  I'm fairly new work in After Effects, so I might have too have it explained in detail.

  I am currently working on several animations for the customer, where I did the visuals and got audio lying elsewhere...

  There have had no problems with the audio before the lengthening...

  When I play the audio (wav file) new in Quicktime format, there is no problem at all - it's the same for when I play the audio in AE, no problem either...

  BUT when I export the files through Adobe Media Encoder queue (h:264 - mp4) audio is corrupted and when played in Quicktime,.

  the last seconds is played at least twice, just to repeat... I tried with 2 of 5 files, and both were corrupted, with the same error in the end...

  I can't know if the files are corrupt (the guy who fixed them) in a way that he doesn't ' watch that "when files are exported through AMECQ...

  Or if I just do it wrong... I worked at AE for about 5 months, so I don't know yet of all the parameters, etc...

  Hope you can help because it is an urgent task and there is no one else in the office that I work, knows nothing about AE... Haaalp!

  This problem is fixed in update fixes after effects CC 2015.3 (13.8.1). This update, available now, can be installed by using the creative Office Cloud app, or by choosing Help > updates within any Adobe application.

  You must make the markers of track in regions for the Export of work function. Make sure that you have placed a marker at the end of the file, as well as at the beginning of each track. Then select all the markers in the marker list by left clicking the first then shift left click on the last. You can then merge markers in the channels using the comb as icon (3rd from left) at the top of the list of markers. You will then be able to export the lines marked as separate files.

  1 are you referring to the sound recorder program in Windows?

  2. you have all the music you want to convert to WAV?

  3 are you referring to the "Sound Converter" when you say 'tape recorder '?

  If so, you can use third party software to convert WMA to WAV audio format.

  Note: The use of third-party software, including hardware drivers can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the use of third-party software can be solved. Software using third party is at your own risk

  Unfortunately, files .wav is not supported by the phone. You can convert the audio file to a different format by using an audio converter application so that it can be played on the mobile device.

• failure to export a wav (damaged codec?)

  I use energyXT 2.5 (on win7), which is a software of recording for a good while now without any problem, I use it to record old cassettes and records CD and finalize audio wav file. Everything is fine until around November 24, 2014, this is happening, check and back up fine, but when export to wav finishes the resulting file is also great it should be at 4.3 GB, but don't play that 4 min 01 sec (should be around 48 min) tried another record (11 altogether different recording sessions) same thing (produced a file correctly size but only about first min 11 parts), tried all methods of saving ACE, destinations files, update driver, dianosis system, hp (without help) support, energyXT support (no response), energyXT uninstalled/reinstalled and no solution, I found similar problems people have described and sounds like a corrupted audio codec can be blamed which would explain why the uninstall/reinstall didn't work. If so, what could do this? do not have change all parameters (or re - open the program) between the last successful export (nov 21) and first failure (24 November), the only reason I can think is an automatic update of a certain type screwed up something pretty bad, but I don't know (my last solution is to install on and implementing a dedicated) (, computer disconnected, restored to a version of win I KNOW works). How can I fix this before it comes to that?

  recovery system was my first idea, but recovery registry filled and emptied, and I can go back too far. I had hopes for audacity, it came with energy xt on a disc with a few other audio stuff freeware but older version would not manage the sampling frequency my audio interface to not use but improved version appears comparable if not better than energyxt, and even still it fails AND the exact same way (produces a playable track of 4 min 01 sec to 4.3 GB after the recording of the disc even at the same rate of 192 kHz and exporting) lossless WAV). something is wrong with the way windows renders 32 bit wav files float. (oh that 16-bit works but I have wasted enough of my time) so I'm going or backup I need to do anyway and restore factory image from manufacturer, which may be a bit drastic, but will for sure work or idea mentioned before where I just use a different tour according to the question if I can acquire one and how long my patience.   The audio in the mp4 file, I try to use gets cut. He plays 95% of it, but for some reason any interrupts audio towards the end. I checked the file on a PC and Mac as well as on both the audio shows very well, but when I open it on my computer (Mac), it is cut. I tried a clean install of AE CC 14 and that did not help.

  Export the audio track in a separate audio file, not COMPRESSED like wav or aiff and use it in AE.  Media encode from Adobe should do.

  While you're there, you might just transcode mp4 as well; a movie quicktime in codecs Photo JPEG or PNG would be better for the use of AE... and you can keep your audio with the video file, too.

  I searched the archives to try to find relevant articles about it, but all I could find were articles published in 2012 in the aftermath of the FCP - X was introduced.  I know at the time, Apple was pretty well rooted out FCP all export capabilities that were in FCP 7 for the purpose of export the titles so they can be translated in a third-party audio editor (such as Pro Tools or Adobe Audition) to water down the audio.

  Now, I suspect that this feature is in FCP - X in the form of export > XML option in the file menu.

  But I wonder if anyone is familiar with this operation could me step through it.  I'm eager to bring discrete tracks (i.e., "storylines attached") within the PCF - X in a third-party audio editor.  I usually use Pro Tools to a job like this.  But I also plead for a friend, and he uses Adobe Audition.  Neither one of us is a fan of Logic Pro.  (I have it, but my eyes glaze every time that I try to give a sense).

  Anyone here knows how this is done when you go to Pro Tools or Adobe Audition?

  You must look in X2Pro, which is a conversion utility that will bring the CML FCP to ProTools.

  We are a group of students from DTU and we work with software defined radio in a 3 week course where we will be designing a radio station FM/receiver.
  We encountered a problem regarding resetting the position marker file in the sound file Read.vi. Our attempt must be a reset button which, once clicked resets the wave at 0 file marker so that the next reading occurs from the beginning of the audio file. We tried to use the absolute/relative position associated with a variety of ways to use the position of input and output offset offset, but with a bit of luck. The shift seems to be growing quickly or refuse to read the data when reset causing an underflow in our component of Tx.

  Any who would be able to provide a simple example to reset the sound file Read.vi, or is it necessary to launch a whole new instance/component?

• Extract the audio channels to mono files - does not

  When I right click a file .wav stereo in the files Viewer, why are the "extract audio channels to mono files -" option grayed out?

  It worked for me a few weeks before a hearing CC 8.1.0.162 update.  I resorted to using version CS6 where it always works.

  Well, even if I don't use it there, I agree with you - it does not work and is grayed out, and there is no reason that I can see. It still works fine in the Edit menu on the same file, and also you can assign a keyboard shortcut, so you have not really lost all features, even if I would say it was a bug...

  I'll connect it with a reference to this thread.
