Extract numbers in a table of char

Hello

I'm with LabWindows/CVI to read data from a serial port.  I read the values with ComRdTerm, and they are stored in a char array, the

Table looks like this "1024 576 123 756. I need to extract the figures in this table.

ANSI C sscanf () and formatting functions and the IO Library Scan () are the instrument that you can use to retrieve your numbers. A good C manual will explain the first command and its options, while the second, there is a good description in the online help.

  • How to convert the string with numbers in the table of Boolean 2D

    Hello

I have input a string with comma separated numbers 1,192 (starting at 1).

This string must be converted to a table 2D-boolean. Each number that appears should be true, not true rest.

The 2D table consists of 4 times of 0.47 Boolean values.

    1.48--> [0.47] numbers [0]
    49.96--> [0.47] numbers [1]
    Numbers 97.144--> [0.47] [2]
    145.192--> [0.47] numbers [3]

    If a '1, 49, 97 145' input string put all [0] [0.3] true.

How can it be easy/fast resolved?

    Thanks for help

Break the string of numbers in a table of numbers.  (Spreasheet String to Array).

In a loop For, index with each issue of this table.  Use in the range and Coerce to see if it is in the range of numbers.  (You can put this in a loop For as auto good indexing through the ranges).  If it's in the range, then use subset replace table to activate the corresponding item in a real.  If this is not the case, do nothing.  Maintain the table of Boolean in a shift register.

Repeat this step for each number in your table.

  • How can I get a subarray of numbers from a table?

    I have a simple VI...

First generate a 2D random numbers table. This 2D chart, I have to show only numbers in a table 1 d.

    Thank you very much!

    Here's a way...

Auto index table 2D using a nested FOR loop (FOR inside a loop FOR). If the table element contains no remains divided by 2, then it is an even number so only will be added to your table 1 d.

    It's stuff right in front...

Try a combination of the following labVIEW

    Tips:

    -For loops

    -Quotient & rest

    -= 0

    -Shift register

    -Build table

    It depends on.

There could be different types of relationships between tables, each using a different route through the tables between the two.

If the same parent table (say that customer) has several child tables (contact, order and service_request for example), so there may be different ways that produce the same results, but involve different numbers of tables.  For example, you may need data in the tables of the order and the customer, but you can get it (ineffective) by joining order information, contact service_request and service_request to the client.  It is faster if you do not include tables that you don't need.

I've heard tell that we join parent child, but not from child to parent. I did not understand this statement.

I don't know what you've heard, or what it means, so I don't understand either.

Oracle can join from parent to child (that is, given a line in the parent table, find related rows in the child table), or vice versa (given a row in a child table, find the related parent).  The optimizer will do whatever he thinks, it's faster.

  • Page numbering and the Table of contents

I have a book containing 23 document files. Document files contain the page numbers in the footer.

One of the document file is a generated table of contents (TOC). Unfortunately, the generated page

the number in the table of contents do not match the numbering of the pages in the files. Here are the details:

    • The title page, in a file by itself, is not numbered
    • The frontmatter, distributed in five cases use lowercase Roman (i - xvi)
    • The body of the text in the remaining 17 files is digital (1-243)
    • The generated TOC uses cardinal numbers of the book as a whole. For example,.
Chapter I is numbered correctly in the footer from page 1. However, he is listed in the table of contents
as starting on page 19, because this is the file real 19th in the book. I put the document numbering
This file from 1 properties and properties of Page numbering for the book as a whole to
      be "continue."
    • The style of the table of contents entries is correct. In other words, the frontmatter uses a tiny Roman and the
      chapters use Numeric

I tried to regenerate the table of contents, but this did not help.

Does anyone have suggestions on what is the way prescribed to do?

OK, I continued to read and this is what I found:

Set the numbering style in the document, and not in the book that we told you. Format > Document > numbering. Choose Arabic or digital. Repeat for the various chapters.

Save and close the chapters. In the book file, click with the right button on each chapter and choose Configure XXX. This is where tell you the book to continue the page numbering or restart at the 1.

Once this is done, update your address. From there, if there are issues, we rely on the logic of the Fm we use every day, and each of us can help you solve.

  • Change the length of a Table column (CHAR data type)

    Hi gurus,

    SQL > select * from version $ v

    BANNER

    ----------------------------------------------------------------

    Oracle Database 10g Release 10.2.0.3.0 - 64 bit Production

    PL/SQL version 10.2.0.3.0 - Production

    CORE Production 10.2.0.3.0

AMT for Linux: release 10.2.0.3.0 - Production

    NLSRTL Version 10.2.0.3.0 - Production

I need to increase the length of a CHAR of a table data type column (currently it's tank (3) and you want to change to char (4)). Here are more details on the table:-

    • Contains more than 20 million lines.
    • Table contains several indexes.
    • Table is referenced by several tables (about 60 tables) and it refers to several tables (about 3)
    • Table has 4 complex triggers. Triggers call procedures and packages.

    What I've tried so far

1 disabled all triggers and ran ALTER statement to increase the length. It took hours and did not finish in a reasonable amount of time, even if no error, but it took more than 12 hours.

2 tried DBMS_REDEFINITION package but it does not work with the standard version of Oracle 10 g.

    I think to try next

    I think same Optics:

Say my name of the existing table is OLD_T1 where the length of column need to increase

-Create a copy (with increased column length) table of OLD_T1, Say NEW_T1

-Move data from in OLD_T1 to the new table NEW_T1

-Lower OLD_T1 (or rename it to OLD_T1_TMP)

    -Rename NEW_T1 to OLD_T1

-Create all indexes, triggers, constraints etc..

I wish to confirm, if my approach is correct? Or someone has a better idea to do this?

Please note: I know that the CHAR data type gives the problem but it is an old system and I don't have authority to change the design of database.

    Appreciate any comment/suggestion

    Thanks in advance

    > I mean, can any application break if it depends on fixed-length?

Yes, because the code can be expected completed on the right areas.

  • How to upgrade only the page numbers from a table of contents in Indesign CS6?

    Hello!

Help, please! I make a medical book with more then 1300 pages and about 40 different table of contents.

I want to update only the page numbers on all the table of contents. But I don't see the option to update the table of contents.

I've seen on other forums that it is a very old and familiar problem. Do you have Adobe already fixed it?

Nothing has changed with the function table of contents. If you update a table of contents using the standard method of the table of contents, the complete table of contents are updated.

You can get the page numbers only updates manually by creating your table of contents by using cross-references.

  • I can't get the page numbers in my table of contents to update when I update the book.

I use Framemaker 11 and I have two tables of contents in my book: one in English and French. Each table of contents to links to various documents in the same book. The reference page for each table of contents is defined and properly displays the positions 1 and 2, I said that it appears, but numbers not updated when the contents of my document files change to another page. I checked the settings of conditional text in my document files; they are correct. When I update the book, I choose to update the numbers, all the cross-references, all text inserts, OLE links, generate a Table of contents, lists, and indexes. What I am doing wrong? Thank you.

If they are not knocked down, then they are certainly not generated files. See the example in the help of FM11: http://help.adobe.com/en_US/FrameMaker/11.0/Using/images/bk_hier_books.png

The 'K' is a TOC file that FM recognizes a generated file.

Because you have created your table of the contents of the French with the help of another structure of the book, you could import reference this TOC file in another file of FM (for example to create an inset text) in the main book you want. However, you need to make updates in two steps. First update the French book to revise the table of contents. Then update the main book to get the rest of the correct pages (and given that the table of french contents are imported by reference, FM always uses the most recent version).

  • How to extract .csv for each table

    Hi all

    I have a query:

    Select distinct ' SELECT * FROM BILL_M.' | Table_name | ';' from all_tab_columns t
    where t.owner = 'BILL_M. '
    and table_name like '% DICT '.

The query returns 80 s table... How can I extract these 80 to 80 csvs table?

    Any help is appreciated.

    Kind regards.

Just an example as a starting point...

This allows the header line and the data to write into files separate if necessary.

    for example

    SQL> exec run_query('select * from emp','TEST_DIR','output.txt');

    PL/SQL procedure successfully completed.

    Output.txt file contains:

The procedure allows for the header and the data to separate files if necessary. Just by specifying the file name "header" will put the header and the data in a single file.

Adapt to the exit of styles and different types of data are needed.

You can then call this procedure for all the tables that you want to extract, with names appropriate for each.

  • Extract data from the table on hourly basis

    Hello

I have a table that has two columns date all the hours of the base and the response time. I want to extract data from the date corresponding previous hourly basis with the response time. The data will be loaded into the table every midnight.

    for example: today date 23/10/2012
    I want to extract data from 22/10/12 00 to the 22/10/12 23

The sub query pulls the date as demanded, but I'm not able to take the time to answer.

    with one also
(select min (trunc (lhour)) as mindate, max (trunc (lhour)) as AVG_HR maxdate)
    SELECT to_char (maxdate + (level/25), "dd/mm/yyyy hh24") as a LEVEL CONNECTION dates < = * (1) 24;

    Please help me on this.

    Try this

    SELECT * FROM table_nm
     WHERE to_char(hour,'DD') = to_char(SYSDATE-1,'DD')
