  I want to clarify if this happens when you start Windows after logging in or before opening a session on windows.

  Method 1: Disconnect all external devices (printers, scanner, USB (universal serial bus) readers, etc...) Except the mouse and keyboard > restart the computer and check

  If this solves the problem, then add back devices at a time until you discover the piece of hardware causing the issue.  Then get any drivers\software update for the device.

  I'm unable to launch InDesign CC2015 and I get the above message. A little history: my daughter (college House) had already installed CC2015 on our computer at home for little work. It has access through his school. I decided to sign for my subscription to the CC and were able to open Photoshop, Illustrator and other apps that I downloaded, simply not InDesign.   Thanks for posting your concern. We are here to help. Most of the time, the Explorer crashes due to a bad or corrupt context Menu. To help you with the problem, you may need to follow these steps.

  1. click on Start, type command prompt or cmd in the box Search .
  2. right click on command promptand then click run as administrator.
  3. at the command prompt, type sfc/scannow, and then press enter. The sfc/scannow command will scan all protected system files and replace the corrupted files by a cached copy which is located in a compressed folder to % WinDir%\System32\dllcache.

  Note: Do not close the command prompt window until the audit is 100%.

  Let us know how it goes.

  In ShellxView, in the toolbar, select Options and click on the type of the extension element filter.
