Vertical margin problem

My HP 7520 does not print the last line of a PDF document. I can't find a setting to move the page upwards or downwards or change the top and bottom margin. It happens on the second page when you print 2 sides. What can I do to get proper nutrition of my document?

I sent 2 messages to HP while under warranty, received no response, now am not under warranty and cannot send them again, as if it would do any good.

Geoff

It's the nature of printing 2 faces (automatic).  There are two simple solutions:

1. do not use printing 2-sided automatic (use 2 sheets or a print Manual 2-sided).

2. When you start a print job with command-P (or file > print), choose "Fit to page".

  • Business cards printing Avery: «the WANDERING MARGIN PROBLEM-upper margin question»

    Does anyone have an idea if HP has an idea on how to charge someone to solve this problem of card perforated business stock do not print correctly?  This problem is now all over the internet.

    I intend to consumerist on-site validation in the hope that they would return to the problem.

    And look at all the other posts for business card printing problems that I looked into this forum and no there are no solutions.  And no huge thick shouldn't matter since everyone here has probably seen a HP catch upwards of more than 3 or more sheets of paper and print on the top, okay...

    I suffer from this PROBLEM of MARGIN WANDERING too.  I have

    have the printer of HP all-in-one Officejet Pro L7680, Windows XP, Office 2007, Microsoft Publisher, model Avery 8873.  I did everything correctly.  Always my business cards print perfectly on regular paper and they print directly from the upper part on the expensive card stock.  It's very frustrating.

    I tried the ideas here.  I tried thick paper, map of Photo greeting, best quality and normal quality.  I tried holding my finger on the map slightly as it feeds in.  I tried folding the sides of the card upward slightly.  I get a print one out of every five success.  I'm so freakin disappointed I could scream.  I've been laid off and I put in network and interviews to attend to and I need my business cards!

    Avery people are useless.  They wanted me to call Microsoft!  I kept saying 'Meg' alignment was very good for ordinary and incorrect paper with a stock of cards Avery.  I asked her if she knew thick HP for card stock printer settings.  She told me to call Microsoft.  I wonder if she was in fact an automaton that accepts no responsibility.

    I thought I bought the best brand printer.  I tried the Brother brand.  They are really lousy.  I really expect HP to be better.

    In the end, I got a few cards that are acceptable.  But I've lost 80%!  If you compare them they are not all aligned the same.  With capacities of shit like that I could just my printer scrap and the contract of employment at Office Depot.  Who needs this aggravation?

  • OfficeJet pro 8610: 8610 high / low margin problem

    Hi people,

    Hope you can help.  I am trying to print a multiple page in Word format document (Office 365).  When the document is printed, the top margin on the first page is too big and the bottom margin is too small (the margins are set to 1 inch up and down in MS Word).  On the second page, the problem is reversed; the top margin is too small and the bottom margin is too large.  He alternates on each page of the document.

    I use the duplexer to print double-sided.

    Hi - I appreciate your trying to help - I contacted HP support and it ends up being an installation problem - we uninstalled and reinstalled the printer and now it works perfectly

    Thanks again.

  • HP Photosmart Premium C410a: leading edge margin problem

    The leading edge of each document prints a quarter inch less margin than it should. Have tried many things without success. Apparently, something slipped a quarter inch into the additional paper tray, but I have no idea what. It's one great printer in all other respects.

    Hey @sandlapper,

    Thanks for posting in the HP Support Forum,

    I understand that you have a print quality problem when you use your HP Photosmart Premium Fax e-all-in-one printer - C410a.  I would like to work with you on this.  I have a few suggestions that may improve the quality of your print.

    I recommend you to make a copy of the front of the printer in order to isolate the issue further. If you have the same problem when copying, then likely the issue-oriented material.  If so, click here and try the solutions that apply to your installation.

    If your printer has a decent copy less error of margin is probably the printing problem you see is related software. In this case, try the following:

    1. Uninstall the printer - click here for instructions.
    2. Fix permissions of the disc on your Mac - click here for instructions.
    3. Once you have finished running the utility above, restart your computer.
    4. Finally, click here to reinstall your printer.

    Please let me know the result of your troubleshooting by responding to this post.  If I helped you to solve the problem, feel free to say "You rock!" by clicking the "Thumbs Up" icon below and by clicking to accept this solution.

    Thanks for posting in the Forum from HP Support.  Have a great day!

  • Vertical alignment problems HP Photosmart D110a on A5 paper

    Hello, I would like to know if someone could help me with this question:

    I have problems of vertical alignment to print on A5 paper on the photosmart d110a.

    Printing of text will leave 10 cm from edge of paper even though I have no room to set up.

    I use Mac OS X 10.8.3 on a Mac Book Pro with the retina display.

    Clues?

    Thank you very much!

    Leandro

    I recommend you to install the driver of HP, if available for your version of Mac OS X. You will need to install the driver of AirPrint and sometimes the HP driver work better than AirPrint.

    Hi all, I have just upgraded to windows 8 and now I have problems with my deskjet f4580...

    the problem is he folds the too large margin on the bottom of the page [portrait] or on the side right [landscape] and he then disappeared off the coast of her relavent text or image when it prints.

    I tried manually setting the margings in preview mode before printing, it allows me to doe but throw up then the printable area error message...

    I tried to move the tabs of the margin on the document itself, but it still shows the missing text in the preview and when it prints

    I tried to resave the document in format word 2013 [no compatibility mode]

    I tried to uninstall and reinstall the printer [repeatedly]

    I tried to update the drivers manually, automatically, and from the origianal drive

    Hello

    I am creating a portfolio website and I'm having a few problems which is shown in the images below;

    This is the homepage of the site, take not the margin between the logo and the top of the window

    It is one of the sup pages, as you can see the margin between the logo and the top of the window is smaller than that of the home page

    The subpage has simply by saving the home page under a different name and removing items from the body needed. The two pages are entirely scrolled to the top

    Ignore my last post, I've been distracted that you named a real

    'body '. Naming Convention is not good.

    Don't know why its happening because I didn't go into it too deeply but adding overflow: hidden; to the css 'wrapper' for the homepage to get rid of space, (see below in red below)

    {#wrapper}

    height: auto;

    Width: 800px;

    margin-right: auto;

    left margin: auto;

    left: auto;

    right: auto;

    overflow: hidden;

    Look at the bottom of the laptop or inside the Bay of battery for a model number. Your synaptics driver is installed. I can tell by the red icon on the properties of the mouse. You may need a driver update. Your driver is since May 2010. Windows 7? 64 bit?

    Here's a new much driver synaptics:

  • Behavior of vertical menu problem

    I'm having a problem with the vertical menu widget. The problem appears in ios6 but not in Chrome or IE 8, etc. 9. I don't have Mac or Firefox. The menu item at the top opens a new page.  On ios6 the top menu item will not open the target page, rather stay on the current page. If I hold the menu item, the ios6 dialog box opens asking if I want to open the item in a new tab, if I select the new tab opens to the right page. All other menu items work as expected. Please visit the following links in order to observe the behavior.

    http://ldpinc.BusinessCatalyst.com/services.html "Structural design" should open the page of 'work '.

    http://ldpinc.BusinessCatalyst.com/work.html 'Perfume' should open the page "perfume".

    These pages are not yet gone live. Everything works fine in Internet Explorer and Chrome. I love Muse.

    Thanks for the help,

    Dan

    Hi Dan,.

    Thanks for letting us know about this. The problem seems to be that the first item in menu at one point seems to have had a submenu, and Muse consider always for that, even if it has been deleted. This can happen when you were first of all the menu or at some point in the process you may click on to add a submenu by accident or something. Workaround to solve the problem at the moment is too add an another top level item to your menu (after which you can remove this item). We will work on getting this fixed number for a future version, so this does not happen to you.

    Thanks again,

    Andrew

    I'm working on a site. I have a floating horizontal list of items at the top of the header. It looks fine in Firefox and Safari but in IE 8, it forces the last element on a second line. I'm on Mac OS x Snow Leopard and Acrobat 9 Pro.

    When I have a PDF without margin, if I print this document, I have the normal margin of the printer on 3 sides and on 1 I have a very large margin, 1 cm!

    It's a very big problem if I want to make a document duplex!

    It is not a problem of the printer, because I use a NRG MPC 2800 and I find the same problem on a black laser printer for desktop (brother).

    I think that there is a problem with Acrobat 9 and Snow Leopard. I found nothing on the Internet and I need a solution.

    If I print directly from InDesign, there is no problem. It is only with a pdf file.

    Please help me!

    After a trial, I see that if I print the pdf from a PC running Win XP, there is no problem. It is only with the Mac.

    Thank you for your help.

    Go to the website of the printer and download the latest driver for your printer follow these steps:

    1. After downlaod new file Installer driver
    2. go to Printer Utility or Pinter preferences system and Fax Control Panel.
    3. Remove your printer from the list.
    4. Open Driver Install and install.
    5. Restart the computer.
    6. Open the Printer Utility Panel or printer & Fax control this time, locate your printer (it picks up the new printer driver file)
    7. Open Acrobat and choose the new printer driver.

    then a test Page and see what happens.
