Export of JPG Compression
I use pictures of OS X to store all of my photos for a while now. Most of the time I edit my photos in snapseed for IOS and let synchronization iCloud that or I'll shoot with editing in application features. Sometimes, I need to export and unmodified original pictures OS X Pixelmator or Photoshop. After that I made my changes I export it back as a JPG (the same format as my original CD is in). When pixelmator or photoshop prompts me to give the JPG one option to export quality from 0 to 100 I still want 100, so I do not lose quality. Initially I thought it was the right thing to do until I noticed that my photoshop retouching were exported about twice or more the size of the original even if it was just a flattened JPG exported. My question is how can I keep the image edited to the same original JPG quality that I import without losing quality or export great.
Thanks for the help,
Max
If you don't want to lose any quality at all when exporting to JPEG, use "10". Which will increase the size of the file however, but not as much as export in TIFF format, which would be the best option.
If you are willing to accept minor losses in quality, use the quality 'high or 8' instead of 'Maximum, or 10. This should give a file of about the same size as the original file.

Probably a newbie question, but I am confused.
I created a RGB AI file which consists of an image with text superimposed on this topic. The text is pale yellow (254,254,179). Everything works fine until I have the export in JPG format. When I do, the yellow text becomes white. Photo, style text, which all remain exactly as planned in GOT it, but the text always becomes white. I ran experiments, and this does not occur if the color is, say, a red or a blue.
What is going on? How can I fix it?
Thanks for any help.

I tried a text with your color and used save for web jpeg (low) then tried exporting to jpg and worked well.
Open your .jpg in photoshop trying to move your pipette set to 1 pixel on the image. Mine is back with 253 250 180 on the low quality of jpg. The color moves when recording to .jpg for compression and changes of poor quality the most. Your profile monitor calibration settings and color can be part of the problem. Try changing your Illustrator > edit > colorsettings to:

Hello world
I'm resizing about 500 images to the web for the best display on screens HiRes I'm looking for shortcuts.
My current workflow in CC 2015 is to open the PSD original HiRes.
- File > Quick export to JPG format to the original format of the record of the images of my local test server.
- Close the PSD.
- JPG resulting open
- Image > size of the Image (resize to the width specified)
- RECORD.
- Close file.
PROBLEM: When I create an action using file > Quick export to jpg, it does not work when a folder is specified. If I disable invited to folder, PS created another folder next to the original PSD file assets. The last thing I need are 500 other subfolders, each containing a single JPG.
< nodding > engineers of for the PS who thought it was a good workflow, I have news for you. It's not. < / head >
There is no good workaround solution? And please do not suggest the legacy save for Web. I don't use it.
Nancy O.
Image processor.
File > Script > image processor...
Choose the folder containing the JPG files as a source
Save in the same place (will create new folder) or select a new location (will create a folder)
Set the Type to file in JPG format. Enter the maximum size that you want in pixels.
Run
technically you could run directly from PSDs if they are in the same folder, but can slow down the process depends on your machine.

Link multiple images and export to jpg
Hi, this is my first post, been searching nearly 2 hours for my solution, not find with all the answers
I have a model with a size of 500 x 500, there is the logo of my company at the bottom right and there is a logo mark on the top left, I have created a layer to put the products in the environment models.
So now that I have nearly 400 products to reissue and export to jpg, someone can help me with this? I discovered that I have to use javascript for this and I have no idea how to do that.
I would like to have 2 files, first is my product the second folder would be the export of photos to the() with the same title would be possible?).
so that the script should be able to automatically read the first file and republish the product automatically in the layer and export to jpg and Save in the second folder. (all product images are the same size so no worries about that.)
Million thanks!
I would do that with photoshop.
create an image of 500 x 500 (same as your product images)
Place the logo etc where you want. and save this file.
Then create an action to place this file on top of your images.
Run this as a batch through pictures of products.
I would look for a tutorial for batch adding of watermark to photos for a detailed step by step.

Export files jpg without changes?
I have several sets of images of the medium in which I selected an exhibition and make the changes.
Now I would separately export manufactured from crude oil without color change but always cropped jpg resized files. (recently)
Export using the original will export the raw not the jpg image I want.
What I suspect I will have to do as a work one around is to export the originals, then create a new temp catlog and reimport them and export as JPGs reized I want and recrop the few who need it.
Information for the next time that I may have to do. Thank you
If someone can provide a response without a why I'd appreciate it.
Create a collection of virtual copies, reset the settings of one of the pictures and synchronize to all others (excluding crops). Export, then delete these VCs.

Export to jpg, transparent turn white
Heyo,
I have a file of work 3 times A3 size plan I want to record on at 300ppi so I can print it at A1 without losing much quality.
I do this every two months, it will be the 4th time or more.
Every time I run into this same problem and just little fudge my way, but I'm not having as much luck this time and cannot move on to printing.
each sheet is a series of 20 coupons, or then as seen above (sorry for censorship, my company is extremely paranoid, afraid that they catch me learning)
but when I export in jpg format, some of the coupons come out like this:
the layers of white (there are two) both go transparent and the image of bottom paper is leaking through.
as you can see in the afterthought, top right, little white is preserved (in a file link, but the white shadow less 408 is a form of illustrator)
I tried to change things and white 1% or 1% 1% 1 1 %k %y m c k...
usually juggle it like that randomly serveral gets to work afterwards...
Anyone know what the really good cause?
Thanks and best wishes
Malkere,
What happens if you change the white overprint in the attributes palette?

Picture 2D controls Export in JPG format
Hi guys,.
I created a piece of radar using a 2D image control. However on the attempts to export by using "Get the Image" I find myself with a full white/black (depends on the background color) square box. So in short, the plot of radar created from 2 variables is not visible.
Suggestions for the export of a .jpg of a parcel of a 2D image Control created radar file?
Thanks a bunch!
Have you tried the picture to Pixmap followed a JPEG Image function write?
EDIT: The code snippet is a modification of the example of the expedition. Everything I had chosen for the snipper were the three screws and wires between them. Nothing else has been selected. The displayed snippet, that's what I got. (Don't have the tool to Capture of Code installed on the virtual machine.)

Override HorizontalScale limits (776.19) when you export a JPG
I'm trying to export JPEGs of multiple files eps (with a lot of different sizes of work plan) with a specific size - 5000px long edges. But when the work plan is too small horizontalScale exceed its range and script fails. Is there anyway that I can fix this?
Here is my script:
var doc = app.activeDocument; var abActive = doc.artboards[doc.artboards.getActiveArtboardIndex()]; var artWidth = abActive.artboardRect[2] - abActive.artboardRect[0]; var artHeight = abActive.artboardRect[1] - abActive.artboardRect[3]; if (artWidth>=artHeight) { var fileName = doc.fullName.toString(); var exportOptions = new ExportOptionsJPEG(); var fileSpec = new File(fileName); exportOptions.antiAliasing = true; exportOptions.artBoardClipping = true; exportOptions.qualitySetting = 100; exportOptions.horizontalScale = (5000/artWidth)*100; exportOptions.verticalScale = (5000/artWidth)*100; doc.exportFile( fileSpec, ExportType.JPEG, exportOptions ); } else { var fileName = doc.fullName.toString(); var exportOptions = new ExportOptionsJPEG(); var fileSpec = new File(fileName); exportOptions.antiAliasing = true; exportOptions.artBoardClipping = true; exportOptions.qualitySetting = 100; exportOptions.verticalScale = (5000/artHeight)*100; exportOptions.horizontalScale = (5000/artHeight)*100; doc.exportFile( fileSpec, ExportType.JPEG, exportOptions ); }
P.S. I thought size Board chart cheking prior to export, and if she too small - scale size needed, but it would be really slow export process.
var doc = app.activeDocument; var abActive = doc.artboards[doc.artboards.getActiveArtboardIndex()]; var artWidth = abActive.artboardRect[2] - abActive.artboardRect[0]; var artHeight = abActive.artboardRect[1] - abActive.artboardRect[3]; if (artWidth>=artHeight) { var fileName = doc.fullName.toString(); var exportOptions = new ExportOptionsPNG24(); var fileSpec = new File(fileName); exportOptions.antiAliasing = true; exportOptions.artBoardClipping = true; exportOptions.transparency = false; exportOptions.qualitySetting = 100; exportOptions.horizontalScale = (5000/artWidth)*100; exportOptions.verticalScale = (5000/artWidth)*100; doc.exportFile( fileSpec, ExportType.PNG24, exportOptions ); } else { var fileName = doc.fullName.toString(); var exportOptions = new ExportOptionsPNG24(); var fileSpec = new File(fileName); exportOptions.antiAliasing = true; exportOptions.artBoardClipping = true; exportOptions.transparency = false; exportOptions.qualitySetting = 100; exportOptions.verticalScale = (5000/artHeight)*100; exportOptions.horizontalScale = (5000/artHeight)*100; doc.exportFile( fileSpec, ExportType.PNG24, exportOptions ); } doc.close(SaveOptions.DONOTSAVECHANGES);
I also add savings witout file close command. When creating of action with this script and the batch processing of multiple files, it allows to reduce the working time of script.
To convert PNG to JPG I use XnConvert it's free and they all need the functionality of batch convert files.

All images of a time video export to jpg
First Pro CC
I have a video of time who recorded once per second. How to export all images in JPG or TIFF with one command?
Thank you
With the clip that you want to export selected, go to the file menu > export > Media...
and when the export side opens-
Set JPEG or TIFF format, the output name will also set the destination for the images and be sure to have the export as sequence checked so that it generates all the photos in the form of consecutively numbered files.

Export to JPG format several times with different resolution
Hello world
I want to export my document of jpg files in different resolutions - an overview and a thumbnail image. I use this code, I found here in the forum for export:
function exportPages (_dpi, _destFilename) {}
try {}
app.jpegExportPreferences.exportResolution = _dpi;
app.jpegExportPreferences.jpegQuality = JPEGOptionsQuality.LOW;
app.jpegExportPreferences.jpegExportRange = ExportRangeOrAllPages.EXPORT_ALL;
app.scriptPreferences.version = "7.0".
app.jpegExportPreferences.jpegColorSpace = JpegColorSpaceEnum.RGB;
app.scriptPreferences.version = "6.0".
app.activeDocument.sections.everyItem () .includeSectionPrefix = false;
var f = file (_destFilename);
app.activeDocument.exportFile (ExportFormat.jpg, f);
} catch (err) {}
Alert (err.message);
}
}
and I call you
exportPages (96, "~ / jdExport.jpg");
exportPages (30, "~ / jdExportThumbnail.jpg");
This should create images with 96 DPI and dpi 30. But after the first call the app.jpegExportPreferences.exportResolution is not defined. I can swap function calls - first works, second fails.
No idea why I can't export twice?
Thank you
Klaus
He finds myself - there the
app.scriptPreferences.version = "6.0".
I shouldn't use copy & paste the code from the forum without understanding

Mobile Lightroom exports vacuum jpg
After the latest version of Mobile from LR. When I go to export an image, it creates a blank jpg file, 0px 0px and 0kb (see the video here https://goo.gl/photos/DDJJX655zd2Pvx5x8). Does anyone have an idea to solve this problem. I have deleted the data, deleted data synchronization of desktop LR so it would be re-sync, uninstall the application and then re - install the app, but nothing works. Thanks
The fixed. The directory where LRM was trying to save did not exist so I created the new directory and everything is great now. Don't know why LRM not re-create the directory

Hello everyone,
I have an IndesignCS6 file with 4 pages.
Each page has a different size.
Each page cointains same resized chart.
I need to export each page in jpg format, I need each page has a name custom as
01_PrintXX_InKredible_4x5_Ratio
02_PrintXX_InKredible_3x4_Ratio
03_PrintXX_InKredible_2x3_Ratio
04_PrintXX_InKredible_PaperSize
would be awesome iif PrintXX could be the indesign file name (but this is optional)
Is this possible?
Thank you very much to all those who can help me. Would be a lifeline, I have more than 150 files to export in 4 different formats and rename
Laura
Hello
Try this:
var exportPartNames = [ "InKredible_4x5_Ratio", "InKredible_3x4_Ratio", "InKredible_2x3_Ratio", "InKredible_PaperSize" ], mDoc = app.activeDocument, destFolder = "~/Desktop/PDFs/", mPages = mDoc.pages.everyItem().getElements(), cPage, cPageName, mDocName = mDoc.name.replace(/\.indd$/,""), destFile; if (!File(destFolder).exists) Folder(destFolder).create(); if (mPages.length != exportPartNames.length) { alert("Count of names doesn't match count of pages"); exit(); } with (app.jpegExportPreferences) { jpegColorSpace = JpegColorSpaceEnum.RGB; jpegQuality = JPEGOptionsQuality.HIGH; jpegExportRange = ExportRangeOrAllPages.EXPORT_RANGE; exportResolution = 72; } while ( cPage = mPages.shift() ) { cPageName = ("00" + (cPage.documentOffset + 1)).slice(-2); destFile = new File(destFolder + "/" + cPageName + "_" + mDocName + "_" + exportPartNames.shift() + ".jpg"); app.jpegExportPreferences.pageString = cPage.name; mDoc.exportFile(ExportFormat.JPG, destFile, false); }
Change destFolder, exportPartNames , and jpegPref if necessary

Why is 5, 7 LR is no longer exporting ALL files jpg (from RAW)?
No error message, just the usual "finished work" - but without actually writing a jpg file. No way around changing some options for export as the name of file, image size...
Hi antjeh37833361,
Could you please export a Jpeg image and see if it exports.
Also try to export the RAW image in Jpeg format on the desktop and then see if it exports.
Please upgrade to the latest version 5.7.1 if Lightroom you are currently on 5.7
Kind regards

Lightroom exported CC JPG file format not valid
I had two clients today say that files I sent them (exported from Lightroom) wouldn't upload to their Web site due to an invalid file type being, it was the mistake, they got when you try to download. Initially, I thought it was just something on their end because the two were not very computer savvy. However, after thinking about this I realized these my first two projects since the upgrade to Lightroom CC. I double checked all my settings export everything seems the same to me and I use the same workflow I always do. I can't test it myself as I don't have access to the sites they were using. I'm curious to know if anyone has had problems with JPG exported, or there may be a setting I missed somewhere?
I opened the peak of the sample into 12 Mac and Windows programs and uploaded to Flickr and Zenfolio, and none complained (see list below). I looked at the file with Exiftool and added some examples of metadata - Exiftool usually issues a warning if the file format is not strictly conform to the standards.
So this peut be a case where the file produced by LR strictly conform to the industry standards but has a domestic provision which is not usually used, tripping a software that does not properly implement the standards. It already happened at least once in the previous versions of LR, and Adobe changed LR to avoid the problem. I see hints of this possibility in the dump Exiftool - JPEGs produced by LR CC have 102 unused after the TIFF header bytes, while typical JPEGs do not have these unused bytes.
You can test this hypothesis very quickly: open the sample peak in the CC of Photoshop (or another editor if you don't have Photoshop) and save it on with Save as the same level of quality. (Other programs don't usually write these bytes unused header.) Ask your customers to try to download this version.
In addition, ask your customers for the exact error message (letter for letter) and the software that powers their Web sites. That could give better clues.
Mac: Preview, Photoshop, 2014 CC utility ColorSync, Firefox, Chrome, Lattice, brush, Safari, Word
Windows 8.1: Files overview of the Explorer solutions, Irfanview, paint, Windows Photo Viewer
Online services: Flickr, Zenfolio
