• Facebook messenger does not connect since the update

  I had problems with OS X Messenger connection to Facebook Jabber service since the last update.  IS this a known problem, or am I an isolated case?  I rebuilt my Mac from a new installation of El Cap recently, and the Messages app worked very well.  He works closely with iMessage OK, but I don't have another FB account check with.  I have reset my password to Jabber on the side FB and made sure that it was right on the Mac as well.

  Any help on troubleshooting would be welcome.

  I can´t receive push with my application. I don't have plan data and from what I've seen in all the forums may not receive push. But why Blackberry Messenger, whatsapp, facebook works?

  Push will work on all devices, Wifi, but for OS 7.1 you need a BlackBerry service with your carrier plan. Having this plan will push down the necessary maintenance book data so that your device can connect to the infrastructure of the Push. Similarly, social media like BBM on BBOS 7 services also use the service book for the data connection. They may work on wifi, once you have the data in the maintenance book.   BlackBerry 10 has a completely different architecture without any idea of a maintenance book. Push and BBM will work over WiFi without special plans.

  I implemented the Facebook publishing service in Lightroom CC and I ticked the box in Lightroom release manager to add a watermark to all my images, but the pictures have been published without watermark. It is not a showing on photos in Lightroom either. Why is it not appear? I tried different watermarks Assembly and use, including the right to author 'simple' one, but is simply not happening. Help?

  You can edit for only your timeline using the Facebook Plugin.

• HP Pav TS AIO: The video have sound but the picture is black or green

  When you try to view videos FB, I can hear the sound but can't see a black or green screen.  I have usually no trouble watching youtube videos.  I called HP about this issue a couple of months, but the fix was temporary, and I don't really remember what they were doing.  I am not very computer, in order to obtain a detailed help is very appreciated.  I called HP again today, but has not had time to be waiting for an hour, so I hung up.  I know that I might have to call back them at some point, but thought I would try this before you do.  Thanks a lot for all the help in advance...

  Jeni4, welcome to the forum.

  The first thing I would try is updated Adobe Flash Player.  An outdated version can cause these symptoms.  If this does not work, I suggest to contact Facebook customer service for assistance.  I don't think it's a hardware problem.  They know best their program and should be able to help.

  Here's my sad story so far:

  1. I have installed facebook but deselected all blackberry connectivity - I just want to post my BB.

  2. my device duplicated my entire calendar (300 + entries) as another calendar: "send: facebook»

  3. I have apply the tips of ViciousFerret top and delete Facebook CICAL. Return duplicate entries of "send: facebook ' to ' send: by default.

  4. the next synchronization, device adds 300 + entries to my outlook calendar - entries that were "send: facebook»

  5. the next time you synchronize, my calendar of the unit returned to "send: facebook ' and synchronization strives to fill 600 + new entries (my original calendar more duplicates created by deleting Facebook CICAL.

  Help! Help! I'm caught in a hellish loop!

  So now, I remove the entry from 'Facebook' [CICAL] service books each time before I synchronize my device. When syncing all recurring entries come as conflicts (I select the computer version for all) and the synchronization ends with "sync error".

  The first problem is that something is automatically re-spawning the entry 'Facebook [CICAL]' in the directories of my device. I hope that if that is resolved the synchronization errors will also disappear...

  It has been ongoing for over a week now: Please help!

  Problem solved by:

  1. Delete Facebook [CICAL] in Options > device > advanced > maintenance book
  2. Synchronization with the desktop computer
  3. Full power off the device and do a battery pull

• Cannot access Twitter using applications from Surfact RT

  I had a few third-party apps for twitter, which worked fine until a month ago.  Now, none of them can connect to Twitter.  I get messages like can not connect to the services, or cannot connect at this time, try again later, etc. Details:

  • I have many other applications that connect to various services, facebook, news services, amazon, etc.  They work very well.
  • Here are the apps approved twitter
  • I can connect to twitter using the Explorer, no problem
  • I can connect to twitter using the application of the 'people' RT, works very well
  • I checked my twitter settings and everything seems standard.
  • I tried to install the and reinstall all these twitter applications, did not help.
  • I tried to install the new twitter app I had not before, same problem
  • I tried inactivating apps on twitter, and then reactivate.
  • I don't think it's a twitter questions because if I install a new twitter app and tried to sign, same problem.  At that stage twitter would not even know who I was, while twitter does not block me based on my account or something.  I'm sure its something in the CR
  • I even tried to "refreshing" my surface.
  • I tried MetroTwit, Cowlicki, Rowi and other apps, same problem.

  Yet once, just fine, except the based third party twitter apps.

  Any suggestion would be appreciated

  If you follow the instructions in this link, then no, you won't have to reconfigure something.  You just transfer all your settings and presets to the new computer and continue as you left it.

  Some people recommend using the menu file > export as catalog to transfer to a new computer, that works okish unless you use things like Flickr or Facebook Publishing Services.

  Thanks for the update, I would like to ask you to please uninstall and reinstall Lightroom once and please make sure Lightroom is updated in Lightroom 2015.5.

  We have a restriction in our Organization in the world of the app, and we make a point of Contact for Facebook and Twitter applications. We want to allow users to download/access some applications only.

  We plan to publish this on the combined user thorugh BES. Can someone tell me where can I get the Installer (alx and COD) for Facebook and Twitter. Also, is it safe to use these files in the installation of the company, I want to say there is no problem right?

  Hi Ashish,

  Glad to hear that you have consulted with your BES administrator. Have you tried to ask the BES Admin giving you temporary credentials to get the files you need.

  If this is not possible, continue and then talk with your BES administrator to find the files for your POC on Facebook and Twitter. Please follow the steps as your Admin BES asks you to do (if given by Admin).
