• The single Win Explorer Navigation pane click on the name of the folder to expand the subfolders

  In Win XP, you can even click on the folder name to develop the next level of subfolders.

  In Win 7, it takes a double-click and the > is difficult to achieve.

  What a pain.  How can get fixed?

  I understand that you are facing difficulties during the expansion of the subfolders on the Windows Explorer Navigation pane. I understand the inconvenience.

   

  You must expand the tree first and then do the following.

  1. open WindowsExplorer.

  2. expand and click on Tools folder options -->

  3 in the navigation pane, select the check box to display all records and extend automatically to the current foldedr and click ok.

• In Windows Explorer, the Navigation panel jumps with a folder selected to the bottom of the screen, making it difficult for the subfolders of the opening. Why does do this, and can be corrected?

  The difficulty to try to reproduce this now, but when this happens, I have to use the scroll bar to make subfolders in sight.  More disconcerting. XP was not like that.

  After you have installed the free Classic Shell , you can customize Windows Explorer more closely to how you want it, the quote below is just a way to do it. Click here to see some of the options that you can customize, and here is the FAQ page for the classic interface.

  A solution that works for the restoration of some features.

  1) install the free Classic shell.  It's very customizable and works like a mod for Windows Explorer rather than a full blown replacement. You don't need to install the classic Start Menu option, but you can if you wish.
  2) restart the computer.
  3) launch Windows Explorer (Start - computer) and turn on "Always show Menus" (organize - Layout - check menu bar). It's just for the configuration, you can disable it again later if you wish.
  4) right click on the menu bar and turn on the 'Classic Explorer Bar.' This adds a series of icons for cut/copy/paste in Explorer. Basically, it also adds the "Configuration" icon
  5) go in the configuration and from there, you can change things to your heart's content. To kill the horrible record-jumping 7 Windows, place you Vista in 'Style Navigation pane. You can even hit back to XP mode if you want (this adds lines to the tree of folders and adds a classic icon "+" for the expansion of folders). The Windows Vista folder display style looks about the same as the view from Windows 7, but it gets rid of the horrible blow.
  6) adjust other settings you want.

  After that, you can activate the toolbar and menus walk back to explore if you wish. Explorer Windows seems largely the same, but folders is no longer jumping around.  Vote for Microsoft to fix this bug.

  Now if only MS allows to code correctly so that we don't have to mess with third-party applications to get Windows actually works...

• All Gmail messages in subfolders missing

  I am using Mail version 10.0 on my iMac 27 inch 2015 Retina Display.  For some unknown reason, all the messages that I saved in these subfolders created self disappeared! The files are there but the messages are not. I used El Capitan, and have recently updated for Sierra, but the problem persists. The messages on my iPad, iPhone and Gmail.com. Any help would be appreciated.

• Importer not showing subfolders but all media

  Im trying to import some files that are in a subfolder of my documents, in the importing window then I navigate to the folder my documents, but then all of the media that is in this record shows and not the next line of subfolders, so I have several thousands of loading individual files rather than ten subfolders. I don't see anything in my preferences, and I know it wasn't like that before. I've included screenshots of the areas concerned.  Any help?

  PPut the DCIM folder within another folder. Also change the name of the video just to be sure.

  I just upgraded from Lion to El Capitan.  With Lion when I made dragging an email in the Inbox to a folder, the subfolders would pass automatically to the bottom (shown) so I could put the mail in the appropriate subfolder.  With El Capitan, subfolders do not show automatically.  Is there a preference I can change to get this feature?  I know this is a trivial subject, but this is a very convenient feature for me.  Thank you in advance for any advice you may have.

• IMAP account does not show subfolders subscribed

  I created a structure of folders and subfolders on the side my IMAP e-mail account server. I am able to subscribe to these folders in Thunderbird. However, I see only one level of folders in my interface.

  Example:
  Inbox\Games is displayed, with the mails that are there
  Inbox\Games\Steam does not, even if I am subscribed to it.

  All records are already checked for offline use.

  But in the meantime records appeared. I can't understand how and when it was fixed, but it is. Thank you for all your help.

  No, you can't ' just deactivete it "as much as we all have such an option.

  If your old account it I ' card and you no longer can access, install the import/export module and export the files in the file system, and then re-import them into local folders.»

  • Right click on your email account name, and then select 'subscribe '.
  • IMAP folders available on the server will be listed.

• Out of my Inbox about a year ago, I created subfolders and were using them correctly. Two days ago they disappeard. They are always on the ISP server.

  Folders on my server of the ISP always contain what I put in them. I have not received the error messages. It's 3 subfolders. In addition, the quantitity # in my inbox has changed to a much larger number when this happened, and no, the contents of the subfolders missing have not moved into my Inbox.

  I could return to my Pop server and create the folders I wanted to on the top of my tree folder (compared to my Inbox). I was then able to move my messages in their appropriate folders.
