f4580 margin problem

Hi all, I have just upgraded to windows 8 and now I have problems with my deskjet f4580...

the problem is he folds the too large margin on the bottom of the page [portrait] or on the side right [landscape] and he then disappeared off the coast of her relavent text or image when it prints.

up to now

I tried manually setting the margings in preview mode before printing, it allows me to doe but throw up then the printable area error message...

I tried to move the tabs of the margin on the document itself, but it still shows the missing text in the preview and when it prints

I tried to resave the document in format word 2013 [no compatibility mode]

I tried to uninstall and reinstall the printer [repeatedly]

I tried to update the drivers manually, automatically, and from the origianal drive

don't know what else to try... any ideas

you're a legend, all sorted thanks

  • Business cards printing Avery: «the WANDERING MARGIN PROBLEM-upper margin question»

    Does anyone have an idea if HP has an idea on how to charge someone to solve this problem of card perforated business stock do not print correctly?  This problem is now all over the internet.

    I intend to consumerist on-site validation in the hope that they would return to the problem.

    And look at all the other posts for business card printing problems that I looked into this forum and no there are no solutions.  And no huge thick shouldn't matter since everyone here has probably seen a HP catch upwards of more than 3 or more sheets of paper and print on the top, okay...

    I suffer from this PROBLEM of MARGIN WANDERING too.  I have

    have the printer of HP all-in-one Officejet Pro L7680, Windows XP, Office 2007, Microsoft Publisher, model Avery 8873.  I did everything correctly.  Always my business cards print perfectly on regular paper and they print directly from the upper part on the expensive card stock.  It's very frustrating.

    I tried the ideas here.  I tried thick paper, map of Photo greeting, best quality and normal quality.  I tried holding my finger on the map slightly as it feeds in.  I tried folding the sides of the card upward slightly.  I get a print one out of every five success.  I'm so freakin disappointed I could scream.  I've been laid off and I put in network and interviews to attend to and I need my business cards!

    Avery people are useless.  They wanted me to call Microsoft!  I kept saying 'Meg' alignment was very good for ordinary and incorrect paper with a stock of cards Avery.  I asked her if she knew thick HP for card stock printer settings.  She told me to call Microsoft.  I wonder if she was in fact an automaton that accepts no responsibility.

    I thought I bought the best brand printer.  I tried the Brother brand.  They are really lousy.  I really expect HP to be better.

    In the end, I got a few cards that are acceptable.  But I've lost 80%!  If you compare them they are not all aligned the same.  With capacities of shit like that I could just my printer scrap and the contract of employment at Office Depot.  Who needs this aggravation?

  • OfficeJet pro 8610: 8610 high / low margin problem

    Hi people,

    Hope you can help.  I am trying to print a multiple page in Word format document (Office 365).  When the document is printed, the top margin on the first page is too big and the bottom margin is too small (the margins are set to 1 inch up and down in MS Word).  On the second page, the problem is reversed; the top margin is too small and the bottom margin is too large.  He alternates on each page of the document.

    I use the duplexer to print double-sided.

    Hi - I appreciate your trying to help - I contacted HP support and it ends up being an installation problem - we uninstalled and reinstalled the printer and now it works perfectly

    Thanks again.

  • HP Photosmart Premium C410a: leading edge margin problem

    The leading edge of each document prints a quarter inch less margin than it should. Have tried many things without success. Apparently, something slipped a quarter inch into the additional paper tray, but I have no idea what. It's one great printer in all other respects.

    Hey @sandlapper,

    Thanks for posting in the HP Support Forum,

    I understand that you have a print quality problem when you use your HP Photosmart Premium Fax e-all-in-one printer - C410a.  I would like to work with you on this.  I have a few suggestions that may improve the quality of your print.

    I recommend you to make a copy of the front of the printer in order to isolate the issue further. If you have the same problem when copying, then likely the issue-oriented material.  If so, click here and try the solutions that apply to your installation.

    If your printer has a decent copy less error of margin is probably the printing problem you see is related software. In this case, try the following:

    1. Uninstall the printer - click here for instructions.
    2. Fix permissions of the disc on your Mac - click here for instructions.
    3. Once you have finished running the utility above, restart your computer.
    4. Finally, click here to reinstall your printer.

    Please let me know the result of your troubleshooting by responding to this post.  If I helped you to solve the problem, feel free to say "You rock!" by clicking the "Thumbs Up" icon below and by clicking to accept this solution.

    Thanks for posting in the Forum from HP Support.  Have a great day!

  • Margin problems?

    Hello

    I am creating a portfolio website and I'm having a few problems which is shown in the images below;

    This is the homepage of the site, take not the margin between the logo and the top of the window

    It is one of the sup pages, as you can see the margin between the logo and the top of the window is smaller than that of the home page

    The subpage has simply by saving the home page under a different name and removing items from the body needed. The two pages are entirely scrolled to the top

    The code below is for two separate pages;

    Ignore my last post, I've been distracted that you named a real

    'body '. Naming Convention is not good.

    Don't know why its happening because I didn't go into it too deeply but adding overflow: hidden; to the css 'wrapper' for the homepage to get rid of space, (see below in red below)

    {#wrapper}

    height: auto;

    Width: 800px;

    margin-right: auto;

    left margin: auto;

    left: auto;

    right: auto;

    overflow: hidden;

  • Print margin problem

    First of all, this is the first time that I post here and I thank you for your help

    .

    I'm on Mac OS x Snow Leopard and Acrobat 9 Pro.

    When I have a PDF without margin, if I print this document, I have the normal margin of the printer on 3 sides and on 1 I have a very large margin, 1 cm!

    It's a very big problem if I want to make a document duplex!

    It is not a problem of the printer, because I use a NRG MPC 2800 and I find the same problem on a black laser printer for desktop (brother).

    I think that there is a problem with Acrobat 9 and Snow Leopard. I found nothing on the Internet and I need a solution.

    If I print directly from InDesign, there is no problem. It is only with a pdf file.

    Please help me!

    After a trial, I see that if I print the pdf from a PC running Win XP, there is no problem. It is only with the Mac.

    Thank you for your help.

    Go to the website of the printer and download the latest driver for your printer follow these steps:

    1. After downlaod new file Installer driver
    2. go to Printer Utility or Pinter preferences system and Fax Control Panel.
    3. Remove your printer from the list.
    4. Open Driver Install and install.
    5. Restart the computer.
    6. Open the Printer Utility Panel or printer & Fax control this time, locate your printer (it picks up the new printer driver file)
    7. Open Acrobat and choose the new printer driver.

    then a test Page and see what happens.

    hoping to hear from you.

  • Printing without margins problem

    Windows XP Pro, Indesign CS3, HP Deskjet Pro K8600 printer. I am trying to print a document without borders. Printer has the function without border. I can't get the Center document. A white quarter inch border appears on the right side of the document and a half inch border appears on the bottom. . Here are the settings I use in the configuration of the printer: paper size "8.5X11 borderless." Position of the page "centered"; also tried to position of the Page "top left"; Printing shortcuts "printing without margins"; Under the appearance tab "8.5X1 without borders" tab, "Print actual size' and check 'Bordrless '. Document will print without borders and centered in the HP Photosmart application but not in Indesign so I don't think that it is a printer problem.

    It's the top item on the Format of the paper-drop menu...

  • CSS: Positioned Parent column margin problem

    This should a simple for someone with experience of painting without CSS. I am trying to imitate a glance I saw in a very simple and easy test case. I don't understand why the median column body sit evenly between the two adjacent columns of navigation on both sides? It currenlty placed much too high. If I hand enter 20 px for a top margin, it does not work either. Since it is relative, should not it pick up as the navright? Thanks for your help. Chris

    Probably more easy just to cut and paste this in Dreamweaver:

    Thanks for the information on the different types. The examples have been useful.

    The answer to the problem is that I had to do the body margin 0px and the content margin top 20px. This solves the problem.

  • Vertical margin problem

    My HP 7520 does not print the last line of a PDF document. I can't find a setting to move the page upwards or downwards or change the top and bottom margin. It happens on the second page when you print 2 sides. What can I do to get proper nutrition of my document?

    I sent 2 messages to HP while under warranty, received no response, now am not under warranty and cannot send them again, as if it would do any good.

    Geoff

    It's the nature of printing 2 faces (automatic).  There are two simple solutions:

    1. do not use printing 2-sided automatic (use 2 sheets or a print Manual 2-sided).

    2. When you start a print job with command-P (or file > print), choose "Fit to page".

    margin left:-200px;

    height: 750px;

    top of the margin: 33px;

    margin-bottom: 3px;

    padding-left: 5px;

    }

    I would not advise using height, let simply content finds its own height.

  • DeskJet F4580 wireless problems

    I'm unable to connect the printer to my PC. The error message reads:

    Your computer is unable to communicate with your printer at 192.168.1.64. This can be caused by firewall software. Check that the ODP 147 port is unlocked in and out of traffic.

    I have no idea what to do next! Any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you.

    First of all, I would recommend trying utility hospitality of Diagnostic network available at this link:

    So, let us know how it worked and we'll go from there.

  • OfficeJet 7612: Margins printer Officejet 7612

    I have purposely left for info OS 'unknown', because I have this same question if I use my Mac, my Windows machines, or simply walk over to the machine and copy something.

    The minimum margins announced for this printer are something like 1/8 "without going without borders.  No matter what I print, I get approximately 5/8 "high and low and 1/2" on the sides.  I have this same problem when copying, that is simply built into the machine - no computer involved.  If I try to copy both side on a single sheet of double-sided sheets, it crops out of the margins to adapt to these ridiculously high default settings.

    I searched through the forums and found many others have this problem.  The son always look like this:

    Q: I have a problem with my margins.

    A: go to the tab 'Advanced' in the printer driver, then select "Minimize margins".

    Q: How do I do that?  I can't find this option anywhere...

    A:

    Q: Hello?  I still need an answer...

    A:

    Does anyone actually have a solution to this?  Or is HP just to admit that their big, fancy, expensive printer large format is just a big pile of uselessness of big margin?

    UPDATE:

    To try to solve this problem, HP went up to sell me a replacement printer reduced at a reduced price, even if mine was out of warranty. Their thinking was that I had a defective hardware. Unfortunately, new printer = identical questions.

    In the end, they admitted that margin problems are directly related to the duplex unit. Their duplexer requires, apparently, a LOT of paper to hang on to MUCH - in my opinion, possibly a lot and a half. I studied other brands and found that most of them have this same problem.

    Most of them...

    I finally found that printer large format of brother did a duplexer that keeps the small margin when you work 2 faces. So, I own one of these now - works great.

    I have been a fervent and loyal HP - ite for literally decades. It saddens me that they let slip until the brother surpassed them - but that's what I found. I hope that HP will turn around and stop to accept half-solutions such as 'negotiable' - but in the meantime, the only way to solve my problem was to jump brands...

  • Problems printing forms of websites - no error message

    My HP Deskjet D1460 has suddenly developed a strange anomaly: when I try to print forms or documents to Web sites, printed text is too much, the left margin is huge, and therefore the right and lower part of the text falls clean off the page. No error message appears. It's as if the printer is magnifying the text on the page and the margins of 200%.

    I checked all the settings (fit to page and so on)-everything seems ok.

    I ran printing HP and doctor Scan and it says everything is working normally.

    A test page printed fine and I can print images or text to my files without a problem. I tried to put off the printer and turn it back on, then tried a text page of a Web site, but the "expansion text" and the enormous left margin problems persist. This applies to any web document of origin.

    Thanks - I should say that I use Firefox.

    When printing a Web site (I tried again), I am struck an icon 'printer' on the site itself, which does not offer a preview option, so what you suggest does not apply.

    Hello

    The following images show the real Firefox (as mentioned in my previous answer)

    Kind regards.
