Export XML FCP in emitter of mercury

Hello

is it possible to export the current project to an FCP XML from a native plugin? I'm trying to implement a plugin which exports the chronology of a different rendering engine during playback and then provides information of time code in real-time.

Thanks for your help already!

Karsten

Panels of HTML5 is from too, but no, there is no way to export XML FCP of in a C++ plugin, today.

[It is a pretty popular feature request].

  • InDesign, export XML and the Task FORCE

As a producer of a weekly, I need advice as to generate xml from Indesign CC (Mac) data standards NITF, at the choice of my digital Distributor. This includes dividing an article - that can be formatted in single text - in two equal elements: one for the title, signature, etc. and one for the body of the text. Is it possible to do without altering the original route, intended for printing? I would rather not have to break an image into two just for this purpose - for each article in the newspaper. In short: an image, an ACE, maybe two items, the head and the body? There is no shortage of advice around xml, nor on the NITF standard for dress news, but I have yet to find the one dealing with both. Thanks in advance.

If I understand correctly, you just need to label the elements properly. To use a simple example, if I have a single image of text that contains a header and body text, I would create two tags, one for the title and one for the body. Then, I select the heading and apply the tag title and made similarly to the body. When you export to xml format, you will have two items with the title tag and the other with the body tag.

I am ignorant as to the requirements of the Task FORCE, and so you need anew XSLT to perform on the exported XML file that would comply with the standard. I do not know because I am not aware of it. This part, if necessary I would do in an xml editor or a good text editor who may be able to it's needs.

  • Import & Export XML

Just need to clarity and guidance.

I have a form created in LC Designer ES2 that "ideally" needs to export its data to an XML file to be saved. I did it in the 'form' opening in Acrobat Pro, however, it would be great if the data can be exported using player - with a script of a button in the form

I'm confused if this is possible. In my view, that it can be. So, if this is the case, I will need a few details on how to do it. I tried a number of things without success.

    I need:

    • sample script for the button?
    • settings in the properties of form LC?
    • understanding of the PDF "certified", if this is necessary and how to install - does the same thing to extend the functionality of player?
    • Can it be tested in LC Designer, or player features must be extended and tested outside the LC Designer?

Secondly, can the XML be imported into a form to pre-fill some fields (again, using the reader)? The reason is that there will be no doubt (fields added, etc.) changes to the form, and it would be nice to be able to use the existing data for the "legacy" fields, so users need only update the fields renaining.

With respect to licensing, there are less than 500 of them, so I'd like to avoid making a huge investment in LiveCycle Enterprise software, if this is not necessary. It would be much more that I need at the moment and I'm not bold enough to learn how to use it.

If it is not possible to export directly to the client computer, is there a different way for the reader to make (for example using a server)?

    Thank you

    Stephen

    Hello

The only way to import and export XML in Reader data is if the form is Reader enabled using LC Reader Extensions ES2 beforehand.

Reader allowing the form with Acrobat will not work.

  • Categories, the application and configuration settings not migrate in the exported XML file

We have exported our FDM of an environment and it application another via XML file imported. We have experienced several issues highlighted on the link below. In addition, the control of 'Catégories' table is not migrated at all and there seems to be no option to import or export step on the control panels. In addition, I find that many other parameters have not been migrated, such as:
-Administration | Configuration settings | Allows a custom period description
-Administration | Application settings | Batch charger
-Administration | Application settings | Format of Date key time mask
    -Etc etc

Please can anyone suggest why they have not migrated successfully? It's quite frustrating because at the present time, we have to recreate settings manually in the following environment and the control panel. Y at - it a potential bug here? We use FDM version 11.1.2.1.

  • How to put back an exported xml file

    Hello

I want to export a xml file, but well indented. Could you help me?

I found this 'http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1323539?tstart=0' in our forum, but I want to apply to the prettyPrinting at the exportfile.

To help you, the lines at the end of my script:

    " myCont = myWorkFolder + ' / ' + myExportNameFile + '_' + myPageName.threedigit () +"_"+ myArticle.threeDigit () + '." Cont.XML';

    myFileCont = new file (myCont);

    xmlElement.exportFile (ExportFormat.xml, myFileCont, false); ".

    Thank you

The other thread was on the E4X XML class included in Extendscript. You may have about the export of the InDesign structure XML document. It's confusing, but the two things have nothing in common.

To get what you want, I would apply a transform during export. See http://news.oreilly.com/2008/07/simple-pretty-printing-with-xs.html for a sample .xsl file (that you define in document.xmlExportPreferences.transformFilename, see http://jongware.mit.edu/idcs6js/pc_XMLExportPreference.html )

  • "Generic error" when importing XML FCP files

When you try to import any XML from Final Cut Pro file, I get the following "Importer reporter an generic error." What this mean and does it perform a work around? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for sending a copy of the FCP XML, Bill. What seems to be stumbling first is that audio mixed types of channels. For example, stereo and mono. I see two workaround solutions:

    • limit audio content in the source project to clips of a channel type.
    • import the FCP XML in a Premiere Pro CS6 project, and then open the project in CS7. Note that, while CS6 managed to import the FCP XML, a dialog box warns against "possible problems during the translation," which are recorded in the minutes (which I stop not to see again, so no idea what these questions are...)

I entered a bug report and your FCP XML in the annex. As always, no promise as to the be/when it will be addressed.

  • Exporter .xml workflow - advice needed

    Hi all

I use Bridge CS6 /Camera Raw (win7 64 bit) to import, set and export aerial imagery for various deliverables clients. I have included using PS CS6 via the bridge to create my final exported files. So far, everything works fine.

Because it is an 'interim' (used to create something else) step overhead in terms of local storage and archiving becomes too high (1000's of large files) - we need save storage space. So, asked me if it is possible to back up only the setting for each image parameters, I created, so we are not trying to save terabytes of temporary images and still have the ability to create the same exact imagery some time in the future from archived original files and my settings saved.

I said I can do this, because I sometimes saved a parameter unique .xml in a project such as a seed for other work adjustment. My problem is that I can't understand guidelines to help Bridge to get there. I don't know if it's just me or the convoluted wording of aid is, but here's what I do:

For all files in directory (all CR by applying adjustments) x I need to save the .xml files each adjustment for these images. This setting export can go to the same directory x or I can direct the app (bridge or CR) to save to a network archive location.

This should be a simple thing to do. I think I'm too stupid to understand it on my own. Any help will be greatly appreciated!

PS-I'm a link that the Forum of bridge too because I do not know where I could get my answer...

    Table name restrictions

The following restrictions apply to the names of the tables:

    * By default, the names of tables in a database are stored as uppercase. If you have a table in lowercase or lowercase name and you want to retain the respect of the case for the name of the table, you must put the name in quotes. The name must match exactly the name of the table stored in the database.
Some operating systems require that the quotes on the command line should be preceded by an escape character. Here are examples of how respect for the case can be stored in different modes of export.

  • Export XML data analyzed

    Hello

I have an AS3 script that analyzes the the iTunes library XML file and converts it into looking at something better and usable. The script works well and the well formed XML is traced in the output window. But I would like to export to an independent XML file instead of the output window. Does anyone know how I would go to this topic?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

If it is a web-based application, you can use the script on the server to save your xml file in a file side.
