Extract a part of a large MP4 in a swf

I would like to create a swf (about 2 minutes) from a file (12 minutes) larger MP4. I can do using other software, such as Roxio Videowave, to extract the desired part and create a new shorter than Flash Pro MP4 can handle. My question is whether it is possible or even practical, to make video extraction using just Flash Pro. It would be desirable to do so because the step of additional software seems to reduce the quality of output.

use adobe media encoder.

    I tried to extract a part of a picture so that I can work on only a part of it.

    First of all, I import an image and use the tools KING to get the global rectangle.  Then I try to use the global rectangle to extract the part of the image that I want to work on.  That seems to work, except when I move the Courvite back on the original image, the original image "becomes" the extracted image... I tried to copy the original image before working, but the same thing seems to happen... any thoughts.

    This is because you have connected your destination "img" imaq extract.vi to a new imaq create. Create one, give it a different name. It will work.

  • Can someone tell me how to extract a part of a digital waveform?

    I am trying to extract a part of 2 analog waves (using the http://zone.ni.com/devzone/cda/epd/p/id/4149 for example) analog signals is synchronized with a digital waveform.  I need to extract the same portion of a digital waveform.  Can someone tell me how to add the digital extractor in the example above?

    Hello

    Here's your extractor example slightly modified in order to add the digital data extraction.

    The principle is exactly the same, the tricky part is how to get digital data which is different from analog data.

    You can also add nodes property to identify the value read on the analog graph sliders on the digital chart.

  • How can I extract a part of a signal inside a loop control and simulation?

    I would like to extract the part of my signal between 0 and 3 seconds. I tried to use the extract of Portion of Signal VI Express, but it does not work. I'm setting the length to the offset 0 and 3 seconds. However, nothing is displayed in the output. I used this before VI successfully, but it wasn't in a loop control and simulation. Is there something special I need to do to make this work properly in this case?

  • WMP 12 and large MP4 movie files

    I use WMP 12 as a server that is running Windows Storage Server 2008-R2 Essentials which is fully updated with Microsoft Updates. My drive configuration is the C 60 GB with 31,67 GB free drive and the car has just been defragmented and a free D 12 to 6 to Reader & 6 TB used never defragmented. I have 3 types of video/movie files that include wmv loaded. MPG and mp4. Most of the time my file sizes range from very small, a few MB, to larger sizes a little less than 9 GB. Recently I tried to load videos that extend into the 13 GB to about 20 GB in size. Although these files appear in the windows Explorer, they don't show in the list of folder/file WMP. All these files are mp4 but I have other mp4 is responsible and they play very well.

    Anyone know what is happening? WMP 12 has problems with i.e. large mp4 files those beyond 8 GB? WMP 12 has a restriction of file size? If there is a restriction that is a registry setting and can it be changed?

    Any ideas would be welcome.

  • How to read a selected part of a large ascii file (~ 200 MB)?

    I have several large ascii files I need to read in.  These files are part of a standard test for an application that I wrote. How well my application parses files determines how the program accomplishes its main task. For a real test, the application captures live data in the form of a 2D double table and analyzes the data of this form.  This table is long of 3 million items (1 ms/s @ 3s).  I usually never treat any form of ascii file because all data is stored as TDMS using this method (though I need to update this link with a few critical changes). (Thank you again Ben)

    Ascii files I have to read all have two rows of data from the header, followed a ~ 8 million lines of data representing the data I capture in general.  Each line contains point data and a value of accumulated time.  I need to load each file separately, analyze the data within, and communicate the results.  The part that I need help for loading of the file.  So far, I was able to load a file without memory problems.  A stay is similar to a real test, I need actually only 3 million lines for analysis.  But I have to be able to select the 3 million lines by time values in the file.  Technically, I only need the single column of data and the frequency of sampling, represented by time values.

    How can I select a specific section of an ascii file and read them in LabVIEW as a double 2D array?  Which is possible for 3 million points of data without crippling the system using all the memory just to accomplish this task?  An alternative version of 'last resort' would be to run a separate program to create a file DDHN that I could then read and go from there.  But I prefer to read the file directly to my request.

    I'm running on an HP EliteBook 8540w with Win 7 Enterprise (64-bit), i7 CPU bicoeur (2.67 GHz) with 8 GB of RAM and 32-bit LV2011.

    Thank you

  • Extract a part of SelectedItem.data of ComboBox

    Hello!

    I only use AS2.

    A ComboBox is filled with elements all built on the same pattern:

    Each element contains:

    1 - name of the location (which can contain hyphens, spaces and apostrophes)

    2 - details (always indicated in parentheses)

    The user selects an item that will be sent to research purposes via PHP to query a MySQL database.

    The variable to send should only be the name of the place , because the location of my MySQL Table column contains the names of place without details.

    How can I extract only the name of the place?

    Thank you very much in advance for your help!

    Best regards.

    You can use...

    dataToSend = String (yourCBName.selectedItem.data) .split ("(") [0]; ")

    where 'yourCBName' is replaced by any name you assign to the combobox

    This line will split the data line in two parts where begins the parentheses and point to the first part of it.

    We know not if you use the appearance selectedItem.label of the combobox, that could help.  What you might consider doing is to have just the data part of the combobox control have the data you want to send, and use of the part of the label to display the entire bit of text you show... or the reverse of the where the label is just the part of name and that is what you send.

  • Extract specific pages of a large pdf file based on a search term

    I have a very large pdf which is about 450 pages.  I want to put a search term that appears in about 60 pages of this document.  Then I would create a separate pdf document that these 60 pages (ie: I'm trying to filter down so that the pages I'm interested in).  I use Adobe Standard X and does not know how to do this.  In fact, I can't even understand how to extract pages outside a specific range IE: if I see that the pages I want are 1,4,7,9,11,14,16 etc I do not understand how to put manually in a separate pdf file.  Any help would be appreciated.

    It's here. He left the individual pages, but you can easily remove them manually. The new document is saved with the same name as the document with the addition of a prefix '_searched '.

    Source = active document document

    var sd = this;

    var Nwords, nd, currWord, fp, fpa = [];

    var fn = sd.documentFileName.replace (/ \.pdf$ / i, "");

    Browse through the pages

    for (var i = 0; i)< sd.numpages;="" i="" +="1)">

    Get the number of words on the page

    Nwords = sd.getPageNumWords (i);

    To loop through the words on the page

    for (var j = 0; j)< nwords;="" j="" +="1)">

    Get the current Word

    currWord = sd.getPageNthWord (i, j);

    If (currWord = sword) {}

    Excerpt from the current page to a new file

    FP = fn + '_' + i + '.pdf ';

    FPA.push (FP);

    sd.extractPages ({start: i, nEnd: i, cPath: fp});

    Look no further this page

    break;

    }

    }

    }

    Combine the individual pages in a single PDF

    If {(fpa.length)

    Open the document that is the first page of extracted

    ND = app.openDoc ({cPath: fpa [0], oDoc: sd});

    Add all the other pages that have been extracted

    If (fpa.length > 1) {}

    nd.insertPages ({nPage: i - 1, cPath: fpa [i], start: 0, nEnd: 0});

    }

    }

    Save to a new document and close it

    nd.saveAs ({cPath: fn + "_searched.pdf"});

    nd.closeDoc ({bNoSave: true});

  • Possible to extract a part of code HTML of WebView and exposes to QML?

    Spending a few hours to research this, but not really sure.

    My application has a lyrics Viewer, it opens the page with a WebView then uses evaluateJavaScript to strip all normal visible header and the actual words, everything works great and leaves me with just the text words.

    I would like to take that text and somehow move it to QML so I can strip things html and ending up with a gross QString with the text of the words and finally display it with a tag, but not really sure how.

         webView.evaluateJavaScript(
                             "var content = document.getElementById('mw-content-text');" +
                             "while (document.head.firstChild) { document.head.removeChild(document.head.firstChild); }" +
                             "while (document.body.firstChild) { document.body.removeChild(document.body.firstChild); }" +
                             "var header = document.createElement('h1');" +
                             "header.style.color = ('white');"+
                             "header.innerHTML = '" +  lyricsDataArtist+ " " +  lyricsDataSong + " Lyrics';" +
                             "document.body.appendChild(header);" +
                             "var lyrics = content.getElementsByClassName('lyricbox')[0];" +
                             "lyrics.removeChild(lyrics.firstChild);" +
                             "document.body.appendChild(lyrics);"+
                             "lyrics.style.color = ('white');"+
                             "document.body.style.background = ('black');"
                             );

    Any ideas appriciated.

    Thank you

    I suspect you can do what you need by calling navigator.cascades.postMessage () of your injected JavaScript and catch with the WebView::messageReceived signal. I use this mechanism in my application support to get stuff to the pages loaded in my C++ code, but it also works well with QML.

    65hall,

    You can:

    (1) object > path > Outline Stroke if not already done in order to have a filling / no trace the path;

    Create 2) and place form (as pictured) cutting;

    (3) select) 1 and 2) and Pathfinder > less before (subtract from shape area in older versions).

  • Use regular expressions to extract .llb file from the path name

    I'm trying to be smart (always a dangerous thing) and use a regular expression to extract the name of a library to a filepath converted to a string.   While I appreciate there are other ways to do this, regex seems to be a very powerful way of neat, I would be able to operate.

    IE, if I have a string of type, C:\applications\versions\library.llb\toplevel.vi, I want to be able to extract the library.llb of the string, because it will be of variable length, may include the numbers & spaces and may be located in a file of variable depth hierarchy.   In other words, I want to extract the part of the string between the last-which ends with .llb

    The best I managed so far is \\+.*llb who all returned less the drive letter and the toplevel.vi

    Can someone help me to achieve this goal, or I'm better by using an alternative method (for example filepath string in array, search for .llb)

    Thank you
