Have you downloaded the drivers of Windows 8 manufacturer of video device for your product?

If the video hardware is not supported by the manufacturer under Windows 8... You may be out of luck.  Given to tell you, you've gone from Windows XP to Windows 8 - there is a distinct possibility, which is a pretty old machine for that to be the case.

The DOM Inspector shows that the search container has two rule to set the minimum width:

    • min-width: calc (54px + 11hp);
    • min-width: 25ch.

You need to replace this minimum to help reduce the search beyond this minimum bar.

  • Why do the monitors on Windows XP suddenly change their colors?

Mine has suddenly changed his light greenish blue to dark green, and the icons on my desktop are reddish.  A few sites I visit are difficult to read.  I was trying to access some info at the time flash player.  Can anyone suggest how to fix this?  It's very frustrating.  Thank you.

The graphics 'card' he pilots and drivers can be updated, but I doubt that the problems you are having are associated drivers.

The "map" can be a map of component discrete snap or maybe it's just the chips that are integrated into the motherboard of the PC. Look at where you connect the VGA monitor cable. If there are plenty of other (different) connectors on the same plate then your motherboard has an integrated graphics card. If there is only one (or maybe two) connectors, so you have a discrete graphics card.

I repeat my previous opinion, if you can't get through test yourself, take the PC and follow for a repair installation, ideally one that you can get a recommendation for and put the matter in hand. Try to get the free diagnosis, it shouldn't take more than a few minutes. Then, get a quote before agreeing to pay anything.

  • Problem with the resolution of the screen on Windows 7. Help.

Shot something went wrong with my resolution to screen on windows 7. It worked fine until the last day, but when I turned on my desk today, don't be was not passed the windows logo 7 at startup, so I turned off and then back on it and did a repair startup that did not set the startup, then I did a system restore and it worked.

However, when I connected, the screen resolution changed from 1024 x 768 and recommended resolution is 1440 x 900 . All other resolutions are available, except that which is required for my HP monitor. I have tried a few things to fix the problem, as the system restore, reinstalled-graphics, reinstalled the Windows 7 operating system several times but nothing happed. Help, please. Here is a screenshot of resolution available.

    Help. Help. Help.

This should get the correct resolution listed.

Find and install the drivers for the monitor for Windows: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/bph02073

Also if you have an NVIDIA graphics card, you can create a resolution custom from the NVIDIA Control Panel.

  • No signal on monitor after Windows 8 logo

I have a Lenovo H430-2558-1ZU desktop computer running Windows 8 Pro with Media Center. I used it all of a sudden the video was cut, then I had no signal on the screen. I restarted and after Windows 8 logo, I get no Signal on the monitor. Windows 8 is running because I can hear sounds from the speakers. After using this method, I started in safe mode. I uninstalled the graphics card driver Intel HD of safe mode and restarted in normal mode. It was fine for a few minutes, but then I had no signal on the screen. So I started in new safe mode and uninstalled the driver. I installed a new Web site driver for intel, but I still have the same problem. I tried uninstalling the driver for the monitor, but still have the same question. The monitor is connected to the computer via a XtremeMac HDMI to DVIHDMI port. The monitor is aViewsonic VX1945wm I used for many years. I don't think that it is a hardware problem, because my Ubuntu install works fine. I am at a loss here, IDK what to do. Help, please!

I solved the problem. I plugged the monitor into the computer via VGA and it works beautifully. So I disconnected the VGA cable and reconnected the cable hdmi to dvi, and it is worked over HDMI since. Even after rebooting. It's a weird solution, but I'm glad it worked.

  • connect a 2nd monitor in order to expand the workspace

All the people who are sitting next to my wife to work hung a 2nd monitor at their consoles portable to give them the extra monitor space to work in. My wife now has a 2nd monitor and a cable which is necessary for the two screens can be connected at the same time - just as they are. They are all connected to the network at work.

But how she has set up in Windows? No work can tell her what to do to implement. Please be as specific as possible non-tech in your answer, that is, do not assume that I don't know!

Sorry if my post has been in the wrong place. It is a portable Windows XP which is a HP Elite. So, what do we do?

XP...  Make sure you have the same image on the computer laptop and external monitor by using the Fn + F toggle key that I mentioned in my previous post. Right-click on an empty area of the desktop.  Left click on properties.  Click the settings tab.  You should see two monitors.  Click on identify.  The external monitor should show that monitor 2.  Click on the representation of the screen on the screen.  You should see below just a checkbox to «Expand my screen...» ' check that, to ensure that the resolution above this area is compatible with the external monitor and OK outside.  You should now see the Office extended to the external monitor.  Windows can be slid toward the new monitor and used as an extension of the screen of the laptop.

Let me know if this can help, or if you have any other questions.

23 "monitor a 3-1/2" black band on the left side of the desktop background. How to expand the context in which to adjust Monitor?

It's the monitor that is provided with the DELL Expirion computer when it was purchased in July 2012.  I paid a "technician" (certified) to transfer the info from my old computer.

If its a LCD monitor, you PC resolution to the native resolution of the screens?

Some monitors have a button self-configured, try pressing that. It can help if there is one.

At the same time, in your 19 "" are you the full desktop or is it lacks a little? If so, try to change the settings for horizontal and vertical screen on the monitor to move the image.

Sorry if this is how to navigate, it's hard to describe.

More info of calibration here - http://windows.microsoft.com/en-AU/windows7/Getting-the-best-display-on-your-monitor

Also, some graphics card drivers were themselves built the calibration setting, which may be worth a visit, but this can vary from machine to machine and cards.

  • No Signal to the monitor, keyboard, or mouse HP 110-023w running 64-bit Windows 8.1 desktop

My computer (Nr H5P41AA) crashed all of a sudden the other day.  I tried to get as much information as I could when it came down, but everything happened so fast that all I could write were "Imminent failure", "file: hiberfil.sys," and "error Code: 0xc0000411.»

I don't remember to make changes to the system in at least a week of his disappearance, but I can tell you that this machine had a reason strange sleep/wake extended since the day that I brought home.  If I used it for about 10 minutes, it will turn off.  After another 10 minutes or more, it would turn itself back on, and this behavior would continue as long that I didn't stop the system.  Because I used to access the computer several times during the day, this is a not particularly bother me, so I never it investigated further.

In addition, there was a strange situation in the region of defragmentation/optimization, where the drives C and D have been indicated with another player that was something like 23% fragmented, but try as I might, there was no way I could do something with this third disc.  Googling the question gave me an opinion agree that the best thing to do was to leave him alone, that's what I did.

I took to solve my problem of measures have included, check the monitor cable, mouse and keyboard all work by trying on my Windows Vista machine, I had to resurrect this report and seek solutions to my dilemma.  I also tried a DVI cable, reinstall the RAM and tried a hard reset, all to nothing does, and my Vista computer monitor does not work when connected to the computer of 8.1.

Without a monitor, mouse and keyboard, I'm at a complete loss trying to figure out what to do next.  How can I determine if the problem is in the motherboard, hard drive, BIOS or something else?  And, since I didn't get this machine for a full year until October 18, how can I check if this is because of something I can do inadvertently or if it is only something covered by my warranty?

Thanking you in advance for your willingness to help, hopefully soon be eternally in your debt via your recommendations for a solution to this madness.

  • conditionally quickly monitor the key based on LabVIEW being the application of the update in Windows

    Hi all

I use LV 2009 in Vista.  I use a VI dynamic, in addition to higher level, to monitor the key pad.  It works great except for the fact that when I have another application open during the execution of the LabVIEW application, it still meets the press of button.  that is so that the use of the calculator and pressing the ESC key to clear the display, LabVIEW reacts as well.

LabVIEW will know if it is the "application of the update" in windows environment?  I know he can tell it is windows that are in front, but what about other applications?  I think to use this to filter keys when LV is not the front application.

    Thank you!

    1. what operating system is installed on the computer?

    2. What is the brand and model of the computer?

    3. does the problem occur when you are working on a particular application?

We will define the third monitor as primary monitor and check the functionality of the mouse.
