Failback puts the servers as passive

Hi, I got the following from a customer scenario and I was wondering if it was the expected configuration or if there is a misconfiguration in which what is ancient:

Once a failover occurs because of the failure of (public and channel interface) network connectivity, it shifts on the passive server as expected.  But once the former principal server takes over the access to the network, both servers are marked as liabilities so it shuts down the services Heartbeat and manual intervention is required for the installation configuration.

This behavior is expected or y at - there some configuration problem for restoration?

Yes, it's a default behavior. Otherwise when the network connection is handed over to two virtual machines protected by heartbeat, the two will try to be active together and you will see a split brain scenerio. It's normal, administrator will need to manually decide which is the only one to be active, start and perform the synchronization of the passive later.

    There are a few things that could happen here, the most common is a redundant server root folder in your files the.

    When you set up a site in DW, it is assumed that you will move the contents of your local folder in the root folder on the server. Sometimes, people will accidentally add that htdocs, www or in public_html (or whatever we call) root server for local files and create a problem of redundancy where the site is downloaded, just for the wrong folder to be considered as a normal Web site.

    If you could open your files window, connect to the server, then hit the Expand (two squares icon in the toolbar of the window files) and post a screenshot of that here, we could exclude enough quickly. There are a few other issues, such as the capitalization of names (servers are case-sensitive so Home.html is a file separate from home.html to the server locally, they are the same file) that could happen, but it would be the first person I would check.

    The data are stored only in memory. When "persistent" we check the configuration node and transitional so we don't save this node on the disk.

    If you're really worried about a security breach, you should probably encrypt your messages before you send them through companies low-cost (it should be easy to subclass the current models and encrypt/decrypt points on the fly).
