Exhibitor/index in the Notes?

I use Notes in El Capitan for course notes which involve mathematical equations.

Is there a quick way to get (i.e. x-squared) exhibitors and clues?

Hi Frank

You can create your own keyboard shortcuts for the exhibitor and clues, and almost any other item of Menu. You can do for "any Application" or a specific Application such as Notes.

Go to System Preferences > keyboard > App Shortcuts (left column) > shortcuts (tab)

Click on the icon "+" near the bottom; then in top pop up choose Applications or scroll down to 'Notes' If you select a single application it is the shortcut will be applied to.

You must use the lettering exactly as it appears in the Menu. Notes Super/index located in the Format > font > Baseline > XX

In the field type of the title of the Menu "Exhibitor" (without the quotes) click the hotkey field and type what you want to use as a shortcut.

Pages use Ctrl + cmmd += this. (Attention: you want to use unique not already used shortcuts; or use the shortcut as well as other applications.)

Click Add

Now do the same for 'index '.

Add your shortcut (Pages use Ctrl + cmmd + - (less)) you can use any combo not used by other applications or if you want only for Notes.

Click on Add.

Now you have the shortcuts instant keyboard.

There is also an excellent free app called "cheating" which will show you all the keyboard shortcuts for which window you are in pressing cmmd for a few seconds. This will include everything that you create. Link... https://www.mediaatelier.com/cheatsheet/

You can also use the tab 'Text' shortcuts to create text expansions.

Hope this helps, Greg

I have a few titles in my book ends with a character exponent or index. When I create the table of contents, points (tab) and the page number for these titles are written in address/subscription.

I tried to create a syle of specificity for the character of the exhibitor/index, but these are inherited in the table of contents.

I also tried to break the link to the style, specific character, however, the problem is that the entire title lost its reference to style and is not printed in the table of contents.

We solved this problem in configureing the paragraph style that we used to tab (points) and the number in the table of contents to have only the Normal Position. This way we had set up every title that has the subscription.

  • What is the difference between primary key and unique indexes with forced not null?

Primary key is = unique index + not null?

    The short answer is Yes.

However, even if the primary key, applying both uniquness and not null, there is a notion of "special".

You can only have one primary key in tables, but you can have multiple unique indexes and constraints not null.

  • create indexes on the upper part of the column - reminders function is not deterministic

    Hi all

I'm having a problem on a database. When you create an index on an existing table on the upper part of a column, Oracle triggers an ORA-30553. I've done this 40 index other databases, with the same and different versions, without problem. When you create the index on a copy of the table, it is created with success...

    Hi all

Thank you for the answers. I found the problem:

On the table, there are 54 index:

    Select index_type, uniqueness, count (*) from user_indexes where table_name = 'FSYNRELATIE '.

    Index_type group, uniqueness

    INDEX_TYPE SINGLE CHARACTER COUNT (*)
    FIELD ARE NOT UNIQUE 1
BASED ON A NORMAL FUNCTION ARE NOT UNIQUE 4
    NORMAL UNIQUE 3
    NORMAL ARE NOT UNIQUE 46

3 unique indexes are the primary key and 2 another witch number field contains unique identifiers for rows in other systems. The domain index is an index of Oracle text on a couple of fields. There are 3 indices of function based on a high on a field and 1 on an individual function. This last clue has caused the problem. Apparently, on the creation, this function is deterministic, but when rolling a new version of the software. It became a non-deterministic function. When I delete the index, my original index on upper (sre_e_mail) has been created successfully! Now, I did the deterministic function again and could recreate the function without problem.

    Thanks for your comments!

Why is he would not use the index in the group by? If I write a loop to search for different partnerid (there are only three), things together takes less than a second. Any help is appreciated.

BTW, I too gave the index indicator. Did not work. Version mentioned in the example.

the actual names are 'cleaned' for obvious reasons. Don't worry, I don't have the name of the tables in different cases.

    RPuttagunta wrote:

Looks like either I called index_ss asked Jonathan a bad indicator, or, I don't know if he used the 'skip scan ".

You don't specify correctly, it should be: index_ss (table_alias) or index_ss (table_alias index_name) or index_ss (table_alias (list of columns to index)).

But I just tried a quick test on 11.2.0.3, and he does not have what we would really like to do.

  • Index of the question - do not include the cost

    Hello

I have a table of 112mil lines that I copied to a new tablespace, which worked well
I am so adding indexes to the copied table, but gets enormous costs in plans by trying to make a request using the new index, similar to quirying the original table/index

First of all I tired to change my main index to an another initial tablespace more great extension, and even if I remove all cela and put it in the table space as well as the original index and created the same way, I get the same huge difference.

In most om my system this will cause queries that the CBO does not use the index, and applications get very slow. If I do a simple select statement, and the index is selected, even if the cost is enormous, the moment of the actual query is the same as the original table/query. I can't get the cost of the change index by trying different dbms_stats.gather_index_stats settings

Can someone tell me why this new index comes up with such a huge cost, and what I can do to lower the cost, so that the index gets actually chosen?

Look at the stats of the table, not the index statistics. Cardinalities are extremely different.
Specifically, what are the high and low values on the utc_date column.
(The old table statistics are probably days or weeks, obsolete).

I tried to do in the pages and the best option is to use an endnote, but I need to change the Exhibitor in order to appear ' doc 1 ' ' doc 2 '' ' doc 3 "" doc 4 "instead of"1""2"'3' '4' only." ""»

    Is this possible?

Y at - it another option in addition to the note?

    Thank you

No one who wants to get hired puts notes/endnotes in their curriculum vitae. If you do this, you write a report, not a professional CV, which should be in a concise and standardized format (mainly for the very picky, the applicant tracking software). I suggest that you omit the end notes/notes and do research on what constitutes a professional cover letter and resume writing for your job sector target.

  • Get the current Index of the Ring System

I need to know the index of the ring box that is currently displayed on the front panel during execution.

The ring box values do not necessarily correspond to their clues so I can just wire the ring box itself to property [] DisabledItems.

The way I'm going to get the index of the item "displayed" the control of the ring is as follows:

A reading in the strings [] property returns an array of strings of the 'Elements' of the order of the ring.

A reading in the RingtText.Text that returns the string value of the current item displayed in the control of the ring.

I use the search function to search in the array of strings to the current text, and it gives me the index of the current item displayed in the control of the ring.

Is there a way to get the index of the currently displayed index of the ring directly control?

    In a Word, no.

the method that you use is the easiest.  If the srtings are very long, you could unbudle [channels] and property values and this table just to save a few (very minor) research paper.  Keep in mind, control system properties depend on the operating system

  • For automatic indexing loop should not index empty array

    Hi guys,.

I wanted to say in this VI remove empty elements in the table. He worked for table 1 d, but as soon as I gave him a table 2D, for some reason that I was unable to remove empty elements:

So when I was debugging, I saw at the 3rd row and 4th iteration of line, out of the inside OF the terminal loop index outter loop is [].

Should not the terminal of the index of the outer loop treat [] as 'skip it '?

In this case, the tunnel of indexation in the outer loop takes an empty 1-d array and adds it as a line to the 2D table. Because the 2D tables can not be serrated, it fills the remaining elements of the line (all) with the default value. Maybe we could say that an empty array should mean 'add all', but this behavior goes back very far and I don't know what effect this would have. As mentioned, it is easy enough to do what you want with a conditional append in the outer loop.

I mean what you described certainly applies if [] a something, but in this case it didn't. To prove the point, try something like this:

Check the size of the table. You will find that it is 3,0,0. In other words, you have 3 pages, each with an empty 2D array, which is exactly what builds your code.

I try to avoid dealing with > 2D paintings and which deals with the cases where they can be empty, so I don't remember the details of why this happens, but IIRC, it follows the rules of the system.

  • 'For' loop with a different number of iterations. Second, the auto-indexation of the tables with different sizes is done. It can affect the performance of the Vi?

    Hello

I have a loop 'for' which can take different number of iterations according to the number of measures that the user wants to do.

Inside this loop, I'm auto-indexation four different 1 d arrays. This means that the size of the tables will be different in the different phases of the execution of the program (the size will equal the number of measures).

My question is: the auto-indexation of the tables with different sizes will affect the performance of the program? I think it slows down my Vi...

    Thank you very much.

My first thought is that the compiler to the LabVIEW actually removes the Matlab node because the outputs are not used.  Once you son upward, LabVIEW must then call Matlab and wait for it to run.  I know from experience, the call of Matlab to run the script is SLOW.  I also recommend to do the math in native LabVIEW.
