Extremely slow start of satellite L50-B-235

Hello
My laptop takes up to 4 hours to set market, when he actually decide to turn.
I press the power button, the button lights up, I hear the fan starts working, but the screen remains black. After a few seconds, the fan calms down and that the power light, it is completely "dead" until after several hours, it starts suddenly starting. Initially this after 10 minutes or so, but its worst got to the point that most of the time it was never even starts. Please can someone help! I am in desperate need of my laptop for work!
Thank you

Hello
When my laptop starts up, it takes several hours, but most of the time it doesn't start at all.
I press the power button and the button lights up. I can hear the fan start, but after a few seconds he would calm down even once.
The screen remains black, until he comes to life after several hours, but as I said, most of the time that it is never the case.
Please can anyone suggest how I might solve this problem, because I am in desperate need of my laptop for work!

  • Extremely slow on my Satellite Z930 - 15 X

    Hello

Here is my problem (sorry for my English):

    I have a Toshiba Satellite Z930 15 X.

For several weeks, it is very very slow. If eco or normal mode, it is still slower than the eco mode. * Even without running any program *. When I look at the Task Manager, everything is ok and fluid.

    Is this a hardware problem?
I also noticed that the fan works far more often than the first months of use, even with just an open word document.

The only solution I found is to restart the computer.
After each restart, it is fast as usual, but only for a short period. But at one time or another, the extreme slowness often returns after a break.

    * I also noticed that it often occurs after a suspension or the connection / disconnection of the laptop from the AC outlet.*

(I said I have a few programs installed and no trace of virus and other software malicious (I'm very careful about that)).

Have you had this problem, where it comes from, what can I do?

    Thank you!

    Hello

On this virtual path, it is not easy to tell what exact reason. To be honest I don't think that there is a hardware problem. Fact is that many background processes can slow down the performance of s for laptop. Perhaps some context downloads and installation of the update may be reason your laptop reacts quite slow.

Please check the commissioning and disable all unnecessary applications. If you do not use some of them, they should not start with Windows and run in the background. Also check Windows update option. Turn off automatic updating.

If please do first and check if the laptop runs a little faster.
    Please post comments.

  • Slow start on Satellite L670D

I have a new laptop Toshiba I bought in March this year.
The model is a Satellite L670D-13f. The problem I have with it is it takes 10-15 minutes at least to get started towards the top for internet access. Typing does not it's like a reaction with delay, you must type pause to allow the computer's time to recognize what has been typed, it's very frustrating.

My internet speed is very good, so I do not know what causes the problem.
Can you give me any advice?
    Thank you

Slow start is typical for new laptops. What you need is the optimization of the OS.
Check it please, but a thread very interesting on the optimization of the BONE - http://forums.computers.toshiba-europe.com/forums/thread.jspa?messageID=134947

It's older A300D, but the principle remains the same.

Such behavior of the BIOS is unclear to me. You can enter the BIOS settings? When you set this default setting the same happens again and again?

It is really strange. This isn't the latest model cell phone, and I assume that use you it for a while.
Since when have you noticed what hardware BIOS check at startup? He started all of a sudden without reason?

  • Windows 7 x 64 extremely slow start and the screen 'welcome. '

    Hello!
    I have a laptop Toshiba Satellite A500:

    Intel C2D 2.5 GHz
4 GB DDRII 800 MHz RAM
400 GB 5400 RPM Toshiba HDD
    ATi 4650 GPU

I have Windows 7 Pro X 64 OS real, through MSDNAA

The boot takes 17-21 seconds on the Welcome screen (20-30 seconds ' welcome'), then 1-3 minutes on open office.
I have all the drivers installed, I tried to start the removal of unnecessary startup programs, but it's the same thing, only 1-5 second faster.
I reinstalled my OS several times, the HARD drive is in AHCI mode, but I tried to 'Compatibility', but does not solve the problem.
After bootlogo, there is very high HARD drive activity (people with disabilities search indexer and superfetch too)
With x 86 startup is about 1 min.

I suggest a bit of required diagnosis. Try this [how to solve a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or Windows 7 | http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135]

Your system runs a check of the Performance of Microsoft Diagnostics when starting, why start has slowed to a crawl. And it seems to work many times.  I don't know why this is the case - none of what you posted gives a cause for verification.  Are there other errors leading up to these?  If so, could you put them as well?

Go to start / search and type msconfig and enter.  Double-click the program icon that appears.  Click the Startup tab and check to see if Microsoft Diagnostics is listed as a startup item - it then, uncheck the box. (I did not thiink it is the problem, but it is best to check to be sure.)

Try a system restore to a point BEFORE this problem started to occur.  Here's how: http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/using-windows-vista-system-restore/.  Check the box to show more than 5 days of restore points.  If this does not work, try an earlier point or two.

If this does not work, do a startup repair, boot from the Installation of Windows Vista genuine disc or your recovery disk. Here is the procedure: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/tutorial148.html.  You may need to change the BIOS to do the CD drive first in the boot sequence.  It was boot the PC and wait for the screen where it shows the F key to enter the menu start or start of installation.  Push it quickly. Make the change, save your work and exit.  Insert the CD into the drive and restart.  When you are prompted, press a key to start the PC.

If you don't have a floppy, you can make a recovery disk to http://neosmart.net/blog/2008/windows-vista-recovery-disc-download/ using a burning like software: http://www.snapfiles.com/get/active-isoburner.html and of course a blank CD.  This recovery file is just as good as one that comes with Vista, but it can't do a reinstall.  You can do a system restore or startup repair or even use the command prompt.  Boot from the CD may be your only option to keep the PC "awake" long enough to make the procedures - which even works.

If it does not go to Sart / all Aprograms / accessories / command prompt and right click on command prompt, and then click Run as administrator.

Type sfc/scannow, go and let it run.  It will scan and try to correct some of your system files.  If all goes well, it completes without error, it could not repair (if such errors occur, then post back here).

Then type chkdsk /f /r and enter and let it run.  It will scan and try to fix bad sectors on your hard drive.

If that is not working, after return and we work on other solutions to the problem - we have still quite a few options, we can try - but I think that the first option for recovery (System Restore) is likely to work best if you know ehen this started and can find a restore prior to that point.

Good luck and I hope this helps - but please post back whatever the case.  We are here to help you best we can.

The problem is that the guest OS starts very slowly.  From the moment the power on button is pressed when it goes to windows

Office and all the tray icons loaded, it takes 4 minutes.  While in the comments, things very slow feeling, menus and windows takes a long time to open up, buttons respond slowly, etc.  The system is unable to use interactively.

Exactly the same configuration on VirtualBox starts in 35 seconds.  The virtual VMware and Virtualbox machine is on the same disk hard drive as the bottleneck, which eliminates.

Note that the mark of 1 minute, VirtualBox went to Windows desktop already that VMware will not get on the occasion of up to 3 minutes.

Note that there is no other other than the VMware and Virtualbox virtual machines running those...

Host of OS = Windows Server 2008 R2 Datacenter edition

Server has 4 CPU (Opteron 8347 2.0 Ghz), each with 4 cores (16 cores in total)

    Guest OS = Windows XP SP3 32-bit

vCPU = 2 to 4 cores each (8 cores in total)

    1 GB of RAM

Guest operating system has been installed with all what default values.  For VMware, used Easy Install from VMware.  Nothing else significant running on the host computer.  Host operating system feels very sensitive.  Simple installation without Windows updates; However, additions of comments have been installed.

Can someone tell me what could be the reason that VMware is so slow?

  • Disk error hard satellite L50-B-235

Laptop stopped recognizing Bluetooth, so restarted, but when you start it says something to check a disk and repair the hard disk, which then laptop crashed before completing. Would not start once again, it is:
1 past age on the toshiba screen then tell no boot device
2 load the login screen, then past ages in front welcome saying windows preparation and loading a temporary profile. When he made a mistake shows saying Windows detected a hard disk problem. Back up your files to prevent loss of information and then ask the computer manufacturer to determine if you need to repair or replace the disk. It will then crash after 10 to 30 minutes and the blue screen with my critical_process_died error, which restarts always shows described in 1.

I have Windows (updated 8) 10 and the laptop is less a year. I've tried various searches on google and fixes, including:
Update of system drive where Windows is is locked
Check disk either from the start menu or the command prompt in the temporary profile
Changed the boot order and then back again
    Several reboots
Open to the top of the unit and removed, then replaced the hard drive

Nothing worked, I do not have the recovery media and not really means for the moment. This could be a real hard disk problem (it heats up during boot ups) which would mean it needs to be replaced? If Yes is that these can be purchased with Windows installed on it?

While I update to windows 10 I have a probem with the use of the hard drive because he moved to the use of 100% and the laptop just crashed.

I search in the Admin Panel and I discovered that I have a service called host system: local system (private network). I tanslate it Spanish which is the language was my laptop.

Also I have a problem whit the video card because systems always use the graphic istead intel video card (AMD one). I tried to solve this problem in istalling the graphic control of AMD program, but the program doesent work better because the use of the hard drive is always more 100% and the experience of the computer laptop full length.

  • Extremely slow Boot Up After installing HP Deskjet F4280

I am running Windows Vista Home Basic with 2 GB of RAM.  I have a few days ago I intalled a HP Deskjet F4280 all-in-one.  Since that time I am experiencing extremely slow start when I start my computer.  Things move along fine until I get to the Welcome screen.  That stays on for about 30-45 seconds, then I get a blue screen that remains as long as two minutes.  After the end of the boot system, everything seems to work normally.  I played a little bit and found out that if I turn user account control, I get a normal startup.  Any help will be appreciated.

    1. click on the start menu and click on "Run" and type "services.msc" and press the Enter key.
    2. in the Services window, locate the HP CUE Device Discovery Service and double-click it.
    3. you should find something that says "Startup Type" Who put in "manual".
    4. click on the button "Apply" and close all windows.

Or if you want an alternative, then turn off UAC. It's annoying as hell anyway!
