Explorer Windows stopped working at the opening of the files
Everytime I open my videos folder my theme is immediately changed to Windows Vista Basic and about 3 to 5 seconds later Windows Explorer crashes. I heard that it is caused by corrupted mp4 files and I deleted some mp4 files, but the problem persists. The remaining file that I have in the folder is not in the trash and the mp4s are corrupt who have been moved to the Recycle Bin now cause my theme change when I go to the Recycle Bin and Windows Explorer crashes when I go as well. In 3-5 seconds that I before Windows Explorer crashes while I am in the trash, I say empty and keep the loading bar right on the course and go, as when I try to delete the file remains in the video folder. I asked friends who are skilled in computers and they have no idea what to do. Help please, no matter what is appreciated. Thank you.
Rather than open the Recycle Bin, right-click on it and then click on the empty basket. This could work given that when opened it does not work and in this way you are not open it.
To remove the remaining MP4 file, try Unlocker: http://www.softpedia.com/get/System/System-Miscellaneous/Unlocker.shtml that sometimes will delete the files when the standard Vista delete process does not work. Hope that the same problem occurs here what happens with Windows Explorer.

I get this error "Windows Explorer has stopped working" for the past few months, every time I try to open a particular folder that contains 10-15 .avi files. This folder is located on an external hard drive and when I plugged the hard drive of a computer running XP it's the same thing. It throws this error and gives me 2 options,

2. restart the program.

Explorer Windows stopped working, and it wont let me run cmd as administrator.
A few months ago, I got the error message "Windows Explorer has stopped working". He asks if I want such online for a solution, or close the program. I looked online and everyone says to run cmd as administrator, and then type Sfc/scannow, but when I right click on cmd after a search on the start menu, it says that it has stopped working again. I also tried to run cmd as an admin using Crlt-shirt-entry, but he always says that it has stopped working. I use Windows Vista Home Basic 32-bit.

When I open the Control Panel, it says "Windows Explorer has stopped working" and then it restarts Windows Explorer. When I right click on any folder it says "recording of the UI language is not valid" 5 times and for a split second, it says "Corrupted registry" then it works. So, it seems that this issue would be related to incorrect or damaged registry entries.If the registry is damaged, your operating system will not work as it should and can feel such or similar problems.
I m using the CCLeaner to clean the registry and other system files.
It s a free tool and you should try it.If this does not work and if you notice the same question so I would recommend reinstalling the OS using the Toshiba recovery disc.
