives different data from webservice - but the old user data could contain changes offline and cannot be deleted.

  A column for the specific user in each table would solve that problem, but it is possible to map a variable session scope of te to a column in the persistence - mapping.xml to hold the data of the user next to eachother and filter for the current user?

  Best way to do this is to override the executeLocalFindAll method in your class of service to restrict the query based on the current user. Something like this:

  @Override

  List protection executeLocalFindAll()

  searchAttrs.add ("UserName");

  To get the current username stored with each row in each table, is a little more complicated, you can not specify such a value in persistence - mapping.xml.

  What you could do is:

  -Add the user name attribute to each data object

  -Add the USER_NAME column for each table

  -Add the mapping of attr user name for each class descriptor in the persistence-mapping

  -In the constructor by default each Java class data object, set the user name in assessing #{securityContext.userName}

  After a service call is made, the created entities will all have the username and these features are used to create lines in the comic book.

  When loading of the lines of the DB, this value by default user name will be substituted bby the value stored in the DB (but if alweays filter on the current user is not serious)

  Or, another approach is to create a subclass of the DBPersistenceManager and override the insertEntity method to add the user name attribute or, if you want to add the column, not the attribute to each entity, override the method insertRow.

  Note that in waiting for the actions of synchronization data by a previous user will be synchronized first when the current user is back online.

• received a message that other users have logged on to my computer

  When I rebooted my computer which i rarely stop/restart, I received a message stating that the other users are logged on and I wanted to go forward.  There should be no one else except my admin account & a guest account. I ran MS Security Scan which found nothing. Should I be worried? Should I do something else?

  My computer is a Gateway desktop computer around the age of 20 months, under Vista 64-bit, do not know what other information you might need.

• Remote Desktop - conflict between the remote control and the host user?

  We set up Microsoft Remote Desktop on a Mac with a remote computer that is running Windows 7 Professional.

  What happens when:

  1. the remote user tries to connect to the Windows host computer while someone is working on it?

  2. a person is trying to work on the host computer, and the remote user is logged?

  Is the second locked user, is there a warning of the conflict, or is there another way that Remote Desktop manage such a conflict?
