express Server error 0x800ccc90 Outlook download email

advice please

Your credentials for the account may have gotten jammed.  Try to remove the e-mail account, close and reopen OE and then try adding again.  Beware also of antivirus software interferes with the OE (see www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3).

You can also check via webmail (if you have access) to verify that the server is running properly.  In addition, you can try to go to file | Identities and establish a new identity that will give you an incompetent registry for OE but also a new message store.  Then add your account and see if it works and if this is the case, then use a file | Import | Messages to bring them from the old identity.

This means generally that there is a dubious message on the Server Windows Live Mail will not or can not download. Connect to the Web e-mail account and start by clearing out the junk mail folders and deleted .

Then, create a new folder and move the contents of the Inbox to the new folder. Try to send/receive again in Windows Live Mail - it works now, or you see an error message? No new e-mail message should appear in the status bar.

You can then return half of the messages to the new folder in the Inbox and then send/receive again in Windows Live Mail. Repeat until the error occurs, if you can identify any rogue message that won't download.

Check with your email provider that you have the correct settings.  If you use OE, then go to tools | Accounts | Mail | Properties and verify that the settings are correct.  You can also try to log via webmail if you have this option to determine if your ISP is having problems or if it's your computer.

    Hello

    What antivirus do you use?

Errors that you see are usually caused by interference with the anti-virus analysis program e-mail.

Turn off e-mail on your antivirus scanning software and check if this solves the problem.

You can also consider the upgrade to Windows Live Mail, which is a Windows Mail update version.

    Hello

    ·         Were there any changes to the computer, lately?

    Method 1:

    (a) start the Windows Messaging mail client.

    (b) click on 'Tools' from the main menu and choose "accounts".

    (c) a pop up will appear showing you all the email accounts in Windows Mail. Select the one that gives you the error and then click on the button 'Properties'.

    (d) another window pop up displays all parameters associated with this account.

    (e) under the "servers" tab check the 'e-mail username' and 'password'. One of them would certainly incorrect which translates the ID of Windows Mail error 0x800CCC92

    (f) to avoid having to enter the user name and password each time, check the box in front of "Remember password".

    (g) once you make the appropriate changes, click on the button 'apply' then 'OK'. Close the other pop-up window

Method 2: Remove the existing from Windows mail email account and create a new one following the link provided below.

    Thank you

Sounds to me like the malicious software that you have installed ruined some files of Windows and even if you think you've fixed the infection, the files are always broken.  If this happened to me, I back up all my data, collect all my kits installation of software and product keys, then wipe the disk and reinstall everything, restore my backups of data later.

  • When reading emails, said TB connected to the server, but is not download emails

The following suddenly started happening. (Things are working very well for several months on the same account settings).

When I try to retrieve the email from my IMAP e-mail server, there is a message at the bottom that says that Thunderbird is connected to the server, but nothing happens thereafter - no emails are downloaded.
Thunderbird invites me even a password to connect to the IMAP server as it usually does.

However, note that I * can * send emails without problem (via the configured SMTP server).
As well, I have no problem reading the emails on the server even on other customers of emails with same account settings.

The problem started after I upgraded to Thunderbird 38.2.0, an earlier version of a few months back).
Thunderbird prompted me to do the upgrade, and it can have kicked so he was still connecting and authenticating to the IMAP server - which is just speculate offshore.

Any ideas what I can do?

Details of the platform: Thunderbird 38.2.0, Windows 7 x 64, entering via the SSL Protocol IMAP, SMTP outgoing via the SSL protocol

    Thanks in advance

    Glen

Thunderbird 38 is indeed longer than previous versions... See my blog. There are a few things you can do. Ranging from Fix Security broken on the server to a temporary add-on which will establish market if the server hotfix is delayed.

  • Windows live mail smtp server error-won\ ' t load emails

having a windows live mail error in Server outgoing so it will not load email

    Hello

It is a "thing" for Microsoft. Try these steps that may solve the problem.

    1. open Windows Mail, select the Tools menu and then click accounts.

    2. Select your e-mail bellsouth.net under mail account, and then click the Properties button.

    3. in the Properties window, select the servers tab and check the box my server requires authentication , under outgoing mail server.  Then click on the settings box.

    4. in the window of the outgoing mail server , select use same settings as my incoming mail server and click the OK button.

    5. in the Properties window, click the Advanced tab.  Change the port of mail outgoing (SMTP) from 25 to 587.

    1. Click applyand then click on the OK button.
    2. Click close in the window Internet accounts.

  • Outlook Express: Unable to connect to the mail server! (error 0x800CCC90)

original title: Outlook Express: unable to connect to the mail server!

Im trying to get my outlook express to receive and send messages from my live.com account but it comes back with: the server responded with an error. Account: "Live.com', Protocol: POP3, server response:'-ERR AVG POP3 Proxy Server: cannot connect to the mail server!', Port: 110, secure (SSL): no, Server error: 0x800CCC90, error number: 0x800CCC90."

Someone knows how to fix this? I tried to remove and add the account again using IMAP instead of POP3, but still get an error message, the e-mail address and the password are all correct and I think that ive got the right to Server (live.com?) Im not exactly computer so any help would be greatly appreciated.

You will find the right settings for an account on this page live.com: send and receive Hotmail from an e-mail application. To change your settings, select Tools > accounts > {account} > properties and make right onto the tabs of servers and Advanced entries.

[I moved your question on the forum just for Outlook Express issues.] You should not notice a difference].

  • Error downloading emails - error number: 0x800CCC90 - "unable to connect to the mail server!...» »

    De : Regina_Miami

    Good evening
Today, I tried to download my emails in Windows Mail. I got the following error message:

Account: 'pop.ig.com.br', server: 'pop.ig.com.br', Protocol: POP3, server response: '-ERR AVG POP3 Proxy Server: cannot connect to the mail server!', Port: 110, secure (SSL): no, Server error: 0x800CCC90, error number: 0x800CCC90

    Could someone help?

The problem is that you allow your antivirus to mess with your email. Which is not recommended for the reasons explained here:
    http://thundercloud.NET/infoave/tutorials/email-scanning/index.htm

Chances are, AVG antivirus was installed with the default installation option. If so, uninstall, then reinstall, but select 'custom' install, which then allows you to deselect install his embarrassing module scan to email.

While AVG is uninstalled, then try Windows Mail, just to check that the culprit has been found.

IE has nothing to do with OE in this regard. If the problem is intermittent, I suspect a problem with your modem, router or ISP. Reset the modem and the router, if you use one, and if that doesn't help, get help from Onetel on line and have them check the signal of your modem.

  • Error 0x800CCC90 when the Comcast of Windows Mail e-mail server access

I have Windows Vista on my PC and use Windows Mail. I can't set up a Comcast email newly created to work, even if I created my account according to the guidelines.

    Mail - POP3 server type

    Incoming mail server: imap.comcast.net

Number of server port = 587 using SSL

Outgoing mail - type of SMTP server

    Outgoing mail server: smtp.comcast.net

Server port number = 993 using SSL

When I try to connect to the mail server, this error:

Account: "mail.comcast.net', server: 'imap.comcast.net', Protocol: POP3, server response: ' * OK IMAP4 loan ', Port: 993, secure (SSL): Yes, Server error: 0x800CCC90, error number: 0x800CCC90

I can't directly connect to the mail server from Comcast using the login ID and the password I used in Windows Mail.

Can someone tell me what causes the failure of WIndows Mail?

    Thank you very much!

If you want an IMAP account, you cannot use the settings of POP3 that mentions the error message. It's one or the other.

  • Windows Mail has stopped receiving mail on only 1 e-mail account error 0x800ccc90

Until Sunday, Windows Mail would reimburse the Comcast e-mail server e-mail. Now, I'm more able to receive messages from Windows Mail with one of my email accounts. 2 other email addresses that I use always continue to send and receive mail. All POP3 and smtp mail settings are recording with all accounts. The port numbers are also the same. When I log into Windows Mail I get an error as follows: account: "Bud Horner', server: 'mail.comcast.net', Protocol: POP3, server response: '-ERR invalid command', Port: 995, secure (SSL): Yes, Server error: 0x800CCC90, error number: 0x800CCC18. The computer and Windows mail worked fine sending and receiving more than 3 years. Why now all of a sudden I get this problem with one of the e-mail accounts? Nothing has been touched or changed. Help!

It could be a corruption of the database.  First, check that the account works via webmail.  Then, if it, then delete the account in WinMail (and make sure that you do not have antivirus e-mail scan value - see www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3), and then compact and repair the database (see www.oehelp.com/WMUTil/), and then add your account again and see if it works then.
