Expected in md32 controllers BBU battery life

Hello

I need to know what is the average time for the BBU MD3220 SAS or 3200i replacement.

Kind regards.

  • Satellie A100-999: what is the battery life expectancy

Just a quick question. I have an A100-999, the cheapest of three laptops I have, but for me the best. I wasjust wondering where I could find out average battery life of long life, I just bought.

    Hello

Generally all battery information must be indicated in the manual of the user which is preinstalled on your laptop.
It of also very important to know, that the battery life depends on the use of the laptop.
Using heavy performance and additional features like ODD will decrease the battery working time.
So in these cases, it s is not easy to say the exactly the time of battery life.
The laptop came with the standard 4000mAh battery. If you want to use the laptop for a long time, you can buy a stronger battery.

  • MBA mid 2013 battery life

    Hello

I use a lot for the lat three years my MBA 13', now the number of cycles is about 560 and battery life is at 85% of the nominal capacity. Fine with that. Battery life, however, is bad enough. I think I can get half of what I used when first got (12 hours with WiFi, 16-18 without connection). Can it be considered normal due to wear of the battery? Maybe I should change? This is a common problem and it is because of the different OS (I'm on El Capitan, always up to date)?

    Thank you.

Batteries do not last forever.  From what you posted, it is within the limits of what could be expected.

According to the specifications of Apple, when the level of maximum load is 80% less than the charge level of the original design, the battery then is "exhausted" and must be replaced.  Not quite there yet.

If your situation requires a long battery operating time, replace, otherwise continue as you are.

    Ciao.

  • DV9000 laptop battery life

I have a HP dv9000 series laptop for about 2 years and my battery is in poor condition.  It is typical of this battery life is only 2 years? Given that I keep my PC plugged in most of the time, he wears on the battery? I just want to know if I should buy a new battery or do I check to see if it is covered by the warranty.

    Thank you

I'll save you the trouble. Even if you get the longer warranty the battery is covered with padt 1 year generally not unless you have obtained the guarantee of store on top of the HP warranty. 2 years isn't a bad battery life. That's all what I expect to get. Battery life is governed by the number of cycles of discharge and duration and charges since. If you take a battery that is new in the box, it will be lower after 2 years when new even if you do not use. If you literally never use the battery you can remove it during the execution of the laptop on the sector. He unloads up to like 30% and store it in a cool, dry and dark place (but not in the refrigerator).

  • Tecra Z40 - A - 16 c - indicator battery life problem

    Hello

    As from 2015, I own a Toshiba Tecra Z40 - A - 16 c.

I noticed a strange behavior regarding the battery life indicator. When the laptop is fully charged, the indicator shows 100% remaining. And when I use the laptop, the percentage drops slowly, as expected.
However, as soon as somewhere around 50%, the indicator is suddenly decreases and says he has only 5 or 4% left and I should switch it on immediately.

Any ideas on how to solve this problem?

    Kind regards
    Oliver

The battery may need calibration. Load and unload completely several times.

If it happens again, the battery needs replacing. You can check the level of wear using HWMonitor from cpuid.com.

  • NB305 - what settings should I use to get 11 hours of battery life?

    Hello

looking for help with my new NB305-10F. I just bought the netbook and drained the battery before recharging. I disabled the netbook for recharging. This morning when I turned on the computer it says 8 hours - it was me running with option power saver - with the brightness of the screen to a minimum.

So, my question is, what should I do for gt 11 hours of battery life as told when I bought the netbook? I hope that someone will be able to answer my question!

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi willbar,.

I think you should charege/charging the battery up to 5 - 10 times to get the maximum battery life and only 1 or 2 times it charges s not enough.

Also the battery life expectancy is depending on the applications that you are running. 11 hours, you won't get that if you don't do anything on the netbook, until it turn off by itself, but if you navigate in Internet, write emails and watch videos, 8 hours is really good and you can be satisfied with this :)

  • Battery life has decreased

I have a Macbook Pro Retina Display, which has been bought only mid-2014. The life of the battery to 100% used, i.e. about 10 hours if not more in the last two days, it dropped up to 7 hours or less.

Before that, I would take my computer to school with 100% and return at least 50% to go and now I can barely make it through the school day! Only, I use Word, Safari, and most of the time Powerpoint and make sure that all my other apps are off to save battery and yet he still eats battery like crazy. It will say there are still 6 remaining hours and 40 minutes, it will go up to 4.5 hours! I have no games or large application running so I don't see why my battery life has decreased in this measure. The fault might be my charger? I always use my laptop came with that but there cuts everywhere and a few pieces of the wire is exposed.

Please let me know what I can do to restore my batter life.

You need to replace your charger, but it probably has nothing to do with your battery life - the 'intelligence' isn't in the battery charger. There are two basic reasons for the battery life decrease: 1) using more electricity or 2) your battery cannot hold as much power as it did when it was new.

Discover #1 open the activity monitor and click the CPU tab. In the columns, he scored a % CPU which shows the percentage of cycles CPU used by a process. Click on the label and the list of processes are sorted to use above the lowest. Over the next few days keep an eye on her to monitor all the processes that seem to have and maintain a high percentage. My computer will be a process of spike up to 50-60% but down then down quickly. The only time where I see a sustained high CPU usage is when I do something like a large file for archiving or extraction of a CD.

To check the #2, click the Apple menu and select about this Mac. Then click on the button tray . In the left pane, look for power. You will find information on your battery, including the number of cycles and the health of the battery. Under normal conditions of use of 18 to 24 months old computer should get close enough to use even on a charge like new - I expect maybe a loss of 30 to 40 minutes. But if you have a large number of cycles on the computer - say an average of 5 cycles per week for as long as you have owned the computer, the battery may be almost on time when it needs to be replaced. Battery life depends on several factors which can vary greatly from one person to the next.

  • The battery life of L20 - 155

yesterday, I bought this laptop. I loaded the battery during the first night. Now I can use it to a maximum of 50-60 min (even when WiFi is off). The manual says 1.5 hours.
I have something wrong the first time that I have loaded?

    Hello

Well, that's one about of specification of the duration of battery life.
The life expectancy of the batteries depends on the use of the laptop.
For example: to how often and how long you use the HDD, optical drive and floppy disk, how you use optical devices such as a Pc card, where you store your programs and data.
Besides closing the screen when you are not using the keyboard saves energy. Also activate standby mode saves battery power if you frequently turn the computer market.

Please also see the manual of the user which is preinstalled on your laptop. You will find lots of useful information on the use of the battery.

    Good bye

  • Equium L20-264: Question on the actual battery life

Hi Forum: I know that I need PA3420U-1BRS battery as a replacement for my laptop. Can someone tell me what the real battery life is that I can't find any information on this.

    Thank you.

    Hello

It is not easy to say, and that it is not generally answer on this question.
The life expectancy of the batteries depends on the use of portable computers. The use of programs and applications heavy and high performance decreases battery life.

However, you can charge the battery about 500 times. After this period, the battery performance decreases.

  • Satellite M105-SP381: short battery life - 01:50 mins

    Hi guys,.

I have a Satellite M105 and I think that Im not getting good battery life out of it. I have had the machine for 1 month and I can barely 01:50 mins on drums, with a minimum brightness and wifi, just surf the web and listen to mp3s. What is the performance expected for this type of machine?

It has a 1.8 Core Duo, 1 GB RAM, 80 gb HD, ATI x 1300 14 "of clues? I use the watch system to "long term" Toshiba application. My battery was unaffected by the action of voluntary exchange of Toshiba.

    Thank you

    HI Juan,

Different parts of the book will use you the power at higher or lower rates. Any component with a mechanical action (your hard drive, optical drive, floppy drive, etc.) use generally a little more power than the CPU, RAM etc.

The effect is to drain the battery faster if the hard drive or optical drive is used. So, generally, is expected to get more autonomy if you use an application such as Word or Excel where there is minimum hard disk activity unless you're constantly saving or loading documents.

In your case, playback of MP3 files will constantly have to load data from the drive hard (although cached to reduce the number of access) while you browsing the internet is constantly written pages in your Temporary Internet folder (as well as access to your anti-virus database). All this activity hard drive means that the hard drive is never allowed to turn down and therefore do not have to use the power of the battery.

As long as you follow the usual recommendations to optimize your battery (let it fully discharge from time to time) I think that the time you get really is reasonable for the type of activity that you do.

    Kind regards

  • Want to m6-w105dx: m6-w105dx battery life

    Hello

I have a laptop Envy m6-w105dx and it is mostly used at home. For this reason, it is still connected to the power. As I am not able to remove the battery, I was wondering if being connected to the power supply of all time could damage the battery or decrease its average life expectancy.

If I damage the battery, what would it be the solution for this problem?

It is a common question. Connected to power all the time is not damage to the battery, but it may result in a little less than life. The battery has a microchip inside that account of the cycles and if you turn it off let it sit for a few days and then turn on the computer back will have to charge the battery upward, less than 95% and it will read as an undergraduate and the battery has stop working after a certain number of cycles to prevent it from being a danger to the power. Older lithium-ion batteries can become a danger if they have too many cycles of charge/discharge on them so batteries are actually pre-programmed to stop working until they're really chemically dead.

The battery may not overload, however, for plugging it on food all the time isn't a bad thing regarding who's going. The cycles can occur only if you have the power and turn off and let off and have the power adapter to the coast for a few days or more. Even if you remove and store the battery it will lose the ability only to sitting in storage, so there is really no perfect answer to the laptop battery life.

So basically, for most people, the battery is something 'use it and forget it ". Don't let him lead your life, just leave it in place and use the laptop as you want. The only thing that you should avoid is discharging the battery below 15-20%. They do not like a lot. There is no memory effect most so you can use it on battery, run it to say 70% then it load up. No problem with that.

You have to assume that you will have a new battery at some point if you keep the laptop more than about 2 years.

    Post back with more questions.

  • Portege R500-126 battery life

I bought the Portege R500-126 @2 nine weeks ago and with SDS and no DVD/CD, I was expecting, as announced, to * 8 hours * autonomy

To test, I fully charged the battery that was supplied with the machine, selected power plan 'Power Saver', out the charger cable and curled only 3 hours later, with no use of computer laptop whatoever, the battery is almost discharged

On the Toshiba sales site, I noticed they sell one * Li - Ion 6 CELLS 5800 MAH * battery for £95 + VAT, is the same battery that comes with R500-126 and is anyone else having this problem?

    Hello

I found this website product Toshiba Portégé R500-126:
    http://UK.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com/cgi-bin/ToshibaCSG/JSP/productPage.do?PRODUCT_ID=145824

But unfortunately, there is nothing on the duration of battery life.
    There is only this;
Maximum life: currently no Windows Vista battery reference available official result

Still is it that Vista needs more energy as another Vista OS (i.e. XP) eats the laptop and my knowledge resources, he needs two times more energy than XP.
In addition the run time depends on hardware configuration. Stronger systems of waste more energy as devices with a lower yield.

    However, to you in question;
AFAIK the R500 was equipped with the PA3612U-1BAS/BRS 6cell battery pack.

  • iPhone 6 battery life too short

About two weeks ago the battery on my iPhone life 6 suddenly cut in half. I mean it seemed to be from one day to the other. I used to be able to jump about 2 days without running at low power. Now, I can go only about 6 hours. I checked the battery and do not see anything unusual. Now to get through the day without having to plug I continuously use it in "Low Power" Mode, but still run by the end of my day. I don't use anything else and I've upgraded to the latest iOS.

    Any ideas or suggestions?

  • New owner of smartwatch 3, only about 12 hours of battery life!

Hi, seems that I'm not the problem of battery life only experience on smartwatch 3. Just received the watch last week to use with my Xperia XZ, overall satisfied with the watch but the life of the battery.

Expected to last two days, but have misery through one day, software up-to-date, tried resetting and turning still wide screen, still not sustainable as it should.

Use it mostly for review, some applications and sometimes music.

My Apple Watch series 2 rated power up to 18 hours on the other hand lasts about two days, was expected at least on the SW3.

What is the problem, and have the battery gets worse with subsequent updates? Someone here suggested it could be lifelog app the cause, but have no experience with it before the last update.

    Any help is appreciated, thanks.

A fix was just released yesterday evening, and the battery life is back to normal with lifelog!

Thanks for the info. Just updated earlier today and Lifelog reinstalled/activated on the phone, SW3 far, no battery drain and seams very stable batterylife, 12 hours and up to 66% with about 22 hours battery left . A happy field here.

Anyone else having this problem, updates to Lifelog and go to carry Android app and apps to sync again, to ensure that the update is synchronized to your SW3.
