• Problem Touchpad Y570.

  I discovered that the keyboard seems to replace the touchpad on my y570. If I have a key, the mouse does not move and then takes a second to answer so I left space on the key. I tried a USB mouse, and there is no problem. Any thoughts on what could be the cause and what can be done to remedy the situation?

  BTW, I just got the system and all drivers are in stock.

  There is a feature in Synaptics Touchpad called PalmCheck. To disable:

  Click Start > type "mouse" and select the first option. Click the device settings tab:

  

  Click settings. Expand tab Pointing and find Palm check:

  

  Click on the gear. Slide the bar completely to the left:

  

  Close and you should be good.

  This applies to all THE Ideapads too.

• Menu and other font sizes too small

  I am running Windows 8 on a Dell XPS 13 ". For some reason, some, but not all, of the text is small enough to be practically illegible. It was not a problem until now, when I'm trying to run Studio Android.

  

  As you can see on the image as an attachment, the text in the console is a good 3 to 4 percentage points smaller than the text of the menu and almost impossible to read on a screen size of 13 ". The same applies to the icons, they are absolutely tiny. I tried to adjust the screen resolution and the parameters "Change only the size of the text", but they do nothing. Anyone has an idea why this happens and what can be done to remedy this? I bought this laptop specifically to learn how to write code, and if I can't do it then, it was a waste of money.

  UPDATE: I think it has something to do with running applications in mode "64 bit". I have a copy of Photoshop CS5 and Photoshop CS5. Photoshop is 64-bit, and menu fonts are tiny. Illustrator is NOT 64-bit (I guess that means it's 32-bit) and the fonts in the menu there are fine. I don't know the exact implications, but I think that has got to be a factor.

  It is clear to me from your screenshot that the interface of the program is expanded (tabs/menus), so it seems that your bet at the current DPI scale has the value probably of 125% or 150%.  But the program itself is not enforced across the inner text (code).  This means that the program does not understand how to use screens high definition, so that you are able to either bump to the top of the font size, the program uses, or lower your DPI so that your fonts are at least consistent (using 100%).

  I use Adboe Story and I wonder how I can make characters who have no dialogue is recognized in the list of characters, and ultimately in the reports?

  For example, if there is a character with dialogue, history asks me to add this character to the list of characters, and it appears in the list of distribution for example.   You can add these characters "speaking" in a scene in the properties of the scene Panel.

  If the steps will be

  -Script open

  -Open the Panel properties of the stage thanks to "view > properties of scene Panel ' option"

  -Go to the appropriate scene, expand tab characters and click the button Modify to add characters to "Mute".

• Tab titles Safari do not expand fully when I hover over title to label

  Before my 10.11.4 ElCapitan updated, if I had a few tabs open in a Safari window and toss over a tab title it would display the full title of the tab for example instead of "start new Di... "the title could expand to" start new Discussion " Community of Apple support' in a small rectangle.

• CS6 - expand/collapse tab groups via Double click

  Hello

  I noticed in CS6 I can no longer double click on a tab group to minimize and expand it. While you can always 'collapse' of the group, that leaves a lot of the group showing with the icons and titles. I used the spotlight to minimize and expand the Group of tabs all the time, especially with the Group of search results and the Group of files. It was an oversight that this feature has been removed (via double click) or it has been voluntarily deleted? Are there plans for this feature back as it was very useful for my team here to quickly show/hide these groups.

  A simple click on the tab rather than the header will expand the group.  Double click on the tab is necessary to reduce.

• MacBook Pro running Mac OS 10.6. The font size for tabs and bookmarks toolbar is too small for comfortable reading for older eyes. Is there a way to change or expand?

  The font size is smaller and harder to read than on FF 3.x. Want to make some larger or to choose a different, more readable font altogether.

• It seems to be a problem with javascript on youtube (and other sites), because nothing happens when I click on my user name "tab" next to logout, when a menu needs to expand. I have unintalled FF, addons reinstalled, removed and checked the settings. Work
