Export MXF OP1a with XDCAM HD 422 codec 1080i50

Hello

I use CC first and I want to export a movie as a wrapper MXF OP1a with 1080i50 XDCAM HD 422 Codec. I choose the XDCAM codec when I want to export is to one. MOV, but when I select the format MXF OP1a is does not appear in the list of codecs. Is there a way to do this in the first or Adobe Media Encoder, or what I have to come up with a workaround?

Stuff/XDCAM MXF is somewhat alien to me, but I think that's maybe what you are looking for (?):

Format: MXF OP1a

Video Codec: XDCAM HD 50 NTSC (4:2:2)

Command field: First superior

It is an XDCAM HD 4:2:2 codec which automatically exports in 1920 x 1080 and with the order of the fields in superior first, it should be interlaced.

Oh and I assumed that NTSC, but you would have wanted the PAL version of the video Codec.

  • Why keep MXF OP1a export fails?

Hey geniuses! Got a puzzle for you brain game. I'm trying to export our first episode of graveyard Carz by using the network card: MXF OP1a XAVC I Class300 QFHD 50 p.

This is the error I get inside media encoder:

    Movie compilation error.

    Import error

    Importer returned wrong result.

Writing with the exporter: MXF OP1a

Writing to the file: X:\S06_GRAVEYARD_CARZ\06_DELIVERY\FINAL UHD RENDERS\EPISODE_01\GYC_S06_E01_160709.mxf

    Around the time code: 00:00:21:20 - 00:00:21:24

    Reading with the importer: CFHD_MOV_Importer

    Reading file: X:\S06_GRAVEYARD_CARZ\02_ASSETS\1. PROGRAM GRAPHICS\LOWERTHIRDS\MARK WORMAN.mov

    Reading file type: MooV

    Rendering at offset: 21,400 seconds

    Component: CFHD_MOV_Importer of importing type

    Selector: 47

    Error code: 2

According to the approximate time code that it fails, we have a lowerthird pre-rendered placed on top of the timeline. It is made with Cineform 4444 for alpha.

    My system:

    HP Z820 with 2 x E5-2670, 64 GB RAM, GeForce GTX 960, Windows Professional 10.

All content source existing on the network fed by the little tree drive and is related to my system with a 10 Gbit Ethernet Adapter.

And for the sake of clarity, this issue took place in the market. For example, two days ago, we were able to make the episode without any problem. This morning, fails every time in the same place.

This happens if I mercury software read-only or if I use the GPU support.

It also happens if I return on first or if I do inside Media Encoder.

Finally, don't know if it's related, yesterday, first stopped to read some of my Quicktime rendered using PNG. He said that they did not have the audio or video stream. Quicktime reinstalling does not fix the problem. And cleaning of data bases and the cache has not solved the problem either. Strangely, Adobe After Effect could read and I re-renderings using Cineform and they charge very well.

Hope you guys have answers. Thank you very much for your time.

Seems that the problem has been resolved.

It turns out that earlier I have had emptied my cache of media, first had not yet finished create new cache files and therefore could not make files that had no cache files created, causing Media Encoder crashing.

Now that the media has be cached, it seems to be very well made.

It is a real disappointment that I had to wait two hours for the cache of media fill.

  • XDCAM HD 422 1080i60

Can someone give me a tour d'horizon with PP CC 2015 (Version 9.0.1) on iOS how to export to this broadcast specification?  Any guidance would be appreciated.  I'm looking in the MXF OP1a and there is no codec that stands like the one listed.  I'm also confused on how the codec indicates i60 (assuming that 60 fps interlaced), yet the frequency of images below says 29.97?  Any guidance or assistance would be greatly appreciated.  The network is The Sportsman Channel and format is directly from their 2015 Production guidelines.

Required format offered to me by the network:

    XDCAM HD 422 1080i60

    Container: MXF

    Video coding: MPEG-2 422@HL

    Color depth: 8

    Color sampling: 4:2:2

    Image size: 1920 x 1080

    Frame rate: 29.97i

    Video bitrate: 50 Mb/s (CBR)

    Audio coding: PCM 2 ch/16 bits / 48 kHz

    Audio: stereo Ch 1 & 2

Thank you all for your time and your help.

I would go for this: ignore the source.

  • Export. MOV using XDCAM Codec

    Hi all.

I need to export a. MOV file with a codec in Premiere pro CC 2015 XDCAM. Apparently, I need to create a custom export to do this, but when I select the QuickTime Format, I don't see the option to export using XDCAM codecs. I know it's possible because one of my friends who has on his copy of the first, so I think I'm missing a codec pack?

Any help / advice will be greatly appreciated.

    Dennis.

You will need to install the codecs via 3rd party, such as Apple Pro video Formats (which requires Final Cut).

FYI, first natively export to MXF Op1a XDCAM.

MXF OP1a not no projection in the "Format" drop-down menu.  There is a category of MXF OP1a in presets browser, but it is not active.  I downloaded the XDCam MXF presets, but cannot import them because the encoder cannot be identified.  How can I get MXF or XDCam MXF Op1a appears in the Format drop-down menu so that I can import the presets and export code MXF files?  Thank you...

    Hi beating Bits,

The only thing I want to do is to incorporate a CSC file into an XDCam

within an MXF.  If you could help figure me out how to do it

codec to export available in TEA (or Prime Minister), I would be grateful.

This is not supported natively in SOUL CS6. I'm sorry. Updated SOUL CC for this feature.

    Thank you

  • Red frames and Freezed with XDCam and C300 files on export a montage

    Hello

IM random red images on export and editing with adobe pro cc the current (7.2.1) version first. my real schedule is around 50 min. documantary most c300, .mxf some xdcam .mxf files a gopro substance.

IM on a windows machine 7 with sufficient power to handle this long maturities. seems to me that first has some problem en/decoding xdcam op1a to fom. A lot of mistakes like this: MXF read errors "\\?\V:\xxxxx-1080p-XDCAMHD50PAL.mxf" 383 images.

Sometimes I have to export more than 5 times to get a file without red images which is annoying. My current solution exports dnxhd and re-encode to xdcam op1a but sound very time-consuming.

I have to export xdcam 50i for delivery to tv stations some of them don't acept other formats.

tried some of the other tips on other threads like this (delete the database, create a new project, clear the cache of media) to other suggestions

    Please its urgent

I have to deliver a new episode in 2 days...

    Kevin

Just checking to note that I have not encountered this problem since the update. Very nice work!

  • Coating. CSC in MXF OP1a file

    Hello world

Is it possible to truly integrate a subtitling. CSC file in a file MXF OP1a of good quality on Premiere Pro CC 2015? I inserted my. CSC on my calendar and selected file "Embed in output file" tab in legend of the export dialog box. But when I play the file in VLC, there is not a closed captioning, which tells me that the captions were not inserted.

This program that I produce is a weekly TV broadcast. My current workflow is to export my complete quality of the timeline. MOV ProRes 422, can keep this file Apple Compressor to marry my. CSC files and generate a MPEG-2 file. However, after talking with the channel of programming my show, they told me that if I could give them a MXF OP1a file this would save encoding on their end because that's what they broadcast.

When I open the MPEG-2 files that I generated in my current workflow, I can easily see captioning in VLC. Yet, when I try the MXF OP1a file, captions are not present. Can someone help me please? Thank you!

    -Cody

The captions are present in the. The MXF file when re-imported in Premiere Pro.

  • MXF op1a match source Media encode

I am trying to use the source of the mxf op1a (wrap) match predefined in Media Encoder. I have a variety of raw materials of Gopros, XF305s and a few others. The preset fails systematically with images of Gorpro, and I had problems with some other sources also. I get the "video stream of the source file is not compatible with this preset. Please choose a different preset. "error.

My question is: because I try only to use format mxf defined by default as a container, keeping the original material, it is - why am I compatibility errors? If I understand correctly, mxf can be used as a container for a variety of types of video, I fell on something that indicates it does not work for Gopro files or all the others, so what's the problem?

    Thank you

    Bransby

It will not work for GoPro footage because our MXF exporter does not support the GoPro CineForm. Unfortunately, the preset should do a bit more than simply copy the stream to a new packaging. We must have a possibility to write this stream natively to the MXF format and currently, we cannot do this. If you have a feature request, you can ask that we support GoPro CineForm in an MXF. Once there is your workflow will work. Feature requests can be made here:https://www.adobe.com/cfusion/mmform/index.cfm?name=wishform

  • Scaling, Pro Res 422 codec bug

So I came across a rather unique bug, which arose a few months back, when our company decided to first Pro CC for first Pro CC 2014. I think it has something to do with the new "set to frame size" feature, when you right-click on a clip in the timeline panel.

When the scaling of images in the effects of the label, if the scale is not defined on above 50.0, the clip will be display zooms in the program monitor during playback and also in the video file made after export. However, paused, the clip will be watch upward nationwide. Please see the pictures below.

    Video playback:

    Clip at the break:

This seems to happen only with files back and forth between our color grading program. Relevant information on the files are lower.

    •Apple pro Res 422 Codec

Hi Marc, thanks for the input. With the last update CC, the problem seems to have disappeared. Thank you!

  • How can I set up stereo audio tracks as default in first using the ProRes 422 codec?

Forgive me if this has been asked several times before. I searched but can't find anything that explained in a language that does not require a degree in computer engineering.

I'm a new convert to our beloved FCP 7. I'm learning to love dear first - but the audio part of this is driving me crazy.

I exported from FCP files as ProRes 422 movies with stereo audio tracks. I want to put first in the same way. But when I do it all crashed in a single audio file.

It plays havoc with the Pan - especially in mixtures which have a mix of stereo music. Apart from this it just confuses me.

Also. When I create a new project from scratch in the first and I select the custom ProRes 422, this setting doesn't allow to ProRes 422 audio mono. I don't see a codec for something else (ie. stereo).

    Am I missing something?

I looked in all areas of preferences and can not find anywhere to change this. I just want to import audio data from simple, basic two-lane (and let appear the same) that I would be in FCP, ProTools and the myriad of other editing programs that I use.

I also want to be able to set up a base of two-way stereo timeline/sequence without having to reinvent the wheel.

Thanks a lot for all the help and patience. I'm slowly pulling my hair and spend long periods sitting in the corner, hugging my knees and crying.

My characteristics. Preferred codec installation: ProRes 422 codec

    First pro version CS6 (6.05)

    Thanks again.

In the project Panel, select all the clips and rightclick/change/audio channels.

Set it to 2 tack and mono.

When you drop the clip on the timeline the stereo turns on two tracks.

You can also set by default in the preferences under Audio (before you import the clips) (stereo to mono).

  • Parameters of XDcam HD 422 - cuda in yellow

    Hello

I'm under 5.5 PP on a macpro (2x4x 2.6 GHZ, 32 GB of Ram), on board graphics nvidia quadro 4000 card and a blackmagic capture Studio-card.

Projectsettings: Mercury engine is on / material

My sequence is set to sony´s xdcam hd 422, I drag a clip to the timeline - and cuda wants to make playback (yellow).

Test: When I opened a different sequence which maintains the Blackmagic-settings for xdcam hd 422, there is no line yellow or green or red, i.e.: none made it necessary for playback.

What is the way it works with cuda? I hope that no, it s should speed things up, I thought... Or: Is there something I need to change in the settings?

Y at - it a codec that works better in PP, as Apple prores works so well in FCP?

    Best regards

    Philipp

    leave material EMT/CUDA work with third-party monitoring:https://www.adobe.com/cfusion/mmform/index.cfm?name=wishform

I still think his way time at Adobe to implement surveillance without third party equipment or codecs.  It is the most important demand.

  • export to FLV with alpha

    Hi all

I'm in the workplace and the customer has exported to .flv with alpha channels videos into a video popup Web site that has the sign language translation of the accompanying text, similar to what is on this Web page:

    http://www.CHS.ca/index.php?option=com_content & view = article & ID = 736 & Itemid = 56 & lang = in

    Screen Shot 2013-10-23 at 1.58.26 PM.png

the web developer could not figure out how to get the alpha to become transparent, which is not the issue here.

I'm having is with the quality of exports .flv.

video from the site mentioned above looks like this:

    Screen Shot 2013-10-23 at 2.01.33 PM.png

    It has good resolution photos.

However, when I try to export mine since a 4.2.2 1080 p.  video source for the codec On2 VP6 flash resized to 320, it comes out looking pixelated all like that:

    Screen Shot 2013-10-23 at 2.03.43 PM.png

I have maxed out the bitrate to 10,000, set it to 2 passes, constant bit rate, quality at best, he's looking for the same thing.

is it possible to get the video to keep its image resolution and all in maintaining the alpha channel?

-ps: I forgot to mention, I contacted the company on the site (I used to work at the time) both web developer and video technician do more, the Manager has no idea on the details of the Web site, he's recently been subcontracted to an outside company, which will revamp the entire site.

I don't remember if FLV has the same problems as the other codecs, but try to keep both divisible by 16.

    So, try 512 X 288

You will also notice that 288 is also divisible by 9.

The settings that you use are not in reality of 16:9. They are close, but close counts in horseshoes and other such efforts. Not in the mathmatical concepts used for video encoding. They are not even divisible by 8, or 16.

  • Time lapse help working with xdcam ex workflow

    Hi all

I have a sony ex3 and working with xdcam ex codec - I have a time-lapse sequence of JPEG images that are long 22 seconds

When I'm trying to make it in 1920 x 1080 @ 25 fps using several methods and formats I keep ending up with 3 GB file sizes and more

/ 3 gb is crazy for a clip of 22sec

Those someone has suggestions on the correct setting to use when rendering the above sequence

    I'm using cs5

    Thank you and best regards

    P.

    Ireland

/ 3GB is not crazy at all for 22 seconds of uncompressed HD video.

Depending on what you want to do with the film long term, you can return on an intermediate rendering without loss (something like a Quicktime movie using the PNG compression) and then compress this film using Adobe Media Encoder (or a similar compression tool) in a format of delivery more suited to your file size concerns (i.e. 2-pass VBR h.264 encoding with flow). If you do not have the storage, then you can always ditch the not compressed / lossless compressed after that you have your final product. The reason for which you would like the middle stage is then you can get the best possible compression. XDCAM (whatever flavor you're using) is a highly compressed codec and limiting the acquisition. You don't want to go to him, most likely.

So, the question is, what will you do with your final product? Web site?

  • How to export in Quicktime with a transparent background?

I export my Keynote animation as a Quicktime movie, I want to import into photoshop and then export and animated GIF that I will put on a web page. The challenge that I have exported my speech with a transparent background. I set the background of a color with zero transparency but then the bottom just goes black and rest throughout the process. I look at older versions of Keynote had the possibility of transparency when exporting to Quicktime, so I hope, there is always a way!

    Thank you!

To create a video with an alpha channel:

On the model of slides: View > slide Maser Edit > Inspector > Format > master layout > in the background, select: no fill

Export Quicktime: file > export Quicktime > in the drop-down menu select Format; custom > and select Apple Pro Res 444

That you view in QuickTime Player or something else? Try to view the video in VLC or even importation in first. If the color seems normal in VLC or first while you see the age-old bug "QuickTime gamma shift", which is not really a change in gamma (or at least that is my understanding), but it's what most people call it.

Check out this thread if this is what actually happens: H.264 gamma shift/faded colors on export
