Any ideas please?

Hello

It can sometimes help to erase the whole HARD drive before reinstalling the operating system.

Download and install Killdisk on the link below.

http://Software.LSoft.net/KillDiskSuiteFree-Setup.exe

Download and install ImgBurn on the link below.

http://download.CNET.com/ImgBurn/3000-2646_4-10847481.html

Access the application of disc kill you have installed in all programs, open the main folder, then select Bootable Disk creators, then the BACK Bootable CD Creator that will burn the ISO on a blank CD bootable.

During the following process do not worry about all warnings as your recovery DVDs will reformat the HARD drive.

Insert this CD into the laptop it's impossible to load Windows 7 correctly. Close Notepad, and then start again to boot from the CD of Killdisk and follow the instructions on the screen to kill disk.

A brief description of the process here is Killdisk.

Use it to wipe the entire hard drive (f10) - ( make sure to include all partitions and then start the process - this may take a few hours!).  When the process is complete, remove the disk, insert your first recovery disk and restart your computer to install Windows 7 again.

Kind regards

  • TouchSmart tx2-1370us Recovery Disc Set failure

I am writing on behalf of my sister.  Here is his story:

Screen of her laptop TouchSmart tx2-1370us broke earlier.  It's under warranty where she bought in so he was expelled to be repaired.  When he returned, the screen has been set, but there was a note indicating that they had lost its Windows 7.  The computer loaded and executed perfectly, but it was the pop-up "is not a genuine copy of windows.  She claims that she was unable to read the sticker product key the computer good enough to get it to accept anything, she entered.  When she called the store, they said that HP would be able to help get it back.  HP sold its recovery disks which were to restore the computer.  It is a 3 disc set, marked 2 System Recovery DVD Windows 7 Home Premium and 1 additional CD labeled Application & Driver recovery CD.  CDs ran several times still to come as fruitless after the first 2 CDs.  I won't get in his experience of the customer support, but she claims that she spoke on the phone with HP 6 times in the course of a week and nothing they had to say or to offer.  Always unsuccessful recovery message.  She abandoned, almost crying at this time, and I said I'll try.

After a bit of searching I found a patch on the HP website that would supposedly solve the problem of recovery disks.  The patch was properly installed, green checkmark and all, and all 3 CDs was successfully.  The computer restarts, the screen of the Installation of the HP software ran for a while before another restart then the usual recovery failure message.  I tried many times with the same result every time.  I saved the newspaper from the last go to it and post it below.  It seems the States BIOS Vista as OS, but she bought the computer pre-loaded with Windows 7.  Could there be something in that fact cause a problem?

Someone suggested to reset the BIOS to factory default, but that didn't work either.

When you save the log to USB, I could see all of the files, there are 3 readers listed SDV (C Local disk (D & BOOT (X))

For any help or suggestion would be appreciated.

    Lets take a chance it's for W7

Go here and download the correct version of W7 (home or pro, they have not a starter edition), version 32 or 64 bit and the language, it's going to be a file iso very large, once downloaded, burn it to a blank disc DVD + R as an Image, this can be done on a Windows 7 PC, right-click on the iso file and select 'Open with' > 'windows disc image burner.

    http://www.mydigitallife.info/official-Windows-7-SP1-ISO-from-Digital-River/

This will make a regular windows 7 installation disc allows you to get Windows installed, use the key to see if it will be ignited.

Then, you will need to download the drivers for your specific model on the HP site and install it.

  • Manager of recovery, recovery of factory default setting will replace all deletions that I had bad sector?

Hello, I am curious of recovery manager and what he does.

recently, I had my old hdd removed due to the increase of bad sectors. I tried using the recovery dvd system I orderd from hp website, but it does not work on my new hard drive, so I had to clone my old hdd to use. while I was with the old hdd I had to run chkdsk a lot and I've seen little of window/systm /... listed as problem and it was removed (?).

I want to assure you that my new hard drive has no problem after recovering to the factory setting. (I chkdsk raned before I clone my old hdd)

Recovery Manager replace all of these bad sector remove I saw on chkdsk?

    @Forblindmice ,

Hello and thanks for the display on the HP support forums.  The recovery will not recover the lost areas.  All the data that has been lost are lost unless you run with some special type of recovery software, and is not always a win.

Once you have a bad sectors unless you use a type of equipment at low level software format to remap sectors that they will always be there.

What I would do is pull the drive and put it in another computer and get all your data off it.

Once you get what you can out of the drive, then you can see if there is software out there to low level format and then try to get HP support by phone recovery media to reload your operating system.

I would consider replacing the drive so.  If you start getting bad sectors, it is usually mechanical and will result in a total crash some time soon.

  • The factory restore setting once it has been formatted

    Hello

I had my HP Probook s 4530. It reinstalled and formatted by mistake. Now, I couldn't see the HP and HP tools recovery partitions while windows, connect. But when I try to reinstall Win 7 with a bootable DVD, it shows the mentioned hidden partitions. I tried to press fn + F11 buttons in the boot process, but nothing happened.

Question is: How can I restore to the factory using the HP Recovery and HP partitions tools setting?

Any help would be much appreciated.

    BRGDS,

I'm sorry, you know to be able to recovery your probook, you have 3 ways
    1. use the recovery partition "you said that it's empty now."
2 - using recovery discs "DVD I think that you do not have it also.
3 - using usb flash recovery "and I think that you do not have too.

so, how can restore you without recovering files

If you get these files from recovery to restore it

you have 4 ways to him and get these files

    1. you can see if you have a friend or a friend of your friend, has the same probook you have
and then, you can borrow his dvds or you can copy the recovery partition,

2 - you can go to any store that sell the same probook you have and ask him to copy this recovery partition and give him money

    3. you can order website hp recovery discs if you are from the U.S. and pay for it

4 - ask on the internet if someone can help you publish these files for recovery and so I think that there is any body upload 16 GB for you

I think these are all ways that you can get your recovered files
you all just need becomes this recovery files somehow and then it will be easy to restor it

If you do not have to use any of these ways
so you have the last option
You can download the same operating system that you had when you bought your probook, then install it using the serial number that you like sticker on the back of your probook and then download all the drivers and software from the hp Web site

That's all I know, but this is my first time to see a formatted partition is 100% free, there must be a few bytes for the system volume, try changing their letters to disk mangement right-click then choose change drive letter then add and then give each of them a letter as 'e '. ", h, I"
and you will find appear them in your windows, but I don't know how it's going to be a 100% free

    That's all

  • DV7-7240US: HP Recovery - cannot reset to the original factory HP setting

Recently, my original Windows 8 has been updated to a new version of Windows 8.1. It was an automatic update of my laptop, I didn't. The next day, I discovered that the system was very slow and freezes in some places. I can not even restart or shut down the computer. It forced me to press and hold the power button to stop and restart the machine. It took some time for my machine load and start the window; Sometimes, it took about 30-40 minutes. This incident has happened very frequently, I have to turn the machine on too often. Now, I got the message when he was loading: diagnostic Systems, error disc, press the auto repair. "Then he started scanning it says on the screen: ' disk scanning error. This process may take longer than an hour. "He was allowed to return to 8.1 Windows for the first time. Then, the windows was frozen again. I forced to turn off and turn on the machine too many times, this machine was hooked during the scan disk error. He showed the scanning process 0% throughout the night I left the machine. I can't load the window again. Therefore, I have to go to the F11-system setting, keyboard language was loaded on the screen. Then I chose us. The next screen, I clicked on troubleshooting, HP Recovery, restore the system. It did not work. Then, I selected Reset to the original factory setting. He asked to make a backup of the file. I chose the automatic backup of the file, and then move forward. The backup process has crossed at 63%, then the pop-up error: error ffffffff15, data code = 6. I tried to go back and backup file again, it gave me the same error. Then, I tried to reset the system to the initial factory setting without saving the file. I clicked on the warning message about all of the hard drive will remove if I proceed. Then I got an error and can not proceed with other measures. I then tried to reset the systems with USB I created HP Recovery Manager after buying the machine. "When I tried to restore the initial factory setting, it gave me an error message:" the target drive is not connected. "I don't know what to do now. I guess, I need HP Recovery DVD or HP's USB flash drive in order to restore the factory setting of windows 8. I don't have the recovery disk when I bought my HP laptop. I even created one with USB, copy of the record of HP recovery support, but it still doesn't work. Help, please! It's really frustrating.

Yes, you got the error code indicates a bad hard drive.

  • Satellite P300-1 has 8 can't get recovery plant to work

    Hello

Had many problems on this machine. It started with a nearly full C: partition which has Vista to invoke a disk compression.

After that the laptop boot; After the POST, there's just a blank screen (no blinking cursor). Water from the tap "F8" solution of the manual would not work.

Without boot system, I tried to use a Vista recovery CD. But it would not even start, even after setting the BIOS to boot from CD first, or even using F12 boot selection screen.

I had to physically remove the hard drive from the laptop to get the boot CD. But obviously could not do much after that thing. At this point I think that the hard disk compression utility had corrupted boot sector.

So I plugged the hard drive of a PC desktop, saved all the 3 partitions (1 hidden more 'Vista' C: and D: that holds files HDDRecovery)

I tried formatting and disk and present the scores. This is the point I have problems with that.

I used Boot us software to make the first hidden partition which is what it was. Hidden. In addition, let him without assign a drive letter.

On the second partition I used windows backup to restore the C: drive, this software does not restore all the files the way he left the most important such as Winload.exe, that is why I had to do a factory restore.

On the third partition, I restored the folder "HDDRecovery".

Now, after you change the BCD file, I was able to get into the recovery environment Toshiba from a bootable CD that I created from the hidden partition.

The problem I am having now is this resumption of the factory is a failure because it can't find files HDDRecovery, error, it turns out is:-'the operating system recovery is impossible! Not found the HDD Recovery folder on the second disc of the first hard drive. There is no valid disk HARD recovery environment on this computer.

I assume by "second disc", they hear second partition. Because when I did a test with a different partition scheme, leaving aside those hidden and have just the c: "Vista" partition and D: "HDDRecovery" partition, I managed to get past this error. But was then stopped by a cheque of Diskpart that looked like for 3 partitions. I added a third partition to see to who would do and completed Diskpart is check selected the second partition and deleted! Note that the score had HDDRecovery files on it.

I hope I explained it well enough, my apologies for the length of the post.

In short, I would like to get the recovery environment factory to work because the changes to the hard drive partitions.

    Hi, mate

Unfortunately, I don't think you can get factory settings with same folder of hard disk recovery. I had the same situation as you. I wanted to install Windows Xp on my A500 and did not have a recovery disk. So the missing factory settings and no recovery disk was available. I didn't pay a price for a recovery disc. I just got the disc to copy windows 7 installed with all drivers and applications that I need. Then do a hard disk image of my current operating system with acronis true image, created a recovery area and that's it. Now, if I want to restore the Os, I just press f11 at startup, enter acronis and it restores from disk image. Need me 10 minutes of waiting...

At the moment, I can't help cos I n t have laptop with me.
I m sure that when I received the box with laptop was originally pack, and I put t 100% think that a certain shop touched the computer and the configuration password.

Is it possible that someone in the factory could do something? Or the bios is failure

    See you soon
    Darek

    Hello

Sorry, but I don't believe that a person of the factory has set the BIOS password.
In addition the BIOS update will NOT delete the BISO password!

Please Note: before you start the update of the BIOS to remove all passwords!
Please first read the document about how to update the BIOS before you start the upgrade.
The incorrect procedure may damage the motherboard!

In addition if you n t the BIOS password you will need to contact Toshiba service partner in your country. There is no other possibility to remove the BIOS password.

  • IPhone 5 s often crashes after updating ios 10.0.2

Hello to everyone. After a few minutes the show blue screen phone and it restarts. I did a factory reset and then I put the phone as a new iphone, but the problem is still not resolved.

I'm having this problem yesterday, after the last update: ios 10.0.2.

I don't know what to do. The phone is out of warranty.

    Thank you.

A factory reset, are you saying that you restored the unit to the factory? There is no factory setting. Configure you it as news, but what kind of content you add to the device? You have not used your backup at all? If you restored to the factory and set up the device as new and do not add any content or use your backup and are still faced with a problem, then you must make an appointment at the Genius Bar to the nearest Apple store to have the material examined.

  • 10 IOS extreme battery drain

    Hello

I need your help to solve my problem of battery.

The first thing you need to know, I was using the beta software to IOS 10 before. After a beta update to my iPhone (2 years old 5s without any problems before) started very quick battery drainage.

Now I use IOS 10.01, but nothing has changed.

To use menu, I don't see what app is drain my battery. What I see is only a maximum of 9 hours standby time with a couple hours of use.

The problem is that my iPhone keeps dripping every time. At first, I saw the problem, I fall aslepp with 100% and woke up to need recharge my iPhone because it is drained in the night (in airplane mode). Since I'm going to turn off my phone for nightly keep the charged battery. For a month, I need to load every day three times with normal use. Before that the problem, he worked for two days on a charge.

Apple support ran diagnostics on it and says that everything is ok with the material. The ability of my battery is always as good as it was before the problem. (96% wear level)

The thing that I tried to solve the problem:

    -force to restart the iPhone

    -Disable location services

    -Turn off Siri

    -Disable background refresh

    -Disable touch ID

    -disconnect from the iCloud

    -restore the iPhone

    -delete all settings and data

-turn off the cell phones, wifi, and bluetooth

    -launch applications from the factory

-set my iPhone as a new (with signed to iCloud, but do not restore from backup)

And I'm not the only one. My brother 6 IPhone is having the same problem after another beta update.

And extra if I force the reboot of my iPhone after a few seconds the screen turning blue.

IF you have any REAL solution, or things that I have not yet tried, please write below.

And the iPhone overheated in standby mode...
