my battery iPhone 5 c descends in a half day, and even after changing to a new battery, it's the same.

I can reset the phone to iTunes to make better it.  It is saved.

Connect the phone to iTunes and restore iOS this will fix more unusual battery drain issues if it is not difficulty better to replace a new battery genuine

  • How to factory reset iPad without ITunes?

Recently, (today), I've updated to latest iOS for my iPad Air. While making a password, I wrote very fast because I have would be turned off. My mother called me for breakfast, so I left it there.

Just before going to the school, I noticed it turned off and now have to enter a password. I tried until I disabled, and I kept trying and waiting time until what I looked up what to do. I tried to go to recovery mode using iTunes on my laptop (Yes, I plugged my camera), but he continues to have an error. I did it just once and he said she needed a response from my iPad itself.

So, I would like to know how to factory reset my iPad without iTunes if it is still possible. I saw 10 + forums and websites but none were easy and confuse me a ton.

  • I took the SIM card of my 5s and put it in my 6 s and used an iTunes backup. If I have my 5 s factory reset it will do the same to my 6s?

So I got an iPhone 5S for about two years. I wanted to update so I got the iPhone 6s for Christmas. The Christmas day, after two hours of poor internet connection, have to update iTunes and having my iCloud backups do not work because they were on iOS 9.2 and iPhone 6s, I am on iOS 9.1, I started the 6s upward as new and updated updated to iOS 9.2. * After that, I took my nano off the old 5s iPhone sim card and put it in the iPhone 6 s, then I used the iTunes backup.*

After all this was done I was enjoying the hell out of my new phone and all its features fantasies and what not. But I had a thought, now that I got a new phone I could use my old 5s as more than a games/iPod phone.

    So my question is this:

If I factory reset my iPhone 5 s and wipe your own will, which are the same in my iPhone 6 s even though they are both still connected? (what I mean is, for example, if I changed/added a note to my 6 sec it would seem on my 5 institutions). My concern is that I always use the same sim card that was in my iPhone 5 s. I do not want to reset the 5 s and then have it do the same thing on my new 6 s.

Or can I go to manage the devices on my Apple ID and take the 5 s out of it, then factory reset 5s.

No, the deletion of your old phone will have no effect on your new phone.

  • Factory reset and wiping Cache

    Hi all

Several times on the net, we heard that, the way we are going to pass to the lollipop while doing a major OS, upgrade, it is recommended to do Factory Reset and wiping Cache.

That wiping cache is concerned, it of nothing, but formatting for the cache, they average in the swap partition linux is formatted. But what is the technical reason to do a Factory Reset? It's a real pain to reconfigure all the stuff after factory reset.

Anyone can throw some light on this?

    Concerning

    Sébastien

There is no official reason - but my reason is because of my experience. Years as a system administrator, put computers in Windows for Workgroups, Windows NT level would still be some issues. The same model machine with clean installs of the software even played very well. After some tests, I was convinced that upgrades on the spot can cause problems. I don't even do on-site on OS X upgrades - they have issues like Windows.

I noticed the same behavior with improvements in phone (Android, Apple, WinMo) - some applications does not work, the battery life is poor, etc. An upgrade to the Atrix HD and I was missing the options menu for SmartActions - until I did a reset, certain features of this application has been completely absent - it was an integrated application of motorcycle, and nothing else has worked.

If you want only some technical reasons for why this happens - there may be several:

    • can install applications with different parameters depending on the operating system - unless you uninstall and reinstall applications after the upgrade, none will have the settings that correspond to the BONE

    • The OS settings which are carried over after an upgrade, which may not be suitable

    • Operating system for the new operating system that is not set, because of legacy apps being present

    • Upgrading test - it is not possible to test with all the combinations of installed applications

Since there is currently no upgrade E published, he does not worry about now. But when the time comes, do the upgrade and see how your phone works. If it works OK then go to reset. Personally, I do the reset and only re-install the apps that I use. It is a good time for me to dump a bunch of junk.

  • How to Factory Reset a system Win 8 since a Win 7 OS?

If a church sister of mine, gave me his Dell Inspirion 3520 (Windows 8) to the difficulty. There was a windows update on which would not be completed, no matter how many times she has restarted. I managed to fix it and he crossed, showing the percentage to complete and it's usual reboot to complete. But after 20 minutes in the update, he said he was installing Windows 7! o.O

After this "update", what remained was a clean install of Windows 7 Pro. It "seemed" she rolled back to Windows 7, because I can see the previous operating system in a Windows.old folder. But how a Windows 8 system back to Windows 7?

in any case, I'm trying this system of factory reset so she can retrieve his computer. I see the OEM partitions on the disk, so I hope it's doable. I have installed Dell Backup and Restore. He said: he must first create an image. OK, 2 hours later it cancelled and said 'user cancelled the process, uninstall Dell Backup and Restore. " But I cancel anything! o.O

So I tried to run again, and I got even more options. Hope to see something to do a factory reset, but most close option is to create a media factory reset. I plugged a USB 16 GB, click Next, and it gave me an error saying that "there was a mistake in the process. o.O

I tried to get to the screen 'Repair your computer' by pressing F8 at startup, but the computer stops after a minute by clicking on the option.

So I'm stuck. Is there another way I could get their mobile phone factory reset?
I was able to install it by using a Windows 8 ISO from Microsoft site, instead of the factory reset?
    Any other advice?

    Thank you

Before going any further - run a diagnostic extended hard disk (f12 at startup to join Dell diagnostics).  A failed hard drive is quite possible.

If the drive passes the scope - and not only the flesh to live - diagnostic, which shows of BONE on the product key label (in the battery compartment)?  It may be the system comes with 7, but has been improved to 8.

At this point, you can take advantage of the upgrade of WIndows 10 - it's free and you can get the Microsoft installation media.  Just check the label of the product key so that you get the right version (it is unlikely that this system is delivered with 7 Pro - House is on the label, you should just Windows 10 (not Pro).)  Your product key will work to install Windows 10 on the system.

All this is based on a faulty hard drive.

If the system shuts down during the diagnostic tests, you can have an overheating problem (is the system running hot?-if so, remove the heat sink assemblies dust).  If it is not hot but switched off, you probably have a bad mother.

  • iPhone factory resets Iteslf with Random key Presses before Logging In

It is the second time that has happened in exactly in the same way. I couldn't find an answer on Google. My Toddler pressed randomly my iPhone 6 so that it is locked. I have a 6-digit digital access code that she could not get in.  I saw her intermittently. Once the iPhone has been disabled due to too many password failures (it had to be expected). The second time she was pressing randomly on the emergency call screen (she did not an emergency call).  After that she did play with the phone for somewhere between 5-10 minutes, I put the phone without seeing the screen.

After 30 minutes when I turned on the screen, this is the page of "Hello" that you see on an iPhone new or factory reset.

I tried out the photos of DiskAid, Mac 'image Capture' and iTunes, but there are 0 photos and iTunes says "Welcome to your new iPhone.

I'm puzzled because this is the second time it happened. What could have happened?  Y at - it and reset code factory as a secret that my toddler randomly correctly - pressed twice?

There is no secret to it.  This is exactly what happens when you set:

    Settings > Touch ID & password > clear data = 'On '.

After ten attempts password on the iPhone, all data is erased.

I have my 5 factory reset iPhone, now I can't set up my iPhone because it must be enabled, and I don't have a sim card to make. Is there a way I can install and use my iPhone without needing to be activated? Can someone help me please?

To skip the activation of sim card, you can use iTunes if you have a CDMA iPhone. However, if you have a GSM model you will need to insert a sim card to activate your iPhone (it can even be used/inactive). Here is an article that will help you determine if your iPhone is GSM or CDMA: http://osxdaily.com/2012/11/15/determine-iphone-gsm-or-cdma/

  • After the factory restore via itunes on pc on my ipod classic he said plug on sector finally now all I get is a picture of a charger and taken, it won't even load

After restoring my ipod classic 4th generation 40 GB to factory settings via itunes on my pc the message plug to the charger to complete came I did it, but all I get is a picture of a charger and power socket, but it will not charge or do anything else

The 4th generation iPod requires the connection to the USB adapter that comes with it to complete the restore process.  Another adapter Apple, like the one that comes with the iPhone or iPad, should also work.  Non-Apple power adapters may work fine for regular charging of the battery of the iPod, but often do not work for this particular use.  If you have a Mac with a FireWire port, and you have a FireWire cable, you can also get past this step by connecting the iPod to a FireWire port.  It is a peculiarity of design iPod 4th gen.

  • After factory reset is all gone

I'm selling my Mac Air have done a factory reset and reinstalled the operating system of El Capitan. I just want to be sure I'm sure forgot to sign out of iTunes before performing these operations.

It is now possible for the new owner to see my browsing history, keeper password etc, or everything is completely erased?

You must wipe the drive and install the version of Mac OS X that came pre-installed. You can not move from El Capitan to the next owner unless you are willing to provide also your Apple ID and password.

    3. sign in with your Apple and the password.

    4. under 'Computer permissions' select ' All of authorize.

You can do this twice a year.

After you 'off to allow all' your computers authorized, re - authorize each of them according to the needs.

If you have authorized out of all computers and had to do it again, but your year has not elapsed, then contact: Apple - Support - iTunes - contact us.
