Extending time away from Internet access

We are close on locationfar good internet access.

After 1 week, we have been unable to open our applications (PS Lightroom and creative cloud) despite having paid our annual subscription in advance

We are now back with the best connectivity

Is there a way we can extend the access to internet and use our applications on site?

It is not unusual to leave the base for a period longer than 1 week

Hi David,

I apologize as the internet connection is required for applications enable the feature. The same is mentioned in the link: Photoshop system requirements

HI - I'm traveling and need access to a photo of my time/time capsule machine. given that I'm traveling I'm not connected to my wifi at home, I'm on another Wi - Fi system. Is this possible to do?

Yes, it is possible, how ever you need a few tweaks

    Here are the instructions:

Really very simple.  That's if you have the Time Capsule and that your computer is configured properly.

    Setting up Time Capsule:

    1 Open Airport utility

    1. tab Open Time Capsule Base Station

1B. Put iCloud NAME in 'Back to My Mac'

1 c. password, then wait for activation (less than 1 minute normally)

1 tablet of Open Time Capsule disks d.

    1. checkbox 'enable file sharing '.

1F. tick 'drive share over WAN '.

    1 h. password self explanitory

    Computer (Mac)

    1. open iCloud in system preferences

    2. put a check mark on "Back to My Mac", wait actication (less than 1 minute normally)

Connection to Time Capsule drive you HOME network or outside of your home network ((INTERNET))

To connect Time Capsule disk on your local (home) network, you must have an internet connection, if you then:

    1. open Finder

    2. in small shared open Finder and double-click the name of your Time Capsule.

    3. double-click on your Time Capsule, enter the password (if you need).

    4. Once connected to your Time Capsule, double click on your drive to mount it enter password (if needed).

5 fact, remember that connection speed depends on the quality of your internet (broadband vs. dial-up).

  • SG200-08 Configuration LAG and Internet access

I have what is probably a very simple and completely the question of noob, but after hours and days of research, I can't quite understand.

I have the switch SG200-08 that I use for the aggregation of connection between a NAS Synology DS713 + and my HP Z820 workstation.

I have ports 1 and 2 set up as LAG CH1 connection to ports 7 and 8 as LAG CH2 connect to the NAS and HP. I'm AT & T Uverse as my Internet provider so I have a single cable from my Uverse router to the switch Cisco to provide Internet access. I also am coming out of my Cisco switch on my Apple Airport Extreme, offering a Wi - Fi connection at home, in addition to access wireless to the NAS.

I have no problem to see and connect to my NAS drive, but my problems comes with regular internet access to my computer.

I created a team with two of my Intel NIC and connect properly to the NAS. My Internet is, however, completely hit or miss.

A few times, it shows Internet access and connects to the web pages very well and other times he will say: no Internet. I tried dragging around ports, enable/disable some settings that I have either read online thinking that it might be one of my problems, but at this point all this COMPUTER jargon made my brain bleed. I don't know if my basic settings are correct or if I need to change something simple to get this to work all this. I have attached a basic outline to help understand my confusion. Not sure if it is my bad configured switch. It could also be my team of SHIFT created in Windows 8. Hope I've provided enough information.

    Thanks for any advice.

    Kind regards

    Toby

    Hello

I had a similar problem with a workstation running Windows 7 and 8 by using a network card Intel 350 - T2 with a grouping of LAG interface.

As soon as I DISABLED FRAMES JUMBO on network cards, the questions is arrested and everything worked fine (ping always successful, the Web pages showing all applications).

Hope this helps for you also.

  • When I connect my computer to the Netgear router, they do not seem to recognize the signal from the modem. I have to run each device directly to the modem (one at a time) for internet access.

I have both a laptop and a desktop computer and use a modem wired high-speed internet.  I bought a router "Netgear" 5 port so that I could have both online at the same time, but when I connect my computer to the router, they do not seem to recognize the signal from the modem. I have to run each device directly to the modem (one at a time) for internet access. It gets very tedious, please help...

  • Is there a firewall means a single VM away from the Internet while still giving access to the LAN?

I'm trying to find a way, if possible, to partition a simple VM away from the WAN (Internet) while allowing access to a subnet of the class-C using VMWare Workstation and outside the computer virtual guest himself?

Install a 2nd NETWORK card is not my preferred option.  Home & comments are windows.

I am currently configuring the MS Loopback map with the host firewall rules, but can't seem to figure out the trick to get this installation work.

    If anyone has any suggestions?

    Thanks in advance...

If you have administrator access to the router that provides your connection to the Internet, you could give a fixed IP address to the virtual machine and set a rule of access on the router to only allow access to IP addresses on the local subnet.

  • Installed New Netgear Wireless Range extender but new network doesn't have internet access.

I just installed a machine net universal range extender for WiFi and the signal over the Wan is very strong, but when I connect to him he says that have no internet access. What should I change? I post what I'm on the Ext network.but when I try to access other sites, it won't let me.

I had the same problem as you and searched everywhere for a positive response and have not had a. I was about to return the netgear Extender when I, fortunately, has found a way around this strange problem.
In fact, it's really simple, and I encourage really all those who eventually get this problem complain to netgear not having their detailed in the guide installation process that they shipped with the product.

In my case, I have a WEP encrypted network.

If you can't access the web interface of the Extender, you need to reset the device by inserting a paper clip in the small hole next to the WPS button (if you don't know already).

When you are prompted for the encryption key and password for the network existing (the original one), you MUST WRITE THE PAST ON THE INPUT FIELD KEY word select and not the field the password. You can choose one of the 4 input key fields, but you MUST write the password on one of them and leave the field blank password (I think it's just for the WEP encryption, which is my case).

I also changed the encryption type for the new network "_EXT" from WEP to WPA/TKIP but kept the same password.

After the connection is complete the Extender successfully verified updates and all the IP addresses are assigned automatically via DHCP.

I hope that I answered in the time before returning the Extender because I don't have a kind of complained after doing this.

    Good luck
    Marlon.

  • If I am away from my computer, say foreigners on holiday, how do I access my email?

    Original title: "e mail"

    How do I?

If I am away from my computer, say foreigners on holiday, how do I access my emails

As I've already said, I'm not too technical and not in computer science so please given the answers simple, thanks

Most (if not all) e-mail providers offer online access to emails (and more of whatever program you use with your computer).  Simply contact the email provider to find out how to access your account through a Web browser (for example Internet Explorer) and you can access your email from anywhere where you are with a computer, a browser and internet access.

    I hope this helps.

    Good luck!

  • Extend my extreme network with another extreme - waiting for internet access

Hello - I have a new generation Airport Extreme (let's call it Extreme1) connected to a Comcast modem and it works very well. The extreme will be the router that the modem has no router function. I'm trying to expand my network to another room with another extreme (let's call it Extreme2). I have a connection cable between two rooms. Extreme1 has an ethernet cable from one of its LAN ports connected on port WAN Extreme2. When I try to create a new network with Extreme2 (in aid of the same name, passwords, etc.) it does not work. He was suspended at the end when he is looking for a connection ("Waiting for internet access")-I did the following things based on what I read here:

    1. Changed IPv6 link local parameters
    2. Tried the whole upward on my Macbook and tried on my iphone
    3. The Wan first and then tried to change the configuration after you done for Extreme2 by creating a network
    4. Tried to create a network with Extreme2 connected directly to the modem
    5. Extreme2 factory reset after every attepmt

And nothing works. Kicker is, I also have a reasonably new airport express and the same thing happens to her as well.

Do I need to adjust some parameters of network that I'm not aware of? Is it possible that my LAN ports are disabled on Extreme2? It is brand new.

    Thanks for any help.

Have you used the Apple Setup Assistant?  If you did, it had notified you that the extreme second was being configured "add using Ethernet. The wizard will automatically configure the second airport with the appropriate settings for you.  All you have to do is enter a name of device for the second AirPort Extreme.

Here I'm assuming that you reset the second extreme to parameters by default until you set it up again and that your second Extreme is the current version of the "tower" or that of previous versions "flat or square.

The example below shows an AirPort Express as the device which is the extension of the network, but you will see the name of your network and AirPort Extreme on your configuration screen.

Post back if you need some tips on using the "Wizard" for your configuration.

  • should I unplug iMac so that away from home for a period of time

I'll be away from home for 6 weeks, we have power periodic interruptions where I is direct, he bet to unplug the iMac and airport Time Capsule at the moment that I'm missing?

As long as the computer is turned off, it is not really necessary to unplug. IF you live in one are frequent interruptions with electricity then I would say strongly to get a UPS to protect your devices.

  • Wireless cause: the network connection from the laptop to the router, but internet access comes and goes through procedures to 'fix '.

The Dell laptop I bought is little used, not refurbished a downsizing Corporation.  I bought a refurbished by Cisco, Cisco Linksys router.  I can't stay on the internet for any period of time.  At the time that I open the browser, after the wireless connection, it goes your 'connected' to 'no internet access.  If I go through the diagnosis and fix it, it says I'm connected, but 'no Internet' returns quickly.  It shows a diagram of the connectivity of the laptop to the router but not to the internet router.  I had a second router refurb sent, and it does the same thing.

This is all new to me (wireless and mobile), so my words my being turned off, but I wonder if it might be the wireless card, or network card (or is it just a different name for the router).  I mean, it's something in the laptop.  If I plug the DSL directly into the laptop, I have a perfect internet connection, so I did not thing is my provider.
