  I'm new to EBS and I have a doubt: what is the right way to keep statistics on the database of my EBS environment?.

  I found that many tables have updated statistics on my EBS environment and also a reading I got can´t take the statistics with DBMS_STATS

  Just use request competing to collect statistics of schema. Although it uses internally the fnd_stats, but its simple and standard way to gather statistics for all schemas.

  People, I spent a few days on this exact same issue awhile back, making my upgrade. I've searched and searched and couldn't find anything that makes sense with regard to this step.

  Finally, a ticket of MOS with the EBS administration team gave me this answer:

  When you run the AutoConfig (which is part of the upgrade process), AutoConfig runs a script called txkcreateACL.sh, which will create the ACL for you:

  So, the quick answer is that nothing should be done related to BSE and ACL. After spending a lot of time to this task, I asked DOC ID 881505.1 to be updated to reflect this important information. Then, they added this line in October 2012:

  ......................................................................................................

  Apply the patch on the ORACLE_HOME 11.2.0.3 after you install the software and before you begin the upgrade.

  I had several extract group running last night, but when I checked this morning, all are added with no mentioned extracted records.
  
  How do I make sure that all extracts keep running all the time during the migration?

  We have set up a physical standby for our EBS R12.2 db.

  To save the resources of the PRIMARY, we do RMAN backup on the standby only and not in primary SCHOOL. Is this a good practice?

  the above is working well and I have same oracle dba provilages and server root privileges...

  sqlplus / nolog as sysdba etc... I am not able to enter into the database of the fast unix... He said sqlplus not found...
  
  even when I'm in the directory where is stored the exe sqlplus... .i receive the same message...

• How to convert Date months in the database that points to the EBS, DWH not.

  We intend to create reports in OBIEE and the Source is EBS. This means that we do not want depends on Datawarehouse and Informatica and OBIApps. Simply create us some reports and that they refer to the EBS database.
  
  End of test, we took an HR report and it contains under columns:
  
  Months (Sun)
  Revenue by Division (Fact)
  Average cost per numbers of workforce (Fact)
  
  In my little survey, we found that the income column is of EBS: GL_BALANCES. And we have configured the base of W_Day_D table in DAC has no column months in EBS (not sure).
  
  Come to my problem, how can I call the month column in my data base stressed EBS. How to convert the Date months in my database.
  
  I can deceive me, but someone please look into this... How can I create columns for this exact report of OBI in EBS database instead of DwH.

  Hang on, if I get it, you want to create report based on columns of EBS directly then using rt BI applications?

  There is then no question of using the W_DAY_D table then.

  Follow

  As long as you have Date column, you can use DB functions to convert them into months (just use the string SUBSTR to extract the month and the year).
  Create your own query instead of using the tables of BI APPS and try to bring a hybrid product.

  Sorry I'm wrong in the understanding of your needs, if I had properly then do the steps above.

  It may not be available for that Oracle doc. But as a principle, why the unrelated database schema is created in the EBS database. This will add more load on the database of EBS, administrative effort. Let's say that your EBS database is down for maintenance, while the other application accessing this scheme does not require maintenance always, it will be down.
