  When exporting in format PDF of CS5 ID I saw do move and disappear.

  Did tests since my post on linked tread and discover, with PDF / X_1a:2001 (PDF version 1.3), it works fine. But when I use PDF version 1.4 and above fonts randomly disappears. See first photo below.

  OK, for me it's just going to print, but with 1.3 we lose the link hyperlink and bookmarks if used in other media.

  Have seen policies to move when exporting to PDF, (second photo), and in this case, there is no way of doing things with the options mentioned above. Only way is he right was to outline the police... and PS - Distiller has worked as well.

  I've found my workaround, but I would really trust the export as a PDF in the future is the way Adobe advice we used.

  OK, I have reproduced the two issues and connected bug reports for them to be the subject of an investigation. I don't think that they are associated with other issues that have been discussed on the previous thread. They are two specific fonts, change the text to use another font makes problems disappear. So there is a chance that the fonts have some problems that make them sensitive to the problems. Debugging the development team should tell us more. Thanks for your help with this.

• Crunches and appears when exporting project cs5.5 to mp4

  I've finished a big project in cs5.5 and it sounds good in the timeline panel. When I export to mp4 I have crackling and pop throughout the 16 minute video. I work on a mac pro with os x el capitan. Seems to be a new issue. I never noticed this with previous projects.

  After working with that some more I found that it comes and goes. I noticed that I can find a crack in the mp4 and then return to the top of my head to play at this same point, press play and the Crackle is gone. I think it's a matter of computer processor? Although it surprises me because I have a mac pro robust enough. It also seems that it helps to use media encoder rather than export them to the media since the project window.

  I'll clean the cache and delete the preview like Sean suggested. It's probably a good practice regardless. (Thanks Sean)

• Exported only keeping images not adjustments (?)

  I crossed several hundred files .jpg of a recent event and did some basic for images settings. For example, most all of the images from the cropping. But now when I exported the jpgs 'original' and discovers files exported, all cropping, that I did in the development module is not preserved - they are all under cover.

  What Miss me?

  You cannot export as original and wait for all your adjustments, including cropping, to be included in the copy. They will be exported under the original images without adjustments.

• Retrieve an unexpected loss to develop LR4 adjustments?

  Hello. I was about to export some photos and realized that I lost all the adjustments to develop over a month, I did. If I go back to a catalog file of ealier at the beginning of October, I see all the settings, but it seems that the pictures have moved (I get an empty thumbnail with the question mark). Couple questions:

  1. Does anyone know why develop adjustments are absent on the photos of all my recent catalogs? I always move my photos in LR.
  2. Is there anyway to 'export' adjustments to develop older catalog and associate them with the correct photos in the new catalogue?

  Just a guess but it kinda looks like you opened a version of your catalog somewhere along the way backup and all the parameters of development finished it?

  In regard to number 2, here is a test, you can try: with only a SINGLE PHOTO selected in the catalog with the parameters develop intact, Hit CTRL (CMD) S to save the metadata to the file. Then in the catalog where lack development settings, select only the SAME PHOTO and read the metadata in the file metadata > read metadata from file. Development settings appear?

• Compatibility of the presets to export between CS5.5 and CS6?

  I have a ton of custom presets that I have developed over several years. I tried to import in CS6 copying presets custom from here:

  \Users\ <user_name> \AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Common\AME\5.0

  here:

  \Users\ <user_name> \AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Common\AME\6.0

  I can see the presets custom in the SOUL, but only SOME of the presets in the format/preset export settings of Premiere Pro CS6 boxes. for example AVI appear but not the presets for H264 or Windows Media formats etc. (they do not appear).

  The presets are incompatible between CS5.5 and CS6 for some formats (maybe there are new parameters that were not in the old version)?

  Hi Paul,.

  Some of your CS5 presets are compatible, some are not. There was enough significant changes to several of the encoders in CS6, data contained in the old presets are more correctly. I can't remember full on top of my head, but Windows Media permanently changed. You will need to rebuild these presets from scratch.

  A confusing area is in CS6 SOUL, we have a new encoder H.264 and H.264 Blu - ray, as long as the older encoders that are now marked (legacy) H.264 and H.264 Blu - ray (Legacy). (For the record, MPEG4 has also falls in this category.) If you import old settings preset for these formats, they will be added to encoders of legacy, but not the new encoders;

  Rather than copy and paste files predefined in the folder, I suggest that you use the import function (under the new Preset menu or the button in the new browser built-in) to add the files to SOUL CS6. You should get a warning appropriate via this method if the screening is not compatible with all encoders, rather than silent failure occurs when you place them in the folder.

  The file will be used on iphone and ipad; However, first can only produce the file into two tracks (audio and video separately).

  In my opinion, M4V means "MPEG-4, video only.  I know that this is the accepted industry convention.  It is not impossible to audio in a container of M4V, but this is not the desired result.

  If you produce video + audio files for Apple devices, Yes, video H.264 + AAC audio in MP4 or MOV container is exactly what you want.

  I am trying to import my workspace to work in a new mac mini (lion) at home. I have a backup time machine (mac Leopard pro) work computer and I went searched the XML in your Applications / Adobe Indesign Cs5 / Presets / Indesign workspaces U.S. /en_. He was not there, I did a search and it did not. I created a new workspace with a unique name on the new mini and I could not locate where the file has been saved.

  Any idea on how to export a workspace?

  I ran into a problem where when I export to epub, while working with a book file, a respective paragraph styles class name is changed.

  so for this instance, I have a paragraph style called 'target the class' which then gets exported to 'target-class' normally. This is how the export works when you export an individual indd file. However, when you export the book, each successive indd file will rename the style. So the first one will be 'target-class', but the second testament gave ' cible-classe-1"troisieme 'target-class-2" and so on and so forth. " It happened not in cs4 or cs5 and its darn annoying. There are also many other settings to export which have created many problems for me. as how indesign like integrate a lot of information in the HTML when I know exactly what I want and do it in css. There should be a way to turn some of that judgment.

  In any CASE, someone has a solution for this problem, or just I have to slug through and redefine the name in the export options dialogue of the paragraph style.

  Bit hard to say without seeing the files, but when this sort of thing has happened to me, it is because in a single document in a book some of the styles is not export tags together. I thought they did, but after seeing the names of style being renamed in the HTML, I realized that I had missed some. You can double check that.

  True, you have to "Change all the tags to export" in a single document, but you can then synchronize on the book. NB to be sure of that make sure that my source in the book document contains all the styles for the book, even though some of then are not used in this document. In this way, I know that I have to change one of the styles in one place (and then synchronize).

  Agreed - jobs that we begin in CS5.5 will have this kind of thing configuration from the start. He is transplant CS5.5 export tags in documents done CS4 or CS5 which causes problems.

  I think that it is a limitation of FB. Only display fields title and copyright law.

  You could create virtual copies and then copy and paste the metadata of legend in the security deposited, then use the VC in the publishing service, at the same time protect your original metadata.

• Export indesign cs5.5 to JPEG with/without background

  I have a document with a tree (I did it myself on indesign) and a text on the side, and I would like to record both in the form of jpeg file.   Well, it's not really important if the jpeg background is white unless you print white ink or you pring the background color to the bag at the same time, you print your images. Under normal conditions, the white areas are simply places where no ink is projected on paper. If you want a white ink, jpeg is not the right format because it supports either spot spot color channels, and would need a plate of special color for white spot.

  But back to printing on a black bag... This lady has it all other black bags with things printed on them? It is the printer, or is she just order bags from a dealer?

• Export Flash CS5 to Quicktime - why it does not work?

  I have a 2.93 Core 2 with 8 GB of RAM.

  I have a Flash video with text, graphics and animations. It's long 2 minutes. The SWF works fine. ActionScript 3.0. resolution 900 x 500.

  When I first attempted to export to quicktime, it gave a very close message that:

  «WARNING: Runtime Shared libraries (RSL) could not be associated with the file because of the publication settings Quicktime.»

  The wording may be a bit off, it's memory. Don't forget, that I'm not even publish at this point, I export. Not that I could make the difference.

  If, after the display of this message, the progress bar continues to fill up until it is completely filled, and then nothing happens. The juice bar is full, do nothing. For hours.

  So after that I've explored the parameters of publication, I found on the 'Flash' tab, a drop-down menu that allow me to choose "merge in code" as the integration of the Runtime Shared Library with the file. Then I hit publish. The progress bar fills up and disappears, press OK. Still, I can't find any movie file (or even the place where published GB of files) on my computer.

  After that, I try to export. The appeared before warning disappeared, but the progress bar always crashes when it is full, and no file is produced.

  One thing I thought is maybe it has to do with the number of images in my file. I inserted the action stop at the end, so the video stops and does not loop when previewing the SWF, however there are still many blank executives, which contain all objects or interpolations or something like that. The setting is currently 'stop encoding finally framework', which I guess means the last picture of my video before automatic shutdown. I can't find a way to make the empty frames after this point to disappear, I tell myself that it is part of the program itself.

  If anyone has other issues that will help in the face of this point, let me know.

  I searched these forums and is about 4 with the unanswered question, I can find no help anywhere else on the web either.

  If anyone knows of any other method to convert the SWF or FLA file about any other useful such as MPEG, AVI, etc., please let me know. I tried Media Encoder and After Effects, and none of them could help me to convert the file.

  When you select "when the last image is reached" for the option "Stop exporting", it will stop recording when the movie reaches the last frame of the movie. However, if you have "stop();" action in the context of the film, it stop the film, but continues to record the movie and the memory of your system runs. You can comment out the stop action or specify the duration of the recording control option "after a time' option 'stop export '.
