• Is it possible to export the address book and map then only custom export fields are exported?

  In Outlook, I can export my contacts but before export ends I can map the fields you wish to export. For example I can export my contacts but only to export the name last name and email address.

  Is it possible to do this with Thunderbird? I can't only to export the complete address book, it contains fields I have not filled and do not want to export.

  Currently, there is no function to select specific address book fields when you export a mailing list or address book to a .csv file.

  However, after you open the .csv file in Excel or OpenOffice.org Calc, it's simple to highlight more columns, right-click and select delete, and then save the file. Just tried it myself and completed the changing/deleting columns etc. in less than 10 seconds. Thus, it is not difficult and extremely fast.

  I know this isn't what you prefer, but it works very easily, is easy to learn.

• Audio skips out of sync in several places when the export of the first pro

  I have a short, 15 minute, turned to 23.976 FPS.  When I export to load in yet somehow audio jumps not synchronized to several different places.  The weird part is that in all cases there are 2 people in the scene and that a single audio out of sync breaks people.

  I went through all the audio files in the sequence in Premiere Pro (CC) and the audio fits perfectly even though I play in first.

  I checked and double checked settings FPS in first and still, as well as other parameters such as the video and audio format audio sample rate, etc., and everything is consistent.

  I'm exported from Premiere pro using the "Multimédia" option and choose MPEG2-DVD, NTSC, 720 x 480, progressive quality of 23.976 FPS, 100, CBR, target 9.00Mbps, with audio PCM, 48 Khz, stereo, 16-bit output.

  Source sequence is 1920 x 1080 (1.0), 23.976 FPS, progressive, 48000 Hz, stereo.

  I also used Media Encoder on the same sequence to create an MP4 file and that seems to come out perfectly synchronized throughout.   So, I'll try using media encoder to create a .iso file, if possible.

  I'm new to this, all the words of wisdom or of things to check would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks, Bobw

  Voice out of sync with the lips.  I look for "bilabials" (P, B and M) in the speech, then make sure that the sound correctly synchronizes with the lips.

  I guess we can do exactly the same with notes on an instrument if it was of expert musicians.

  In any case, I turn on the "show time audio units" and then carefully align the appropriate sound with the position of the pack language appropriate lip. Often it's 'zoom' on the frame and audio tracks and the cleaning back and forth several times.

  OK, but let's go back to my problem.  That, it turns off does not exist.  I treat so badly that I had to remove the camera and audio sound recorder and sometimes contract between the two during a audio jack.

  AND, I actually had audio out of sync by about 3 images in three different places in my sequence, in one place.   And Yes, I looked at dozens of times and convinced myself that it couldn't be my work because I had "checked" so many times.

  This was caused by a drawing of lots of last minute "tweaking" and "assume" that the settings I made did not affect the video tracks & audio following.  (HINT: it is almost always if you don't take extreme care and seems sometimes even when you do.)

  AND I also had a "nested" sequence I had absolute fits for audio, synchronize perfectly on.

  BECAUSE...   I had 'nested' video but I have NO audio with her nest.

  .... The "Lesson Learned" here is: "If your export ends with audio out of sync quit"guess"that it is impossible because of your Premiere Pro sequence is wacked"

• CC of InDesign, export ePub book, does not text paragraphs source anchor

  In InDesign CC, I created a 25 chapter book and a table of contents in a separate chapter in the beginning. The table of contents are created as desired. Now I want to export this book to ePub and create a table of contents navigation in it. First of all, the drop-down list does not show my OCD saved-style, only the default. It only shows this TOC style when I export only the document "Table of contents".

  I check the box "Make anchors text in paragraphs in the source", but export ends with error messages "missing anchor text" and the TOC navigation shows the filenames instead of my chapter names.

  These beautiful export and create text anchors and TOC navigation functions only work when the whole book is in one document?

  I would appreciate an indication as to how I can get this to work.

  If you don't see your Style of table of contents in the drop down menu then the most likely reason is that you haven't synced all of your styles through the book.

  In particular, the document in the book referred to as the 'Source of the Style' is where we wait for the table of contents and metadata Style.

  In the Style of table of contents, you must check the option "Include book Documents -" then the anchors will be created through the book.

• export the image with an alpha channel in cs3

  on the video layer 1 I have a background image and video 2 I have a psd numbered video of maya (is the text animation) with an alpha channel (black is the alpha).

  If I export the end frame (even with 1 off video (background)... I don't get a bmp or tiff with alpha channel image.  I get the black background.

  is it possible to export end frame and keep the alpha channel?

• Cannot use the USB in the Portege M500

  I use the model of laptop Portege M500. When I connect my Transcend 4 GB pen drive it detects and dispays an alrert lower-right with "new hardware found". At the same time another box dialog box opens asking for the installation, I tried to give next & finish but it does not.

  1A tried to install the drivers of the utility in the toshiba site.
  2. check the USB - it works very well in the other system.
  3. I use Windows XP. I checked the registry key to activate the pen drive.

  Ended in vain.

  It would be nice that you can share your ideas to connect the USB into the laptop.

  I had the same question that I couldn t use my pen USB drive more. After a search here a bit I started to remove the USB ports in Device Manager. Then I restarted my laptop and the USB ports are being installed again. Now, I have my USB again! :)

• Resolution STOP: C000021a {fatal system error}

  Even after several attempts to restore and system recovery (from disk HARD and CD HP), I keep getting the following error:
  STOP: C00021a {fatal system error}... put end, in vain, status... 0 x 00000000 (0XL0000001, 0X0010034c) system shutdown.  The error message is very consistent.  I am running Vista.  Any help would be appreciated.

  Reduce the size of the RAM to 1 GB, disconnect the secondary hard drive, select the settings in the BIOS and try to start the computer by using the Windows Vista DVD.

• DBMS_DATAPUMP.metadata_remap - a matter of REMAP_TABLE.

  I want to export SCOTT. DEPT table and imports than HR. DEPT_HR with constraint. I'm using DBMS_METADATA. METADATA_REMAP with REMAP_SCHEMA (to change the schema anme) and REMAP_TABLE (to change the name of the table). I don't know where I am getting the error. It seems that REMAP_SCHEMA is changing all the names of schema successfully, but REMAP_TABLE does not change the name of the table on the constraint. So constraint is not be created. Is there another workaround solution? Here is a small proof of concept:

  If you look at the failing sql code, it is clear that the name of the table in the constraint definition has not changed, but the DEPT_HR table is created in the HR schema without constraint. What's not here?

  I created a rather elaborate DVD menu, with several menus and interactions, until yesterday everything was fine, I had already built my menu to do tests on touchscreen, and it worked.
  Today I make changes, I therefore generates a new DVD folder, and when I open it with VLC pour buttons to test, nothing works. It starts the moment of good walking and find it me impossible to click my buttons. I struggle to understand where the problem yesterday car everything worked. I have checked that there was no Hauptstr, my renderings were done well, I even tested a new project with just one or two trees, but same worries, the menu start time of good walking and work out the buttons don't.
  In fact I feel it makes me a simple export end-to-end of my tree, and that's all...

• Yellow and red color bars through images of the iPhone

  Whenever I'm editing of images from my iPhone, playback and export ends up being a nightmare! Whenever I stop while the bars translucent edition, yellow and Red appear on the video and after the final export, the flashing notice (but only on some clips).

  I can't understand this at all. If I have pre-made effects in the timeline panel, the bars appear on some images in playback mode.

• Animation freezes, continuous sound in swf

  I'm on CS3 - Flash9.0 / Macbook Pro / OS x 10.5.6 and become crazy here, so help appreciated.
  
  I have a movie with about 20 scenes. The time where I got about 16 scenes, was not difficult at all, but now, when I do a 'test' movie or export to quicktime I find the right gel animation about 9: 30 minutes in. The sound keeps going, but no more animation. I tried to save different versions of the file with omitted scenes and it seems no matter what I do, he died still at 9 min 30 sec. So I can't locate the problem.
  
  Each scene has an audio track in one or two layers. All the sound ELEMENTS has the value STREAM. I have double/triple checked that!
  There is NO action script. No stop() action, nothing.
  
  I also noticed that when I export to quicktime it freezes if I got him to stop on the last image. But if I specify a time like 00:10:28, exporting ends, but with the same problem mentioned above.
  
  I could find a few mentions of this problem via google, but no resolution.
  
  Ideas anyone?

  Instead of stop(); in the last frame inside the movieclips, try:

  _parent.nextFrame ();

  In AS3, it would be...

  MovieClip (this.parent) .nextFrame ();

  And in the main storyline, you need a stop() for frame of each movieclip (use a separate layer 'actions' for the code) so that it stops for each new clip that gets visited.

• Export markers does not include end time

  I use hearing CC and I created about 3 dozen range markers. I need to export all of my range markers to a CSV file. When I do this, the file does not include the end time. It's just how this function applies, or is it possible to enter the time of the end?

  Below is an example of marker_1 exported to .csv:

  Unfortunately, this seems just the way that hearing export markers. If you want more information, you can use the third-party CueList tool that allows to control many more markers such as editing and renaming to start.

• Audio glitch at the end of exports of EI

  I've just updated Media Encoder at 10.3.0.185 and Adobe After Effects to 13.8.0.144 (running on Windows 10). Since then, I've been meeting a glitch in the audio of any After Effects projects that I exported out of Media Encoder. Everything is going well for most of the video, but as I reach the end of the exported video, the audio starts to double or to cut and move to another part of the track.

  It does not exist in the AE project or the original audio track, nor does it occur on any video I export directly into After Effects. I tried to export with h.264 and Quicktime, with a variety of presets for both, for consistent results. If I export a video directly from AE, then re - encode the video in Media Encoder, so the problem does not occur.

  I use this workflow without problem for a while now, so I can't imagine anything else that I do other than the software update. Someone else has experienced this problem / have tips on how to solve this problem?
