Export the schema to DXF

Is it possible to export a DXF file Multisim schematics? Our standard procedure is to export the drawings to DXF so various borders of the company and the signature boxes can be added. We use OrCAD before today to make patterns and with that, we are able to export DXF.

If this is are not possible with the current version of Multisim there plans to add this feature in the future?

Thank you

Robert

rmoss78,

There is no native ability, but you can do this by using a few pieces of software that are relatively cheap.

1. you will need a PDF print driver.   Some newer PCs today come with this standard.   If not, I recommended it in the past (www.pdf995.com).

2. you will need a PDF to DXF conversion tool.   I recommend this one (www.aidecad.com) and have heard customers have a success with her.

Note - There are probably other free or cheap - conversion tools if you have a good luck with others, please post it here...

Now, all you have to do is print the diagram as PDF (nice to have it in PDF format anyway) and then use the PDF to DXF conversion tool to get it into a drawing in Autocad or similar Assembly tool for writing mechanics.

The downside is now that the DXF resulting will be lines and not any organized 'blocks' that you can reuse in Autocad...

Kind regards

  • How can I export the schema with all objects and a few tables without data

    Hi all

    Verion 10g EA.
I export the schema with all objects but I need ignored some of the data in the table.

There is a table 4 people gave huge, we need not to export data from tables but structure must export.

    Thank you
    Nr

You can do this with a single command.  Run your export as usual and add the query parameters for 4 tables you want all the lines:

    expdp... query = schema1.table1: "where rownum = 0" query = schema2.table2: 'where rownum = 0'...

It is best to place the query parameters in a parameter file if you don't have to worry about escaping special characters of the OS.

    Simple question (I think)

When I run the exp command exports the entire + data schema or only the schema without data?

    Thank you

Yes it has exported any schema that is all objects. For export no given, you must mention the lines = N

  • export the schema, but for two tables, export only 20 rows

    11.2.0.2/RHEL 5.4

Using expdp, I want to export an entire schema. But for the 2 large tables (say the EMP and DEPT tables) in this diagram, I want to export only 20 records (at random) for them. Is it possible for expdp and impdp?

If this is not possible then, is there any option to have no any line for these 2 tables?

    Christian Christmas Pal Singh says:
possible, but you must create two files dmp means export of run 2 times.
    1. for complete schema to exclude these 2 tables by the exclusion clause.
    2. use the query clause to filter the data in the second export for these 2 tables.

Really? is not something that similar work? instead of rownum, if you want truly random, then use example of clause, but it should be based on the amount of sample would make 20 lines for you, then a bit of work there.

    schemas=my_schema
    QUERY=my_schema.table1:"where rownum < 21"
    QUERY=my_schema.table3:"where rownum < 21"

  • Export the schema of the process Editor

    Hi all
I use OWB version 10 gr 2 and I am trying to export a diagram in the process Editor menu.
    There are two questions.
    (1) when I save it in JPG format, I can't open it with a photo editor.
    (2) when I save as SVG, I can't open it with Microsoft Visio.

Do you know what Viewer works? This function of OWB some sort of bug?
    Thanks in advance.

You must close the process flow, so only you can see.

  • Modeler cannot export the DDL for databases Oracle (only work for DB2 databases).

    Hello

First of all, I'm sorry for my English, I'm French.

I'm new with Oracle tools. I have my database with the DataModeler deisgned.

Before that I've got my schema versioning I could export the schema to DDL Server Oracle 12.

But since I have version control with Subversion I can only export to DB2 databases (screenshot follows):

    Exporting to Oracle databases?

    Thank you.

Well, unzip to the new directory doesn't mean a new facility because it is the same version and DM will use existing preferences - you must remove the directory with the preferences. For DM 4.0.2.840 this directory on my Win7 is:

    C:\Users\\AppData\Roaming\Oracle SQL Developer data Modeler\system4.0.2.840

After starting DM you must check "System Data Type Directory" "preferences > Data Modeler" - it should be empty or point to the directory with valid files - defaultRDBMSSites.xml and types.xml.

Posted the picture shows that these files are correct or not existing in the directory defined in your preferences

  • Export the application

I exported the app and now it imported to a different workspace, but all tables that is the app uses not were not exported, so how to export sql objects (tables) in one workspace to another.

    Senks.

Developer SQL has an available database (schema level) export feature ( Menu - > tools-> database export ). You can use it to export the script to create object with insert statement for the data.

Apex generator also has a function to export schema ( -> SQL Workshop-> Utilities generate DDL ) with which you cane export the schema definition.

These two files can be run in the destination schema to recreate the objects.

  • GR 11, 2 dump schema in the schema 10g

Is it possible to export the schema to oracle 11g / backup in oracle 10g schema?

    Sanjay

Sign in using 10 g exp (assuming that the client and the database are accessible via network) diagram 11 g and export the same.

Otherwise, you can install client 10g in a separate House on 11 g server, export, and transfer the dump on server 10g file and import.

ETG can be used. But, there are some restrictions for it. (LONG tables cannot be used for the DEC). You must use another way to import the data.

You are in 10g and you can use Datapump (expdp) export and import (impdp), which is also faster.

    Export the schema of Production.
Import using import (impdp) using TABLE_EXISTS_ACTION datapump (APPEND or TRUNCATE or REPLACE)

  • Import export of the schema is unknown

    Hello

I have a file dump exported molasses formed up again that some tables. The schema for the export of the discharge is unknown and we have only provided the dump file.

I have a scheme named EXTRCT which has been granted the DBA role in my target database. I want to import the tables in the schema EXTRCT.

The following command retrieves the tables in schema EXTRCT or it will create the schema in my target database that was used during the export. If it is the latter, how can I force the tables to be imported into the schema EXTRCT. I guess that I can't use REMAP_SCHEMA because I don't have the name of the schema where tables were exported?

    Impdp EXTRCT/extrct dumpfile = logfile directory = dp_dir imp.log = exp.dmp

The databases are 11 GR 2.

    Thank you

    Mathieu

    run the import with

    sqlFile = my_test_file. SQL

This will insert all ddl statements in the file instead of their execution.  Nothing will be created.  You can then change the my_test_file.sql to see what the patterns are.  You can also see if there are tablespaces that will need to be remapped as well.

  • The schemas are required to export an APEX application and the EE DDL to itself and XE

    Source DB - Oracle 11 g 2 EA

Target DB - Oracle 11 GR 2, 11 2 Oracle XE GR SE

    O/S - RHEL 6.5

    Application - APEX 4.2.2

Must give up an APEX application and the underlying DDL associated with a database Oracle EE an Oracle SE and XE database.

Patterns are required to export to accomplish this approach?

Is there one method other than export patterns which would be preferably?  (for example export tablespaces).

You should not deal with apex tablespace or schema APEX_040X00.

    Just follow these steps:

    (1) ensure that the APEX version is the same or higher in the target schema, upgrade if need be

    (2) discover patterns of the application (NOT APEX_XX) pump and export data those and import them into the target schema.

    (3) in the target database, create a different workspace and the link with the schemas imported analysis

    (4) export enforcement APEX of source database in the target database.

If you expand the app, better to talk to the one who did it. Make sure that the Images, CSS, JavaScript files are added as objects of support and those that are then exported (to step 4).

Basically don't worry about APEX_O40X00 scheme, as long as your Apex versions match, it will be the same and will be automatically filled with metadata in the application import and export performance.

  • We were able to make remote export of the schema to the local computer that has only Oracle Client can

    Hello

I tried to export a schema from a database of remote 10 gr 2 RHEL on my local desktop which has Oracle 11 g Client (Windows), but it ended with following errors

    EXP-00008: ORACLE 942 error encountered

ORA-00942: table or view does not exist

EXP-00024: Export Export not installed views, please notify your DBA

    EXP-00000: export completed unsuccessfully

    The query I used is: owner username/pwd@remotedb exp = someuser leader = D:\someuser.dmp log = schema.log

I need to transfer the dump file on another server in RHEL test.

Can I export using the Oracle customer or I need a database to start remote export?

PS: I asked me not to use Datapump for some reason any.

    Kind regards

It can be done, but you need to export using 10 g client.
