Exit via LabVIEW tension control

Hello

I'm trying to control an AC output voltage of 0 ~ 250V using LabVIEW, but I could not find any device that makes this kind of operation and can communicate with LabVIEW. All available NEITHER Renault only operate in low-voltage (-10/10V) for the generation of signals. Nobody knows everything power or the method could make this function?

Thank you!

Kenny

Really, you have not used your Google-fu if you do not find a programmable power of ca. Keysight and California Instruments are just two of several suppliers.

  • 22D133B: replaced charger DVD - no play, pause, stop, etc via the remote control

    Hello

I have a 22D1333B in for repair because it would not play the DVD. I replaced the charger DVD (part No. 75040787) and the unit will now play DVDs ok but the DVD section will not respond to the remote control.

All other TV functions operate via the remote control without any problem. It's just the DVD section.

I cured the last of them by exchanging the PCB on the new DVD unit with that of the old unit, but this certainly isn't the way to address this problem.

I downloaded and installed the software on the site of Vestel and updated the software for the Toshiba site. The fault remains.

Any help to solve this problem would be welcome.

    T.I.A.

In my opinion the new DVD drive isn't fully compatible with the remote control (type) RC1910 that was included in the box.

I think you should get in contact with the authorized service provider to fix this

  • How to use Labview to control the motorized turntable?

    Hello

I am new to Labview and do a project that requires the use of labview to control the motorized turntable (XYZ axes). I need to use the Labview programming and have no idea at all. Need help, thank you very much!

    Lei,

Everything said by others is correct and to do because they describe, at a given time. But I always approached these projects of motion control first by looking at the 'motion controller' (I hope you have a) and 'drivers' (what you need) between the computer/LabVIEW and engines decide what communications will be required for these devices and get an idea of the syntax of command and the language to use with them.  In some cases, the controller and the motor driver are integrated in a single unit. Heck, in some cases, they are even integrated with each engine.

The motors can be the stepper motors or perhaps servomotors.

In the case of drivers stepper (devices that provide power electronics to run the engines), many of them are run using only two control signals for digital called 'step' (a pulse train) and 'direction' (high-low level) and if it is possible to generate directly with the PC, it's an order of magnitude easier (if you have not already a library of available motion control to manage the generation of these signals and) the execution of the stepper motors) of having a "Motion Controller" between the PC and the "motor".  Engine drivers step by step usually can be configured that current engine and the size of the stage and sometimes for the other plus-moteur/driver-parameter setting. The configuration of these can be made with jumpers, switches or, for some drivers, with orders ASCII on some sort of port of communication, but in general these are values you download the installer once at the beginning and then never touch again if you do not need generally to have a full time available on their change communication path.

In the case of the actuator drivers (once again the devices that provide power electronics to run the engines), many use a +/-10V control input analog signal, and, again, while it is possible to generate the signal directly with the PC hardware, a separate axes controller is usually much simpler and more robust.  In the case of a servo system, there is also a signal back to an encoder or resolver attached to the engine to be used by any device will exercise the motion controller in the system.  There are once again associated with the driver configuration parameters (and controller in this case, since it is part of the servo feedback loop) which must be configured at the start but once set up properly, they rarely need to be changed again.

A movement controller which is separated from the PC often manage several drivers, and can often coordinate a movement between them. It will load the rise up/down of the engine speed as that changes. It will be followed by position of each motor. The servo system, but it will take the feedback signal and use it to adjust the speed/position/torque of the engine. The motion controller also deal with race and home or index of signals is usually on most lines of movement and provide information of the State of the switch to the PC.   To run the motor controller is then just a matter of chaining a set commands of (usually ASCII) to indicate how fast to run and how far to go (and direction) and by sending a command "do it." Then, ask you to keep track of the status of the process and the States of the switches.

In many cases the builders of controllers of movement are a primitive way to communicate with the controllers of a PC with no additional software other than what they offer. With this you can at least have an idea of how different the controller commands and responses they produce. That you can start to build sequences of commands to perform the actions you want.

You can then add LabVIEW to the mix and to understand how you can get it to send sequences of similar orders on the paths of communication that are available and respond intelligently to the information it receives in return for motion control.

  • Tandberg Edge 95 MXP Password reset via the remote control

    Hello

I try to reset the IP password via the remote control and still get the complaint that the password must be at least 8 characters and the number. I tried all combinaiton of 8 characters and 1 number, 8 characters and 2 numbers, 6 tanks and 2 numbers, 4 characters and 4 numbers, number 8 characters and 1 number 1 and so on. Is there something special about looking for the system?

    Thanks for the support!

PS. When I telnet into the system, it shows TANDBERG Codec Release F7.2 PAL / SW Release Date: 2008-10-31, so I guess it is 7.2.

Do you know if strict password is enabled or not?

By default, that is, unless you have turned it off at some point, which will ask for a password at least 15 characters that contains 2 lowercase letters, 2 caps, 2 numbers and 2 special characters.  You can check by connecting to the endpoint using SSH or Telnet and runs the API command below:

    xConfiguration StrictPassword
Here are the steps to reset the password to access IP on a TANDBERG MXP endpoint, I suggest that you try to use the API to change the password by logging on to the endpoint by Telnet or SSH instead of the remote control. The most recent software MXP is F9.3.4, suggest you also improve your point of termination to the latest version to mitigate the security issues with the older software. You can contact TAC and advisory security cisco-sa-20140605-openssl to get a key to unlock so you can upgrade your MXP to software F9 of reference, from there, you can upgrade to F9.3.4.

  • Problem creating DEV_PORTAL via the remote control

    Hello

I would really appreciate your help to meet slot problem:

in OBIE11g when creating patterns via the remote control, all the patterns, I chose to be created are working well except DEV_PORTAL, which throws the error

    SQL error when connecting with thin driver (DESCRIPTION = (ADDRESS_LIST = (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP)(HOST=HOST_NAME) (PORT = 1521))) (CONNECT_DATA = (SERVICE_NAME = SERVICE_NAME))): ORA-01017: invalid user name password login denied

The problem is this role/user/password is correct, because:

1 other patterns are created by using the same credentials (with SYSDBA rola)
    2. I can connect (via SQL developer) to database using the same settings and everything works

I encountered a similar problem on the forum under

Creating DEV_PORTAL schema for Oracle Forms

but without any solution working :(

    Thanks in advance

Why you install DEV_PORTAL scheme, for the installation of obiee 11g select Oracel Business Intelligence in the performance of the remote control. It will install only two MDS and BIPlatform patterns.

  • EXIT button on the control bar using?

    Greetings from vacation at all.

The button exit on the playback control bar (X) does anything, let alone to leave the application on Chrome, Firefox or IE. Hover over the button of the mouse, and the ToolTip says "Exit". But if it executes any action at all I can't understand what it is.

I tried to do a search on it, enter in the search box seems to hang the web page, so I can't find out if it is a well-known problem, and that if there is a workaround.

    Thanks for any help.

    Karl

OK, thanks for the link Rick. You are always a great resource, thanks for all your good work!

I think that if only the output control is not working properly, they should just remove the darn thing and allow users to deal with the release of the way they would any other web page. That's there and not work them does not honor.

  • Stop and exit Vi LabVIEW

I don't understand why I need to stop it and leave labview vi.  When a program running finish, isn't it stop automatically?  Why is the judgment that VI necessary?  If vi stops automatically when it's done, could not the programmer write the program in such a way that would cause the vi to stop when necessary without using the stop vi?

When a program runs in exe, why quiting labviw is necessary?  Is not all leave at the end of the program?  Developing, there is really no reason for the developer to the LabVIEW to exit automatically, right?

    jyang72211 wrote:

You can never have the stop.vi. Its function is similar to the button stop unconditionally abort VI, even if he is caught in the trap in a parallel loop that cannot be stopped directly because of incorrect coding. Given the current state of the other parts of the code is random when stop is called, the result can be very unpredictable and the program may quit without a shutdown sequence appropriate, leaving your rotation of the instrument or the tensions of hight lit.

For more details, read the online help. I never use it!

'Quit LabVIEW' has similar problems. You don't really want to use it during development, because you have unsaved changes.

My largest applications do not have a stop button and can only be stopped with the [X] in the upper right. (Like any typical program: when was the last time that you had first "stop" and internet explorer or MS word?: d) I use event filtering to catch it, throw, throw a clean shutdown and after all is done, either stop in the development system or exit labview in the case of a built application (see image code).

  • LabVIEW VI controls don't bind to my dashboard OR data

Why controls in my link of VI labview for the dashboard of data OR used? My indicators link perfectly. When I set up the server and then do the 'interrogate web service' on the dashboard of data, it never shows me the control options link.

It seems that there is some problems with your web service URL mapping. The method of "inputs" pointed the bad VI (COAST.vi instead of inputs.vi). And inputs.vi controls had spaces in their names, which meant that LabVIEW could not create the automatic URL mapping. I have attached a project and VI which has these problems solved. If you rebuild and redeploy the web service, I hope you can see the entries in the data table.

  • LabVIEW for control unlimited, a camera and a light meter (Minolta T - 10A)

    Hello world

I'm totally new in the use of data acquisition software, but I found out, I use LabView for continuous measures (intervals of 15 min for 1 month or maybe more), the thing is that I need to get pictures simoultanously (Canon camera EOS) and illumination (in lux) device: Minolta T-10 a vision series T-10MA. My question is what software LabVIEW do I need to buy (or my institution actually) in order to get this. I look at the options of LabVIEW software and cannot understand what is needed. Subsequently, I guess that I need controllers for each of the devices (minolta and canon). Can you please tell me if this is possible and how to do it. I would really appreciate it.

    Steph.

The following items are required: LabVIEW full, all drivers of devices (including DAQmx and pilots of the Vision) and the Acquisition of Vision software package.

The Minolta luxometer has a connector for a PC and some communication software (which I did not inspect) which, I suppose, would allow you to take readings.  There is a comment about current if the USB cable is connected - I don't check if there is a power connector on the luxometer (since you will need to leave it plugged in for a month, the same problem with the camera).  As far as the camera is concerned, I don't know if it is controlled from a PC - my experience has been with (the size of 640 x 480 pixels) video cameras, which are probably controlled by LabVIEW.

As for simultaneous readings, it is something that LabVIEW did pretty well.  I advise you to consult a professional if it's anything other than a school project, maybe even hire someone to work a few week of.

  • LabVIEW digital control does not raise an event changed value when the button entry is hit

I used to be able to type a value in a numeric control of LabVIEW, then press 'Enter' to trigger an event "changed value".  Then at some point, this no longer works.  I have to click elsewhere to trigger the event of value has changed.  The up and down arrow keys work always, but just typing a number then press enter does not work.  Is this a configuration settings got accidentally changed?  Help, please!

  • Call COM components as a service Windows 7 (NOT A WEB SERVICE!) via LabVIEW

First of all, what I'm trying to do is completely new terrority for me and I've looked everywhere, impossible to find a solution. I have reviewed the following resources and tried to get out but nothing helps:

    [1] ActiveX and LabVIEW
    http://www.NI.com/white-paper/2983/en

    [2] ActiveX and COM - part I
    http://www.NI.com/white-paper/2981/en

[3] tutorial: Configure the node of the function of the library Call to call a Simple DLL
    https://decibel.NI.com/content/docs/doc-9069

My problem is that I got a COM which was installed to run as a Windows 7 service, always running in the background (service.msc). So far, it seems only to be an intuition that you shoul dbe able to use:

    (A) ActiveX in LabVIEW to call the COM object by name or the .dll file.

    (B) call the .dll file of the service using the library function node call

I see the COM running as a service if I (service.msc). I see also two .dll files associated with this service (they have the same base name as the service running). Let's say the service is called "TestService" then the other two .dll are called "TestServicePK.dll" and "TestServiceXY.dll." In test ActiveX and node library function call, I tried to call the two .dll files. When I tried the ActiveX method I get "the selected file is not a .NET, type library or executable automation assembly."

Also COM binaries were made in C++, but if I understand well there should not be a problem at least for the library call feature.

This seems to be a case of corner.

    Actually COM! = ActiveX!

COM uses ActiveX to implements its objects and also to instantiate and control their but COM is simply a binary model of the API and some functions to control the instantiation and the lifecycle of objects COM, nothing else. The only way to access COM objects correctly (when no ActiveX type library is provided) is to have a C (++) compiler that can analyze the header files according to interface with the interface object methods. All ActiveX controls use COM to implement the interface calling of their objects, but also adds a type library in the DLL and a few other niceties such as the properties of the object. This type library describes how to match the properties and methods of the ActiveX for real virtual table COM interface pointers.

LabVIEW lists this type library in order to be able to interface to the COM, Active X objects interface. A pure COM library is missing all these subtleties. If LabVIEW would be favourable to a COM interface node, its configuration should allow the configuration of all the things that describes the type library. This configuration would require a lot of manual configuration details, similar to what the library node call, only a magnitude more complex. If this is not really an option.

If your server COM DLL does not an ActiveX type library interface, the only way to access it in LabVIEW must obtain such a type library as an external interface (not possible for all COM components) or to wrap the COM DLL server by a traditional DLL, which translates the methods standard COM exported C functions then that may be called by the node library call.

Creating a library of types from a single COM DLL is more or less unfeasable. You should at least have the original IDL file that was used to create the interface com write a C (++) wrapper for your object COM is very probably the most practical approach, but will require some good C programming knowledge as well as experience handling COM objects in C code.

    Hi DK,.

The Module digital output NI9474 high-speed Sourcing should be more than enough.

In fact, we have a demo of work available by using the AL5D and NI CompactRIO. The concept should always be the same property.
