  Yep, the matrix of Certification is not entirely clear on this point, but a pretty good authority (Matt Milella) said a 'no' for 64 - bit with the add-in: http://essbaselabs.blogspot.com/2012/04/smart-view-64-bit-office-support.html

  For users currently with the "inherited" add-in 2003, the main "point of pain" will be moving to the Add-Ins Ribbon and the corresponding extra clicks / additional hits in each shortcut. Current 2007 users will we have refuted this transition already.

  Hey, we use Essbase excellent Supplement 11.1.2 with office 2010 Excel even if Excel 2010 is not supported by Oracle. Do you know other users to use it with Excel 2010? All reported issues?

• Windows 7 - Excel 2010 - unable to connect to the OLAP Cubes SQL 2000

  Running 32-bit Windows 7 - Excel 2010 - unable to connect to SQL 2000 of the GreatPlains OLAP Cubes - message Getting connection refused actively.

  It works with XP and even load Excel 2010.  I can't find what I need to change in win 7.  I guess that's the firewall or driver settings.  I completely disabled the firewall and still no luck.  I also took the file to connect to the XP machine and tried to use it as an existing connection and still have the error.  I ran Excel on the Win 7 XP SP2, XP SP3 and still no luck.  I have spent hours reading and researching the issue and can not find an answer.
  I tried to change the OLAP service account and open all ports on the server.  Still nothing.  The error message will connect to the client computer and the server does not record demand, so I think that I don't yet get on the server.  I do not understand as well as if the message is actively refusing connection.
  I can run the cubes very well on the server and on the XP SP3 with Excel 2010 machine.
  I'm in my troubleshooting garnis.  There has been some problems, that I have not been able to solve in Microsoft Servers and this is one.  I know that there is an answer.  I'm just not see it.

  I understand that this only is not officially supported yet although I heard that people had the addin working with excel 2010.

  I installed TDM excel 2010 component snap and have excel 2010 (32-bit version) on my laptop.

  When I open a file PDM with 300000 lines using excel importer of PDM, it will automatically start the excel. But it will display a dialog box saying that the number of rows exceeds the limitation of the program (65536). It confuses me because excel 2010 is supposed to be able to open the data file more than 1 million rows.

  The add-in works great with any TDMS file within the limit of 65536 lines.

  Any thought or idea, let me know, thanks.

  Anyone can help with this problem?

  Using Excel 2010, by pressing f11 is supposed to make a graph on a new sheet, but no graphic is displayed. The shortcut alt f1 works but the picture is on the same sheet as it should. He has been installed from the DVD as well as used on my desktop that works properly. How can I determine if it is the program / computer / keyboard or what is stop this work? Using the Windows 7 update, upgrade of Vista by the provided Toshiba Windows 7 upgrade disk.

  Is there an Excel forum? I looked for updated video drivers, but he said that they are up-to-date.

  You will need to talk with the people who run Proveit.com.  Only they can tell you if your results were recorded.

  I think that this may have been covered, but if anyone noticed all the differences in the properties of the ActiveX or methods in labview when working with excellent 2007 versus excel 2010? I know at one point Microsoft had changed a few things excellent 97-2003 "and instead select 'value' in your method, you must now choose"value 2". Is the real wait even for excel 2010? I am currently using excel 2007 at work and 2000 at home, and when I opened my code at home, my call nodes 'have the wrong son' still all required entries are correct. I'm opening 1 workbook and wrote to 4 different excel sheets using Windows XP, excel 2007 at work and have windows 7 and want to use excel 2010 home and prefers no problem or to all the least know what are potential problems. Sorry if this confusion. I think it's the best way I can explain that I have MY head wrapped around it yet.  I do not want to write the same code twice for different versions of excel. (write and test at home, then re - write at work)

  While I don't have excel 2010 available to try and see, Microsoft (and MSDN) has a huge amount of information about calls in all versions of Excel.

  Installed the Vista SP2. Now have printing problems as well as many crashes with only resort to restart. I also installed Office 2010, the same day and crashes when you use Excel.

  I uninstalled SP2. I put auto BU 1 minute on Excel 2010.   I get "WINDOWS has ENCOUNTERED A PROBLEM" popup in Excel often and randomly. I'm out of Excel. When I go back the program, my file is there. I save the file almost after each data entry. It's very frustrating. I would go back to Office 2007 but do not know if that would solve anything.  I also save all the new files in the old format, I guess.  I put 2010 on this computer because my new laptop wit windows 7 Office 2010 has as well.  Help would be appreciated.

  When I try to print an Excel 2010 worksheet in landscape, I get only 2 columns and those who are in portrait mode.

  It is perhaps a problem with the formatting in Excel.  If I were you, I contact Microsoft and make sure that it is not all parameters that might have missed.  There may be a problem with Excel that Microsoft is aware of and has a fix for.  Anyway, they would be the best people to ask about this problem.  Let me know what they say.
