  I don't see the error that you notice.

  The documentation notes that this form of blackberry-signer syntax is available only on recent versions of th emost of this command. I ran these commands on the current beta version 10.2 public but it should work with 10.1.

• How can I change my BB10 project uses a makefile?

  I recently created a new Blackberry Momentics project and it works fine from the IDE, but I need to be able to build the command-line with a Makefile. I ran 'make' in the Terminal, but encountered an error because the Makefile does not exist.

  I checked the sample applications I have been watching, and they have all of the makefiles. I found a few sources that say you can choose whether you use a managed version or a makefile when you create the project, but I have not found any this option in the latest version of Momentics (2.1). I tried to change this setting in the properties for the project, but the constructor parameters of generation slot C/C++ are grayed out.

  How can I change my BB10 project uses a makefile? If this is not possible, how can I require a new project to use a Makefile rather than a managed build?

  I realized that my problem was a little more specific than I thought, as happens only in OSX while trying to use a Makefile for a native Core project.

• Update 2015.3 is designed to open and use projects from previous versions?

  There is much talk in this forum on the problems of opening and editing of projects created in previous versions. Many personal responses I recommend starting new projects and do not continue with the older.

  Publishers and producers professional re-edit, to update and extract of old projects all the time. Is there final guidance on what projects/features or versions can be reused?

  Hi Bruce,.

  It's giving me advice. You should be able to update any project and it works in many cases, it is simply not advisable on complex projects. For me, it's one with a lot of sequences that contain a lot of cuts, titles and effects. One with many multi camera sequences too. After that compositions Effects connected through dynamic links, media card based instead of footage of codec, etc., intermediate are examples.

  With a backup of the project, such as an automatic backup, you can certainly try it. You can always revert to a previous version to continue working.

  I am a professional editor who happens to work now at Adobe. Personally, I have avoided all projects in all software updates unless I had to. In doing so, I always did so with a backup.

  In general, only update of existing projects after simplify as much as possible and only when you actually need.

When it connects, it cannot only extraction of the project assigned to him, who will not have the confidential things. If it attempts to log on to the other project, it will refuse access to him.

  My laptop has 8i client. If the customer 8i can be able to export the 8.0.5 db?
  Since on the customer site, we limit from 08:00-17:00 hours and no work on Saturday and Sunday.
  I want to export all of the database and import to the office so that we can play on it and have our own time doing
  What we want to do on the database. for example the extraction.
  This project contract barely of liquidated damages (LDP) we have to finish it in time.

  System = 'true' attribute identifies the action as an "action of system", which is not presented to users of the application to allow in the dialog box that displays the first launch.  On the contrary, this action authorization by the operating system (if she chooses to).  The other case (absence of this attribute, or system = 'false') is a 'user action"which is granted (or denied) by the user of your application.

  All native applications require this kind of action to be granted in order to run native code.

  I built a site in css, with a fixed main div and a sidebar on the left div.

  I incorporated (sliding and dropped) a fla file, I built in the bar of div left and downloaded the html, css and flash files on my host site (who already had the js for flash files).

  But, when I view the page of the flash element is just a white space.

  I downloaded and looked at the files flash on other pages is not using css and they worked very well.

  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  FLA files are native Flash project files. They cannot be opened in web browsers or DW. To work on web pages (HTML), you must convert your project to flash Shockwave (SWF) or Flash Video (FLV).

• I can create a document that uses cells from another document

  I want to have a single numbers document that pulls the numbers by a lot of other documents.

  Each pay period, I have a different document with hours of work on the different "stuff".  This document has formulas in the cells that add columns, create totals, show the amounts of money, etc...  Now, I want 1 document where I can create a cell with a formula (?) that allows you to view the totals for all other documents.  Is this possible?

  You can pull numbers from other tables, even tables that are not in the same spreadsheet (tab).  But without a script a bit bulky will not pump you the values of a separate document numbers.

  In number because it is easy to have multiple tables on a single sheet, and there may be multiple sheets in a document, I recommend you organize your time-past data is self-contained in a single document.

  In addition, it is much easier to build a summary information in a table, it is to consolidate data from different tables. Then you might consider making your time spent in a table entries.  Then you can extract summaries of project, etc. a table.

  Recommend to have a look at the model of "Personal Budget" file > new to see how it would work. You would add "hours" instead of "dollars", but the principle would be the same.

  What is the reasoning behind the development of the new measurement feature Studio Installer?  I have never had any problem using Wix for mixed deployment c#, C++ that use Measurement Studio products.  It just seems like an odd sense to send the development resources, opossed say, improve support WPF?  Or documentation of the product and samples for WPF?

  The reasons that we have dedicated development resources by creating a builder application to install for Measurement Studio are:
  1. Once Visual Studio has diminished in favour of their native installation project, the number of support requests involving the deployment of Measurement Studio has increased considerably.
  2. Apart from the Setup project, the only other method of deployment which Measurement Studio is fully supported is Windows Installer XML (WiX), which was not well received by customers. Almighty, WiX has a steep learning curve, even to accomplish a simple deployment.
  3 measurement Studio does not support InstallShield, among other popular solutions to WiX for the deployment.
  4. the supported deployment methods, no guide customers what drivers OR and components attached to their application to ensure good run time behavior.

  Builder installer helps to solve these problems and has already received positive feedback from many customers.

  I managed to proclaim a STL100-2 which is the limited edition. As I develop through the Android Runtime, I notice the native bar with the menu icon and back button on the bottom of the screen. This happens only in the OS10.2, force the application of ART to meet the lower screen width and the same height, thus causing a total contraction of the user interface. And the funniest part is that we can not control using the Android Runtime, appearance or existence.

  I want to ask which version of OS should I develop on? If I hold the 10.2 available on the Developer.BlackBerry.com update or should I downgrade it and continue my older version of the OS.

  I don't know what version of the OS is available in trade, and that the version of the OS on the STL100-2 simulates the real device.

  BTW I've updated my STL100-2, Gallery and many other icons have disappeared?

  I am facing a problem when I try to run or debug my app. I made this app in air 1 year ago and recompile with the blackberry sdk (I also integrate some swc libraries that I can't recompile).

  When I try to debug or run that I have an exception message:

  It's questions - bug in Packager - caused by lots of files bundled in your application.

  The work around:

  Do not use the option - airpackager launchApp (or launch of the FB integration options),

  use blackberry - deploy tool (command line), but instead specify package- option, you must explicitly specify - package-name and - package-options id. the package name you need to know (comes from app.xml) but the package id is the unique name generated automatically - you can extract file .bar if you unpack and check the META-INF/MANIFEST. MF for the Id attribute of the Package (also package id is printed on the console when you install the application on the Simulator).

• Packaging and signing in Flash Builder Burrito using 0.9.4 SDK

  Hey guys. I know frankly, there are 1 million post on the forums about this, but I wanted to be sure and had a few questions myself. Good so I used Flash Builder Burrito to sign and package my request. My app is a Mobile Flex Application and I use 0.9.4 SDK. I used the MANY post on this forum through signature and methods of packaging and it worked perfectly, no errors at all. The two files that I got after conditioning and signature was my apps .bar and bar.sign files. I saw in other post to extract the .bar file to see if its signed and if the icon is there. How do you do this will WinRAR or PowerISO to extract this file type. I fear only because all Iv seen post are all saying theres tons of bugs with the packaging and signing using burrito, but all I could see was that they were using the SDK 0.9.3. Should I have a problem with my .bar file? I don't know how to extract my .bar file to view the contents, so I can at least check to make sure that it is signed and packaged properly. Can someone me another message or an article on how to extract the .bar file and check to make sure that its all good to present, RIMM. My previous version was rejected of RIMM is not signed and sent the Bug of version. I have just re-climbed the .bar I got to use the new SDK and had no errors, so I hope this is right. Anyway thanks in advance and any help would be great.

  The .bar file is just a zip file.  It will work any util that allows to read a zip file.  If you need to rename the .bar to a zip file, which is OK, but be sure to rename it before upload.
